Go Berserk with Galarian Moltres, one of DOU's most unique setup sweepers! While it has a somewhat unimpressive base Special Attack stat, Nasty Plot and Berserk allow Galarian Moltres to accumulate boosts with ease and end games with Fiery Wrath, the strongest spread Dark-type move in the game. Air Slash hits Dark-resistant foes such as Incineroar and Whimsicott. Protect is even more important on Galarian Moltres than on the average Pokemon, as many opponents will try to double target it to knock it out; preventing both hits allows you to bring in a support ally or take out one of their attackers with another Pokemon. Tera Dragon only flips Galarian Moltres's Electric weakness but allows it to set up in front of powerful Pokemon like Ogerpon and Volcanion. Like all setup sweepers, Galarian Moltres tends to perform best as the cornerstone of a team. It appreciates Intimidate, Fake Out, and redirection support to help it set up; you'll often see the likes of Incineroar and Ogerpon-Wellspring by its side. Its best partner is perhaps Sinistcha, as Hospitality and Life Dew can keep Galarian Moltres healthy and allow extra activations of Berserk, Rage Powder keeps it safe, and Trick Room helps neutralize opposing Tailwind offense that might overwhelm Galarian Moltres.
