I saw this in an Ubers battle, it was hilarious. The idiot fighting against it allowed it to kill off his Arceus, and it pretty much stopped everything else on his team.. Except for Dialga, which I have no idea why he didn't immediately send it out.

Yes, that is correct.

Sky Drop is an incredibly funny move when it's used in such a way that the foe can't really do anything about it. Too bad not a lot of the more bulkier Pokémon didn't get it.
 
Hey, does anyone know what happens to a Pokémon that gets Sky Dropped while it's in the middle of Outrage, Petal Dance, etc.? Does it cancel the whole thing?
 
What I do with Sky Drop (Freefall):

Politoed used Perish Song!
(Pokemon attacks)
Perish count fell to 3!

Politoed switched to Skarmory.
(Pokemon Attacks)
Perish count fell to 2!

Skarmory used Sky Drop!
(Pokemon cannot move)
-OR-
(Pokemon attacks)
Skarmory used Sky Drop!
Perish count fell to 1!

Skarmory used Sky Drop! (Damaged)
(Pokemon attacks)
Perish count fell to 0! (Pokemon dies)



Catches so many people off guard. And wasn't Sky Drop banned because of the glitch it has with Gravity? 0.o

The pokemon can switch on the turn Skarm uses Sky Drop...

This is essentially what Ash's Charizard used against Blaine's Magmar.

They just called it Seismic Toss for some reason.
