[SET COMMENTS]
Falinks finds itself mostly outclassed by Kommo-o and several other sweepers, and it's completely walled by Aegislash. It has a few quirks to differentiate it from other sweepers, but it's still not enough to make it a reasonable choice on most teams. Max Knuckle raising its Attack stat can be a valuable trait to differentiate it from Kommo-o, which prefers using special sets. No Retreat not weakening Falinks means it can make use of its bulk to deal with Ditto if it's below half HP or stomach a Moonblast from defensive Clefable and 2HKO it with Poison Jab. If Falinks Dynamaxes, it can also beat a Ditto above half HP. Zen Headbutt is important for Toxapex; while it doesn't beat Toxapex outright unless it Dynamaxes and either Psychic Terrain is up or it has used Max Knuckle, it may still be nice to weaken Toxapex for its teammates. Zen Headbutt also hits Gengar and is Falinks's best option for a weakened Dragapult. Aside from Clefable, Poison Jab is also nice for the likes of Hatterene and Alcremie. Jolly is the preferred nature to outspeed Modest Dragapult at +1. Expert Belt helps keep Falinks healthy and boosts the power of its coverage moves against the likes of Toxapex and Clefable, but Life Orb is an option for the added power.
Falinks fits best on hyper offensive teams. Support from Grimmsnarl and dual screens is very important because it helps Falinks beat a Ditto one-on-one when Falinks is at full health and tank countless hits better as it sets up and attempts to sweep. Allies such as Hatterene, Gyarados, and Galarian Darmanitan that can help pressure the likes of Aegislash and Toxapex—Falinks's biggest nightmares—are also appreciated.
