Alright people, first of all the rules and regulations!

1) Single Entry due to sheer number of users in this round, so make it count. Later rounds will see this relaxed.



2) You have until Monday 12 March to submit, otherwise you forfeit on the virtue of being a pussie!



3) You can post the lyrics alone, put an instrumental link next to them and let peoples imagination run wild, record it live, have someone rap the lyrics for you, the important thin is 2 Minutes max for each entry IF YOU DECIDE TO RECORD. Later rounds will see this relaxed.

4) On the subject of who goes first, talk to the player in PMs if you want, not in this topic! This topic is about swag, pics, raps, lyrics, cheering whateva but coordination if any goes in the PM between players. You can find all combatants here:

5) There's too many of you people! If you want to post MC names, pictures or anything else do it by yourself.



6) Audacity, Soundcloud are all good sites, others can be googled for.



7) You can reuse the instrumentals of someone else.



8) Those who want to choose a second mon in keeping with the pokemon theme of double battles. However:

A) You only get to choose another mon in the addition to the one you've already chosen and you can only alternate between the two

B) You need to announce which mon your using before the round ends or during the voting period, otherwise if you qualify for later rounds your mon will be the last represented

C) You cannot choose a mon(s) selected by other players. First come first serve.



9) DON'T TAKE THE INSULTS DIRECTED AT YOUR MON SERIOUSLY AND PERSONALLY, IT'S JUST FOR SHOW

Woah, I must have missed something here, because I figured we would just write raps, not actually perform them. Is it mandatory to record them?
 
I can't speak for the OP, but some people aren't that great at recording. I personally wouldn't see why they'd have to be recorded, but you've got to understand that people will most likely have a harder time understanding them if they're not recorded. It would definitely give your opponent an advantage.

Winner will be decided by polls.

Cause in the end prolly the only thing original is the lyrics for the most of us.
