He's my lead he puts toxic spikes and can easily take a hit. He does worry about such threats as Zone and Gengar, but they haven't been seen as much as new leads (Crobat and the such). He resists fighting and ice, along with a lot of others, and then if there's a pokemon with fire...

....I switch Heatran in. He then proceeds to sweep and lay waste to the team. I picked heatran mostly because of the semi large fire weakness, along with that fairly big special defence he can take some hits, just have to be careful of those ever threatening Ground and Fighting moves. But when I feel threatened....

Heracross comes in to make sure little Gengar doesn't get hurt. He can take a WoW if I feel that I shouldn't bring heatran into the matter. pretty standered cross... Do I really need to explain it?

Cresselia, carries a lot of my teams weakness. I decided to spread the Def and SpDef ev's to make her a tad more durable on both ends of the scale. It usually works out fairly well in the end for me. T-Wave to cripple pokes and Charge Beam to boost special attack. Ice beam for things that resit Charge Beam.

Swords Dance Lucario. I love this thing because after one SD's it can OHKO a lot of things, and after 2 It pretty much kills everything. I love using this thing to pick up the slack that my team has on ghosts types (sort of) and it can switch in on Ghost and Dark. Two weaknesses on my team.

So...
What do you think?

Gen. Empoleon: battle plz, no nasty polt, swords dance, or dragon dance, and u HAVE TO LET me set up bellyzard, and no taunt, or heracross, and NO WEAVILE, and no substitute, unless I have it. And don't use that many attacks and NO ROAR, or WHIRLWIND, AND IF I'M GOING TO LOSE, then quit the fight

Same one??

I'd drop Dark Pulse for Dragon Pulse if you insist on HP Grass Heatran.

Also maybe move Gengar to lead? Forretress seems like it would get raped by any Special leads, but thats just me.

Forretress, does not resist rock...

Gengar should lead, as it is your best bet. Forretress doesn't stand up to SpecsMence, Azelf, Gengar, or Bronzong(the last two because of Hypnosis). The only lead you could beat is Aerodactly, but then again, you don't even have Gyro Ball on it.

EDIT: You don't exactly need to explain the set, unless it is an unorthodox pokemon or EV spread, or set in general. We just need to know how your pokemon(Heracross) fits in the scheme of your team and what it brings to the table for the team's overall synergy.

Yes, same one :D

That's the point of forretress honestly. Scope the field. Plus he can take a T-Bolt from gengar before dying so I don't see why not. Azelf will try Flamethrower so I can then switch to Tran. He doesn't worry about ghost or dark. Let alone many physical attacks, he's the perfect lead for my team.

I was thinking that Dragon Pulse... but it gave me a funny feeling.

ok first i reccomend Gengar as your Lead, it can Hypnosis, and its pretty fast. if you really have a time for all the pokes you can leave Forrestress as your lead, but i would reccomend you to have a status absorber /sleep talker. that pokemon could be Cresselia, which likes a lot better Rest than moonlight, even more under Sandstorm.

Then, Heatran OMG D:, i dont see the usage of Hp Grass...
u are not gonna stand onto a Ground or Water Pokémon... and sometimes it hits harder a Fire Blast than HP grass o.o. Dark Pulse can help on him scarfed, but explosion helps even more.
I would reccomend a heatran like this:

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
252 SpA / 252 Spe / 6 Hp
~ Fire Blast
~ Earth Power
~ Hidden Power [Ice]
~ Explosion

-HP Ice Because it would hit harder on dragons than dragon pulse. and it is almost needed since he isnt holding Specs or Life Orb.
-a fast Explosion is always handy to get rid of pokemons that are giving you problems.
-Fire Blast over Flamethrower, one more time because it needs power to pose a threat.
Earthpower, well coverage =)..

In overall. Pretty standart team, it doesnt have a strategy other than protect your pokemons and try to atack while you cover their resistances.
i hope it works out for you, Cya!

EDIT: Monkeymeet beat me to it.

No, typically lead Azelfs run Sash, Taunt, Flamethrower, Stealth Rock, and Explosion/Psychic/U-Turn. Seeing as Taunt itself ruins Forry's job, you allow Azelf to get a free Stealth Rock if you switch out of Azelf at first. Also, if you just Explode, Azelf will hang on with Sash. Just seems like a waste of potential when you could be doing massive damage with Gengar. But then again, you don't have many good potential leads... Keep these things in mind when building a team(mainly the good lead part).
