Eiscue makes for a niche sweeper in OU on hyper offensive teams thanks to its access to Belly Drum and a decent ability in Ice Face. With Ice Face, Eiscue can guarantee a free turn for setup against powerful physical attackers like Excadrill and Tyranitar as well as a free pivot into passive physical attackers it can force out in order to set up, such as Hippowdon. Its Speed also drastically increases after Ice Face is broken, furthering its late-game sweeping prowess. However, it is often reliant on foes breaking Ice Face to sweep with this Speed boost, meaning it can be worked around with careful play. Its poor longevity and defensive typing can also prevent it from reliably setting up or sustaining a sweep. Zen Headbutt complements Eiscue's coverage nicely, nailing Toxapex and blowing past neutral targets like Rotom-W and Jellicent after a boost. Substitute alongside Salac Berry allows Eiscue to more reliably increase its Speed to sweep while providing it more reliable setup in general. Liquidation provides strong neutral and super effective coverage against various threats, most notably including Aegislash and Rotom-H. If running it, Eiscue should opt for Heavy-Duty Boots as its item, mitigating its weakness to Stealth Rock in order to more easily set up. Salac Berry would also be harder to activate without Substitute, making Heavy-Duty Boots the safer option.

Eiscue generally only fits well on offensive archetypes due to its potency as a cleaner despite its longevity issues. If running Substitute, it appreciates answers to two of its more common checks in Aegislash and Rotom-H, such as Hydreigon and Tyranitar. It also appreciates entry hazard removal in order to prevent taking Stealth Rock damage while trying to set up. Mold Breaker variants of Excadrill prove useful to Eiscue, providing Rapid Spin support and a way of offensively handling Rotom-H. It can also function as an offensive answer to Bisharp, which is capable of using Sucker Punch to cut Eiscue's sweep short if Ice Face has been broken. Wallbreakers such as Dracovish and Obstagoon can help weaken opposing teams for Eiscue to finish off late-game, making them useful teammates as well.

Eiscue makes for a potent niche sweeper in OU thanks to its access to Belly Drum and an excellent decent ability in Ice Face. Calling Ice Face an excellent ability is overselling it a lot because its weakness is super easy to exploit for any team. With Ice Face, Eiscue can guarantee a free turn for setup against powerful physical attackers like Excadrill and Tyranitar, as well as a free pivot into passive physical attackers it can force out in order to set up, like Hippowdon. Its Speed also drastically increases after Ice Face is broken, furthering its late-game sweeping prowess. Zen Headbutt complements Eiscue's Ice-type STAB nicely, nailing Toxapex and blowing past neutral targets like Rotom-W and Jellicent after a boost. Substitute alongside Salac Berry allows Eiscue to more reliably increase its Speed to sweep while providing it more reliable setup in general. Additionally, it prevents Ditto from using Imposter to copy Eiscue's stat boosts and revenge kill it. Liquidation provides strong neutral coverage against various threats, most notably including Aegislash and Rotom-H. Liquidation isn't neutral against Rotom-H. If running it, Eiscue should opt for Heavy-Duty Boots as its item, mitigating its weakness to Stealth Rock in order to more easily set up. The fact that you can't reliably activate Salac Berry without Substitute is a big reason why you'd rather run Heavy-Duty Boots on Liquidation sets.

Eiscue fits best on offensive archetypes due to its potency as a cleaner. If running Substitute, it appreciates answers to two of its more common checks in Aegislash and Rotom-H, such as Hydreigon and Tyranitar. It also appreciates entry hazard removal in order to prevent taking Stealth Rock damage while trying to set up. Conkeldurr makes for a strong partner for this reason, supporting Eiscue with Defog while utilizing its massive Attack stat and guts to punch holes in opposing teams. I dont think you're ever going to manage to fit Conkeldurr and Eiscue onto the same team. Considering that Eiscue is almost exclusive to hyper offensive teams, I don't think dedicated removal beyond Excadrill is that important. Mold Breaker variants of Excadrill also prove useful to Eiscue, providing Rapid Spin support and a way of offensively handling Rotom-H. Both of the aforementioned Pokemon can also answer to Bisharp, which is capable of using Sucker Punch to cut Eiscue's sweep short if Ice Face has been broken.

Good job, 1/2.

Talk about how Ice Face's situational usage limits Eiscue's viability, as it has to be hit with a physical attack in order to get to 130 Speed. Expand more on its negatives as a whole at the start. Tag me once you've done this and I'll give this a check Hilomilo
