[SET COMMENTS]
Dugtrio is unique among other revenge killers as due to its ability in Arena Trap, which prevents any grounded, non-Ghost-type Pokemon without Shed Shell from switching out. Its high base 120 Speed paired with a Choice Scarf and with STAB Earthquake let it smack premier threats in the Ubers tier such as Zacian-C, Eternatus, and most Choice Scarf users like Galarian Darmanitan. Dugtrio also possess decent coverage moves such as Stone Edge to hit targets that are immune to Earthquake like Gyarados. However, its lackluster base 100 Attack and frailty requires it to run an Adamant nature, and rely heavily on team support to do its job effectively. Dugtrio isn't Dynamax worthy either, as it is still relatively delicate even with double the HP and loses the effect of Choice Scarf in the duration of Dynamax, making it slower than crucial targets like Zacian-C. However, that trade for a little bit more power can be useful in a pinch. Despite those hindrances, Dugtrio utilizes Memento well with Arena Trap, as it generally gets to pick which target to heavily cripple at the cost of its life and allows the user to switch-in a teammate safely. Toxic can be useful for putting bulkier Pokemon like Quagsire on a timer. Sucker Punch and Reversal can be useful in certain situations, but rarely. Although Dugtrio seems promising as a revenge killer due to its ability and speed, it depends heavily on its teammates, which can make it fairly difficult to fit on a team.
Dugtrio excels when dealing with offensive Pokemon that are frail in nature like Cinderace thanks to its mediocre base 100 Attack. However, it still misses out on some KOs against the likes of Zacian-C and Eternatus even after Stealth Rock damage, so having allies to dump entry hazards like Spikes on the foe's side is valuable to Dugtrio. Status moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Toxic can also wear the foe down to KO range. As a last resort, Pokemon like Rocky Helmet Corviknight and Iron Barbs Ferrothorn can be used to chip physical threats like Zacian-C. Due to its frailness, having teammates that can use pivot moves like Teleport and U-turn to bring Dugtrio in safely is key. When Dugtrio is no longer needed, its access to Memento allows sweepers like Kyurem-B to come in and set up boosts on the weakened foe.
