IT'S A TRAP!

  • The speed evs allow it to outpace base 115's and the rest should just go into defense.
 
I know choice band will end up being the main set, although I have been seeing quite a bit of this around:

Hmm... It looks like it might work, I'll test it out and see how it goes.
 
that's the only thing dugtrio should be doing, arguably.

The main set is LO, not Focus Sash. It's EQ/Stone Edge/Sucker Punch/(Pursuit or Stealth Rock), as far I've fought. Pursuit is for flying or levitating pokemon.

Why not make them slashes then and mention a must needed Aerial Ace for revenging Heracross that aren't Choice Scarfed?

No. Please don't put this in. No leads in 5th gen blah blah blah plus Duggy is a terrible user of SR.

Also, Memento needs a mention on an LO set. Once Dugtrio has revenged a dangerous threat, he's often dead weight for a team. Memento lets him get the ball rolling for another teammate to setup and sweep with Dugtrio having trapped and killed its main counter. It really is indispensable with Life Orb, and Dugtrio has the speed to pull it off.

In addition, Soft Sand / Expert Belt Dugtrio is actually very underrated; if an opponent sees that you have no Life Orb recoil, they will assume you are Choiced; you can then proceed to hit them as hard as you can, or use Memento.
 
Substitute should probably get a slash next to Shadow Claw, letting you take advantage of choiced electric attacks and allowing you to avoid Sucker Punch on the LO sets.

Is there a reason to be using Shadow Claw over Night Slash? Not that it really matters but night slash has no immunities and Shadow Claw does, and they have virtually the same coverage besides that.
 
I think Memento should deserve a slash in the Shadow Claw Slot

While using Wobtrio, I noticed that Duggy wasn't doing a whole lot after Wob got KO'd. So, I threw Momento on it, and it works wonders. It creates a bigger threat has a last hurrah than another attack that wouldn't KO does, and creates a free turn for you to set-up with another mon. Totally worth losing Shadow Claw over.

I said I don't think it should be a main set, at all, but because of its sheer use, it warants a mention in OO. I mean just as many people use the set I listed, then soft sand or expert belt.
 
Toxic deserves a slash if you're running LO. If you've trapped a defensive mon like, say, Chansey or Wobbuffet, you can wear it down faster.

Night Slash could use an AC mention for being more reliable than Sucker Punch with only 10 less base power.
