Drednaw is a decent suicide lead thanks to a good Speed tier, access to Stealth Rock, and capability to keep up momentum for its team by utilizing Head Smash recoil to KO itself. The combination of Head Smash and Liquidation provides superb coverage, enabling Drednaw to heavily damage other Stealth Rock setters such as Sandaconda, Piloswine, Golurk, and Clefairy. Bulldoze prevents Pokemon like Flame Charge Silvally formes and Weak Armor Cursola from boosting their Speed and can potentially let Drednaw get off two attacks before it is KOed. Alternatively, Superpower allows Drednaw to super effectively hit Ferroseed. Focus Sash bolsters Drednaw's capability as a lead, letting it survive an attack and set up Stealth Rock or attack the foe. Swift Swim allows Drednaw to potentially take advantage of opposing rain teams.

Drednaw fits on hyper offense teams that appreciate its ability to lead, set up Stealth Rock, and establish early-game momentum. If preserved until mid-game, Drednaw can also function as a powerful offensive threat that can wallbreak against special walls such as Clefairy and Alcremie. Setup sweepers like Klinklang, Silvally-Fire, Skuntank, and Swords Dance Rapidash value Drednaw weakening opposing Ground-types such as Piloswine, Sandaconda, and Galarian Stunfisk. In return, these sweepers can take advantage of Grass-types such as Ferroseed and Eldegoss that pressure Drednaw to set up. Aurora Veil Abomasnow is a notable partner on hyper offense teams, providing dual screens support for Pokemon enabled by Drednaw to set up and sweep.

Drednaw is a decent suicide lead thanks to a good Speed tier, access to Stealth Rocks Rock, and capability to fire off a very strong Head Smash. (tbh the important part of Head Smash isn't that it's strong; rather, it lets Drednaw KO itself with recoil and keep up momentum for its team/prevent Stealth Rock from being removed) The combination of Head Smash and Liquidation provides superb coverage, enabling Drednaw to neutrally damage almost all Pokemon in NU. (honestly I don't think this point is necessary, but feel free to keep it and let the next QCer decide) The fourth move is flexible; Earthquake serves as coverage for Toxicroak (talk here instead about how Bulldoze prevents Speed-boosting setup Pokemon from well, boosting Speed, and how it can let Drednaw get off two hits before it goes down if you Bulldoze into Head Smash/Liquidation) whereas Superpower allows Drednaw to super effectively (it's super effectively, not supereffectively) hit Ferroseed. Focus Sash bolsters Drednaw's capability as a lead, letting it survive an attack and set up Stealth Rock or attack the foe. The EV spread maximizes offensive capabilities, allowing Drednaw to outspeed checks such as Eldegoss and Sandaconda. (fluff) <add a sentence about how Swift Swim is situationally useful against rain teams>

Drednaw primarily (honestly you're not using this set on any other team from my experience) fits on hyper offense teams that appreciate its ability to lead, set up Stealth Rock, and establish early-game momentum. If preserved until mid-game, Drednaw can also function as a powerful offensive threat that can wallbreak against specially defensive special walls such as Clefairy and Alcremie. Setup (no hyphen) sweepers like Klinklang, Silvally-Fire, Skuntank, and Swords Dance Rapidash value Drednaw weakening opposing Ground-types such as Piloswine, Sandaconda, and Galarian Stunfisk. In return, these sweepers can take advantage of Grass-types such as Ferroseed and Eldegoss that pressure Drednaw to set up. <there should 100% be a mention of Aurora Veil Abomasnow, not so much because Drednaw appreciates it but because it's always on the same teams as Drednaw>

(Bulldoze is a ton better for getting an edge against anything faster than Drednaw so that it may have an extra opportunity to SR or Head Smash, and specifically helps it be an anti-lead. I think its okay to mention superpower, but not as a slash)

The combination of Head Smash and Liquidation provides superb coverage, enabling Drednaw to neutrally damage almost all Pokemon in NU (while this is true, I think its better to say specifically that this coverage hits other SR setters such as Sanaconda, Piloswine, Golurk, and Clefairy for huge damage ). The fourth move is flexible; Bulldoze prevents setup sweepers like Flame Charge Silvally formes and Weak Armor Cursola from Speed-boosting and can potentially let Drednaw get off two attacks before it is KOed. whereas Superpower allows Drednaw to super effectively hit Ferroseed (see above, and try to rephrase this to "alternatively" or something similar when introducing superpower. Also, one of dred's pro as a lead is that it can stay in and stop cursola, its competition, from gaining momentum, so that should be mentioned no doubt). Focus Sash bolsters Drednaw's capability as a lead, letting it survive an attack and set up Stealth Rock or attack the foe. Swift Swim allows Drednaw to potentially take advantage of opposing rain teams.
