Drednaw @ White Herb
Ability: Strong Jaw
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Shell Smash
- Liquidation
- Stone Edge
- Crunch

Dread it, run from it, Drednaw arrives all the same! Shell Smash, paired with White Herb to clear up the stat drops, boosts Drednaw's power to jaw-dropping levels, allowing it to outspeed and OHKO common Pokemon like Flygon with ease. Strong Jaw-boosted Crunch ravages through Psychic- and Ghost-types, notably securing an OHKO on Bronzong and Basculegion-M at +2. Tera Dark powers up Crunch even further to OHKO pesky foes like Gastrodon and Galarian Slowbro at +2 and the aforementioned Bronzong unboosted after Stealth Rock. Drednaw is a great fit in offense and hyper offense structures, as it greatly appreciates entry hazards set by teammates like Flygon and Froslass to wear down the opposition and enable a sweep. Drednaw struggles against Pokemon like Paldean Tauros-W, Amoonguss, and Swampert, which can survive a hit and threaten it back with super effective attacks, so it appreciates special attackers that can deal with them like Alolan Ninetales, Munkidori, and Porygon-Z. Other physical sweepers such as Flygon and Cinccino also pair well with Drednaw, as it can eliminate or weaken defensive Pokemon like Bronzong, Vaporeon, and Amoonguss to open up their ability to sweep.

Strong Jaw-boosted Crunch ravages through Psychic- and Ghost-types, notable securing an OHKO on Basculegion after Stealth Rock and a 2HKO on Bronzong rewrite this to just be +2 because of shell smash, as then crunch ohkoes zong & basc. Tera Dark powers up Crunch even further to OHKO pesky foes like Gastrodon and gbro at +2 and the aforementioned Bronzong unboosted after Stealth Rock. Drednaw is a great fit in offense and hyper offense structures, as it greatly appreciates entry hazards set by teammates like Gligar and Froslass flygon fits better than gligar on the builds drednaw likes, or if you mean spikes leads, then bramble to wear down the opposition and enable a sweep. Drednaw struggles against Pokemon like Paldean Tauros-W, Amoonguss, and Swampert, which can survive a hit and threaten it back with super effective attacks, so it appreciates special attackers that can take advantage of them like Alolan Ninetales, Munkidori, and Porygon-Z. saying take advantage and then listing mons that cant take their hits easily is a bit off. either reword or use mons like croak and decid Other physical sweepers such as Flygon and Cinccino also pair well with Drednaw, as it can eliminate or weaken defensive Pokemon like Bronzong, Vaporeon, and Amoonguss to open up their ability to sweep.
