Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots

The combination of Multiscale, Dragon Dance, and Roost makes Dragonite a threatening sweeper in the Electric, Fire, and Water matchups. Dragon Claw allows Dragonite to damage Pokemon such as Rotom-W and Pelipper while also being able to switch moves. Earthquake threatens Steel-, Electric-, and Poison-types such as Aegislash, Tapu Koko, and Toxapex. The combination of Dragon Dance and Roost allows Dragonite to set up multiple times on Pokemon that rely on chip damage to deal with it, such as Rotom-W, while also maximizing the utility of Multiscale. 144 Attack EVs let Dragonite OHKO SubRoost Kyurem with Dragon Claw after a Dragon Dance. Dragonite is unable to check defensive Pokemon such as Skarmory and Slowbro, so special attackers like Thundurus-T and Galarian Moltres make great teammates. Pokemon like Celesteela and Corviknight are appreciated to check Fairy-types such as Tapu Bulu and Tapu Fini.

I’d exclude Steel. The general presence of Ferrothorn +Leech plus Toxic/Leech + Slam Steela OR skarmory leaves the Steel mu more in the hands of Galarian Moltres/Zap. Poison can check this with Toxic Crobat & Galarian Weezing and it mainly makes progress late game and that’s dependent if the user is using A Nihilego variant which threatens flying. Just leave Fire Elec Water here.



Change fearsome to threatening.



Add some non-Electric targets that dclaw hits. Maybe rotom and a flying/water so it flows well with your type examples?



Replace ferro with a different steel type that isn’t neutral to eq



Change +1 to “after a Dragon Dance”, seems less lazy.



“The other EVs were invested in HP to make Dragonite as bulky as possible.” This feels implied as you’ve already stated the main purpose of the evs



Tapu bulu / fini should be listed in the examples it has a hard time with.



Dragonite is not the best in fairy or psychic and it’s not doing much even if just lele is removed tbh. Dnite is mainly just the fire resist for victini so remove this entire line regarding celesteela.

Also make a generalized line before you talk abt thundurus and moltres about them being effective against defensive pokemon. It’s nice to provide the reader actual examples of what pokemon they deal with and/or drafonite struggles with however it doesn’t need an emphasized mention since this is a spotlight. Something like “abc and yards deals with mega sableye with nasty plot for dnite”

Remove “where the opponent cannot deal significant damage to it quickl”.

Barr askew da is not a Dclaw target in the group of Rotom. I meant Water types that aren’t bothered by eq similar to how you had electric types unbothered by eq. Replace barra with Pelipper.

Dragonite is unable to check defensive Pokemon such as Skarmory and Slowbro,(AC) so special attackers like Thundurus-T and Galarian Moltres make great teammates to handle them. I'll leave it in because Dnite is Electric team breaker I think. The switching moves thing feels kinda needed because Outrage can be taken advantage of by Koko, etc.
