Having access to Toxic Spikes makes Dragalge an excellent pick for Dragon teams, as they further enhance Dragon teams' offensive presence, most notably against types such as Fairy and Psychic. Its Poison typing also allows Dragalge to take Fairy-type attacks from foes like Gardevoir and Hatterene and remove the opposing Toxic Spikes from foes like Toxapex. Sludge Wave is Dragalge's way of dealing damage while having a way to nail the aforementioned Fairy-types. Dragalge's mediocre Speed allows it to put Flip Turn to excellent use, bringing in teammates such as Kyurem and Hydreigon safely against Pokemon it underspeeds, such as Toxapex, that like to spread status. Protect is used for scouting Choice-locked Pokemon such as Diggersby, Indeedee-M, Jirachi, and Gardevoir, providing an extra turn of Black Sludge recovery as well as accumulating Toxic Spikes damage. Adaptability bolsters the power of Sludge Wave greatly and allows Dragalge to beat Hatterene after one Calm Mind. 20 Special Attack EVs ensure that Dragalge always OHKOes Gardevoir after one turn of poison damage or after Stealth Rock damage. The rest of EVs are dumped to HP and Special Defense to benefit best from Dragalge's natural bulk. 24 Speed IVs along with a Sassy nature allow Dragalge to underspeed Toxapex, thus acting as a sponge to status inflicting moves such as Scald and Toxic.

Substitute users such as Kyurem and Hydreigon appreciate Toxic Spikes, greatly as it helps them to break types like Normal, Fairy, Psychic, and Ground more consistently throughout the game. Furthermore, Dragalge can act as a slow pivot for the two with Flip Turn. In return, Kyurem can take advantage of Water-types that are not afraid of facing Dragalge such as Seismitoad and Toxapex with Freeze Dry, while Hydreigon can switch into Psychic-type attacks from Choice-locked foes such as Indeedee-M and beats Steel-types such as Corviknight and Ferrothorn. Dragapult is another Substitute user that is a fantastic partner for Dragalge, as it can lend itself to a plethora of roles; thanks to Hex, it can punish most Psychic-types besides Jirachi and Indeedee-M with the help of Toxic Spikes, its U-turn allows it to be one of fastest pivots in the game, and with a Choice Scarf set, it can be an excellent revenge killer against foes like Kingdra under Swift Swim with its almost unresisted STAB combination. Furthermore, its Ghost typing allows Dragapult to act as a spinblocker against foes like Excadrill and Torkoal. Duraludon is another good partner for Dragalge, as the duo forms a good defensive backbone thanks to Duralodon's good physical bulk. Thanks to its Steel typing, Duraludon can switch into Choice Scarf Jirachi's Iron Head and threaten it with Thunder Wave and handle other Fairy-types such as Azumarill, Mimikyu, and Klefki. Noivern can help Dragalge in many ways between its sets; a standard stallbreaker set prevents common Defog users such as opposing Noivern and Braviary from removing Toxic Spikes with Taunt, and its access to U-turn lets the duo perform as a pivot core with Dragalge's access to Flip Turn. Furthermore, its Flying typing lets Noivern switch into Ground-type attacks from foes like Choice Scarf Excadrill and Seismitoad.

This is ready for qc now. a few notes.

I put 20 in SpA as it always ohkoes Gardevoir from full after rocks or poison damage, while also ohkoing Hatterene at 0 with 75% chance. Gardevoir has about 81% KO rate without 20 EV and for hatterene it makes 12.5% difference, the chance to KO is 62.5% without it.

I also considered doing a tiny bit of negative speed IVs as with sassy nature you can go slower than a Toxapex while still outspeeding Hatterene so you can potentially dodge some scald burns or toxics with Dragalge. ( Sassy Dragalge hits 111 while natural Pex is 106)

e: did some edits, wording of certain stuff was weird.

Dragalge acts as a solid specially defensive pivot with its good typing and defensive stats, while also setting Toxic Spikes for its team as well as removing the opposing Toxic Spikes from foes like Toxapex. Thanks to Toxic Spikes, Dragalge can cripple types that lack proper hazard removal, such as Psychic and Fairy. Sludge Wave allows Dragalge to do good chunks of damage to Fairy-types, most notably Hatterene and Gardevoir which are huge threats for Dragon teams. Dragalge's mediocre Speed allows it to (if you choose to add 28 speed, mention it creeping hippo) put Flip Turn to excellent use, as it allows Dragalge to bring in teammates such as Kyurem and Hydreigon safely. Protect is used for scouting Choice-locked Pokemon such as Jirachi and Gardevoir, providing an extra turn of Black Sludge recovery as well as accumulating Toxic Spikes damage. Adaptability is used as it bolsters Sludge Wave greatly and allows Dragalge to beat Hatterene at +1(I think specifying "after one Calm Mind" is more reasonable"). 20 SpA EVs ensure that Dragalge always OHKOes Gardevoir after one turn of poison damage or after Stealth Rock damage. The rest of EVs are dumped to HP and SpD to benefit best from Dragalge's natural bulk.

Thanks to its good special bulk and part-Poison typing, Dragalge is a good partner to most viable Dragon-type Pokemon. Teammates who wall break such as Kyurem and Hydreigon appreciate Toxic Spikes greatly as it helps them to break more consistently through the game. Furthermore, Dragalge can slow pivot for the two with Flip Turn. Kyurem should be mentioned somewhere around here in its own brief sentence Before Hydreigon is mentioned In return, Hydreigon can switch into Psychic-type attacks from Choice-locked foes such as Indeedee-M. Duraludon is another good partner for Dragalge, as the duo forms a good hazard stacking core with Duraludon's access to Stealth Rock. Thanks to its Steel typing, Duraludon can switch into Choice Scarf Jirachi's Iron Head and threaten it with Thunder Wave as well as handling other Fairy types such as Azumarill, Mimikyu, and Klefki. Dragapult makes up a fantastic partner for Dragalge as it can lend itself to a plethora of roles; thanks to its Hex it can punish most of Psychic-type Pokemon besides Jirachi and Indeedee-M with the help of Toxic Spikes, its U-turn allows it to be one of fastest pivots in the game and revenge killer, and with a Choice Scarf set it can outspeed Kingdra under Drizzle and prevent it from clicking Dragon Pulse. Noivern makes a good teammate for Dragalge. With its good Speed tier along with U-turn, Noivern can be a fast pivot to switch out against foes like Gardevoir safely. It can remove entry hazards with Defog, and cripple defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex and Corviknight with Switcheroo. (I feel like Noivern's Stallbreaker set is a little better than its Scarf switcheroo set and/or should be mentioned @ Taunt/Hurricane/Roost/Defog does a lot, notably Poison)

Ty for AM. I don't think I'll be opting the speed mainly because you outspeed Hippowdon to use Draco Meteor freely and the set is offensive. With a specially defensive spread that doesnt contain Draco Meteor, Hippowdon (or any other team member) will shrug off the damage with ease and Seismitoad will always switch in your Flip Turn anyway so the investment is largely useless. I did add Kyurem's mention along with Noivern's stall breaker set.

- On the topic of Dragalge's EV spread, I'd recommend the spread of 208 HP / 20 SpA / 252 SpD / 28 Spe so Dragalge can get faster Flip Turn's versus standard Hippowdon.
- Say out the names of stats. i.e. Special Attack instead of SpA, Special Defense instead of SpD, and so forth.
- Generalize how Dragalge's Toxic Spikes support is beneficial to Dragon teams; the way it currently reads out implies that wallbreakers can only take advantage of it, which is weird considering that Dragon has many wallbreakers to begin with.
- Specify how Kyurem takes advantage of Water-types (Freeze-Dry).
- Instead of saying that Dragapult outspeeds "Kingdra under Drizzle", say that it outspeeds "Swift Swim Kingdra in the rain".

Can I insist on my previous statement on how Water immunities of Ground in Seismitoad and Gastrodon switch into Dragalge for free and ur never clicking Flip Turn for free as long as those mons are alive so you often find yourself double switching?

Another point is how uncommon Ground teams are in the current metagame as they struggle quite heavily against most of the types that can be considered as top tiers such as Psychic, Water, Dragon, and even Poison itself. Wouldnt it be better to underspeed certain Pokemon in Toxapex which is a lot more common to run into in the metagame to absorb status effects such as Toxic and Scald, also eat Knock Off to preserve items of its allies?

I will implement the others tomorrow.

Having access to Toxic Spikes makes Dragalge an excellent pick for Dragon teams as they further enhance Dragon teams' offensive presence, most notably against types such as Fairy and Psychic. It's Poison typing also allows Dragalge to remove the opposing Toxic Spikes from foes like Toxapex. say smthn about poison typing = fairy neutrality = taking certain fairy attacks such as (give examples)Sludge Wave is Dragalge's way of dealing damage while nailing Fairy types such as Hatterene and Gardevoir. Dragalge's mediocre Speed allows it to put Flip Turn to excellent use, as it allows Dragalge to name some mons it underspeedsbring in teammates such as Kyurem and Hydreigon safely. Protect is used for scouting Choice-locked Pokemon such as Jirachi, Indeedee, Diggersby and Gardevoir, providing an extra turn of Black Sludge recovery as well as accumulating Toxic Spikes damage. Adaptability is used as it bolsters Sludge Wave greatly and allows Dragalge to beat Hatterene after one Calm Mind. 20 Special Attack EVs ensure that Dragalge always OHKOes Gardevoir after one turn of poison damage or after Stealth Rock damage. Teammates who wall break such as Kyurem and Hydreigon appreciate Toxic Spikes greatly as it helps them to break more consistently through the game. instead of teammates who wallbreak i would talk about substitute users, and how toxic spikes allow them to stall out certain types like normal, fairy, psychic, ground etc, dragapult is also a good example as a sub user Furthermore, Dragalge can slow pivot for the two with Flip Turn. In return, Kyurem can take advantage of Water-types that are not afraid of facing Dragalge such as Seismitoad and Toxapex with Freeze Dry, while Hydreigon can switch into Psychic-type attacks from Choice-locked foes such as Indeedee-M hydreigon beats steels with flame or fire blast. Duraludon is another good partner for Dragalge, as the duo forms a good hazard stacking core with Duraludon's access to Stealth Rock. Thanks to its Steel typing, Duraludon can switch into Choice Scarf Jirachi's Iron Head and threaten it with Thunder Wave as well as handling other Fairy types such as Azumarill, Mimikyu, and Klefki. rephrase this to talk about dura's great defensive bulk, while alge is bulky specially, complimenting each other perfectly. u can use jirachis azu and mimikyu as examples but the fact that they form a really nice defensive core is the main pointDragapult makes up a fantastic partner for Dragalge as it can lend itself to a plethora of roles; thanks to its Hex it can punish most of Psychic-type Pokemon besides Jirachi and Indeedee-M with the help of Toxic Spikes, its U-turn allows it to be one of fastest pivots in the game, and with a Choice Scarf set it can be an excellent revenge killer with its almost unresisted STAB combination.move dragapult up after kyurem and hydreigon since it's also a sub user. talk about ghost typing blocking rapid spin too Furthermore, it can outspeed Swift Swim Kingdra in the rain if its running Choice Scarf and prevent Kingdra from clicking Dragon Pulse. condense this into previous sentenceNoivern can help Dragalge in many ways between its sets; a standard stall breaker set prevents common Defog users such as opposing Noivern and Pelipper removing Toxic Spikes with Taunt use mandibuzz and braviary as examples here, both dark and normal hate t spikes while dragon and water have other ways to remove them through their own alge or pex, its access to U-turn allows Noivern to act as a fast pivot, its Flying typing prevents Seismitoad from abusing Dragalge, expand on the ground immunity here, helping only with seis is a little vague, and talk about flip turn with u turn forming a core. scarf noivern is good but i think it's just fine to talk about taunt here since it handles those pokemon fine with t spikes support regardless and a Choice Scarf set can use Switcheroo to cripple bulky Pokemon such as Toxapex, Chansey, and Porygon2.

Having access to Toxic Spikes makes Dragalge an excellent pick for Dragon teams, (AC) as they further enhance Dragon teams' offensive presence, most notably against types such as Fairy and Psychic. It's Its Poison typing also allows Dragalge to take Fairy-type attacks such as Moonblast and Draining Kiss (i don't think specifically listing the actual moves is important since it can be inferred) from foes like Gardevoir and Hatterene, (RC) and remove the opposing Toxic Spikes from foes like Toxapex. Sludge Wave is Dragalge's way of dealing damage while nailing having a way to nail the aforementioned Fairy-types (AH). Dragalge's mediocre Speed allows it to put Flip Turn to excellent use, as it allows Dragalge underspeed Toxapex to bring in teammates such as Kyurem and Hydreigon safely it underspeeds like Toxapex (pretty sure this is what you meant based on the above qc check). Protect is used for scouting Choice-locked Pokemon such as Diggersby, Indeedee-M, Jirachi, and Gardevoir, providing an extra turn of Black Sludge recovery as well as accumulating Toxic Spikes damage.
