Whiscash is a defensive entry hazard setter with great typing and solid bulk. Stealth Rock can help chip common foes such as Misdreavus, Choice Scarf Rotom-F, and Haunter. However, even though Spikes don't affect the aforementioned Pokemon, it does better at hitting Rock-resistant threats such as Tinkatuff, Gabite, and Alolan Dugtrio. Earthquake can be used over Earth Power for the slightly higher damage, especially against special setup sweepers like Calm Mind Spiritomb and Wyrdeer, but Earth Power is generally preferred for inflicting better damage on physical walls like Klawf, Perrserker, and Alolan Persian and being unaffected by Grassy Terrain set by Thwackey, a common switch-in to Whiscash. Ice Beam is great for doing a chunk of damage on Grass-types like Gogoat, Flapple, and Dartrix. Surf is an option over Ice Beam, landing better damage on neutral targets instead of the previously mentioned foes. Stone Edge is great in the last slot to cover the likes of Charizard, as well as preventing setup sweepers like Rotom-F and Masquerain from taking advantage of Whiscash's relative passivity. Stealth Rock can be opted for instead to compress both forms of entry hazards into one Pokemon, possibly freeing up another team slot. Protect is used for scouting and gaining a bit more Leftovers recovery, but it is not very useful when running the more popular Heavy-Duty Boots. Oblivious allows Whiscash to set up hazards even against Taunt users like Alolan Persian and Misdreavus. Tera Poison is great for removing Whiscash's 4x weakness to Grass, with the added benefit letting it absorb Toxic Spikes. Tera Ghost turns it into a spinblocker in a pinch. The EV spread focuses on Special Defense over Defense because it makes for a better matchup against Volt Switch users like Rotom-F, as well as other special attackers like Alolan Persian and Fire-types like Charizard.

Whiscash appreciates spinblockers like Misdreavus and Spiritomb to keep its entry hazards up against Rapid Spin users like Quaxwell. Whiscash appreciates Charizard and Honchkrow's ability to deal with Grass-types; in return, it can take on the Rock- and Electric-types like Choice Scarf Lycanroc-N and Electrode. Grass-types like Gogoat and Dartrix also make for great teammates, as Whiscash can take on Fire- and Poison-types like Charizard, Houndoom, and Skuntank that threaten them. Its presence as an Electric-immune to help the likes of Masquerain and Honchkrow is superb, as it has the typing and bulk to take hits from the coverage moves that Pokemon like Raichu, Rotom-F, and Electrode carry. Dachsbun, Crabominable, and Carbink all benefit from Whiscash, as it can take Steel-type hits from Perrserker and Alolan Dugtrio for them. With a lot of the tier being weak or neutral to Rock, Whiscash finds itself having the typing to help the likes of Charizard, Masquerain, and Rabsca avoid dealing with Lycanroc-N, Dugtrio, and Gabite. It does find a lot of trouble handling Misdreavus, as it lacks the super effective coverage to get past its bulk. This is why pairing it with a Dark-type like Skuntank or Alolan Persian can be beneficial. Since Whiscash doesn't have recovery, it really doesnt like taking Will-O-Wisp from said Misdreavus, and Charizard or Toxic from Skuntank. As a result, status absorbers like Chansey, Dragonair, and Tinkatuff make for great teammates.

Whiscash is a defensive entry hazard setter with great typing and solid bulk. Stealth Rock is formidable form of entry hazard since it can help chip common foes such as Misdreavus, Choice Scarf Rotom-Frost Rotom-F, and Guts Squawkabilly (squawk isn't common at all anymore.). However, even though Spikes doesn't affect the aforementioned Pokemon, it does better at hitting Rock resistant opponents such as Tinkatuff, Gabite, and Alolan Dugtrio. Earth Power helps wear down foes like Lumineon, Quaxwell, and Mareanie, whereas its other coverage slots cannot. (you don't have to explain earth power, it's sort of just a stab move that doesn't do anything noteworthy.) Ice Beam is great for doing a chunk of damage on Gogoat, Flapple, and Sawsbuck. The latter two which may try to switch in on Whiscash if expecting an entry hazard move. Surf is an option over Ice Beam, with the tradeoff being that it better damages neutral targets instead of hitting the previously mentioned foes. Stone Edge is great in the last slot to cover the likes of Charizard, Articuno and Masquerain. Spikes can be opted for instead to compress both forms of entry hazards into one Pokemon, possibly freeing up another team slot. Protect is used for scouting and gaining a bit more recovery when running Leftovers, however, it is not very useful when running the more popular Heavy-Duty Boots. In an entry hazard heavy metagame, Heavy-Duty Boots is great for avoiding damage extra damage which in turn gives Whiscash the ability to have more longevity. Oblivious makes Whiscash very difficult to stop from setting up entry hazards by Taunt users. Whiscash having a 4x weakness to Grass makes Tera Poison great for removing this problem. Tera Ghost turns it into a spinblocker when in a pinch. There is the option to run 252 Def and a compatible nature over 252 SpD to help better deal with the likes of Alolan Dugtrio, Crabominable, and Honchkrow. Although, you lose out on having Charizard's Hurricane and Rotom-Frost's Blizzard being a 3HKO.

Balance and entry hazard stacking teams appreciate the presence of Whiscash. It appreciates spinblockers like Misdreavus and Banette to keep up its Stealth Rocks and/or Spikes. Gogoat, Skuntank, and Charizard pair well with Whiscash, helping it deal with the likes of Flapple, Sawsbuck, and Leafeon. (maybe a nitpick, but i don't see why not to just call them grass-types.) It also really dislikes Freeze Dry from Articuno or Glaceon, but teammates like Tinkatuff, Perrserker, and Rotom-Frost can help with this issue. Its presence as an Electric-immune is superb as it has the typing and bulk to take hits from the coverage moves that Pokemon like Raichu, Rotom-Frost, and Electrode carry. (as is this isn't really a teammate recommendation, relate it to like elec weaks or remove it.) Dachsbun, Articuno, and Carbink all benefit from Whiscash as it can take hits from Perrserker and Alolan Dugtrio for them. Also, Dartrix and Gogoat really appreciate its help with taking on the likes of Skuntank, Charizard, and Houndoom. With a lot of the tier being weak or neutral to Rock, Whiscash finds itself having the typing to help the likes of Charizard, Masquerain, and Rabsca avoid dealing with Lycanroc, Dugtrio, and Gabite. Even with all the investment in its Special Defense, Whiscash finds itself being able to handle some of these physical attackers as well. Its move coverage allows it to hit majority of the tier for super effective damage, making it very difficult for most teams to handle if they don't bring along a check or counter. (the info in this bolded section isn't important enough to spend time talking about here, this paragraph should be about teammates.) It does find a lot of trouble handling Misdreavus, as its bulk is very hard to get past without hitting it for super effectively. This is why being paired with a Dark-type like Skuntank or Alolan Persian can be beneficial. Since Whiscash doesn't have recovery, it really doesnt like taking Will-O-Wisp from said Misdreavus, and Charizard, or Toxic from Skuntank. That being said, status absorbers like RestTalk Gabite (these two don't really have great synergy, wouldn't use it as an example. something like chansey could replace it.), Dragonair, and Tinkatuff make for great teammates.

The latter two which may try to switch in on Whiscash if expecting an entry hazard move. all 3 of these are able to consistently switch into Whiscash I'm unsure why you only specified the latter two. Surf is an option over Ice Beam, with the tradeoff being that it better damages neutral targets instead of hitting the previously mentioned foes. Stone Edge is great in the last slot to cover the likes of Charizard, while preventing setup sweepers like Rotom-Frost and Masquerain from taking advantage of your relative passivity. Spikes can be opted for instead to compress both forms of entry hazards into one Pokemon, possibly freeing up another team slot. Protect is used for scouting and gaining a bit more recovery when running Leftovers, however, it is not very useful when running the more popular Heavy-Duty Boots. In an entry hazard heavy metagame, Heavy-Duty Boots is great for avoiding damage extra damage which in turn gives Whiscash the ability to have more longevity. this is fluff, Boots give every Pokemon in the game longevity Oblivious makes Whiscash very difficult to stop from setting up entry hazards by Taunt users. It's not "very difficult" it's literally impossible, Oblivious makes Taunt fail. I would rewrite this like "Oblivious is the preferred Ability for Whiscash, allowing it to setup hazards even against Taunt users. Whiscash having a 4x weakness to Grass makes Tera Poison great for removing this problem, with the added benefit of absorbing Toxic Spikes. Tera Ghost turns it into a spinblocker when in a pinch. Even with all the investment in its Special Defense, Whiscash finds itself being able to handle some of these physical attackers as well give examples of physical attackers that overwhelm it here, some examples that come to my mind are CB Basculin, Crabominable, and Zangoose. Its move coverage allows it to hit majority of the tier for super effective damage, making it very difficult for most teams to handle if they don't bring along a check or counter. Also fluff and not really true? Whiscash is a weak uninvested attacker, the natural coverage is nice but it's not exactly mowing teams down ever. There is the option to run 252 Def and a compatible nature over 252 SpD to help better deal with the the physical attackers like Alolan Dugtrio, Crabominable, and Honchkrow. Although, you lose out on having Charizard's Hurricane and Rotom-Frost's Blizzard being a 3HKO. You lose to these Pokemon long-term anyway, I would always just stick to the SDef sets.

Balance and entry hazard stacking teams appreciate the presence of Whiscash. fluff, all teams appreciate entry hazards. It Whiscash appreciates spinblockers like Misdreavus and Banette to keep up its Stealth Rocks and/or Spikes against Rapid Spin users like Carkoal and Quaxwell always good to give examples. Gogoat, Skuntank, and Charizard pair well with Whiscash, helping it deal with Grass-types like Flapple, Sawsbuck, and Leafeon. It also really dislikes Freeze Dry from Articuno or Glaceon, but teammates like Tinkatuff, Perrserker, and Rotom-Frost can help with this issue. This was good but Articuno is now in NU, and I don't think it's worth mentioning this JUST for Glaceon because it's not too common anyway. Its presence as an Electric-immune to help the likes of Masquerain and Honchkrow is superb as it has the typing and bulk to take hits from the coverage moves that Pokemon like Raichu, Rotom-Frost, and Electrode carry. Dachsbun, Articuno Crabominable, and Carbink all benefit from Whiscash as it can take hits from Perrserker and Alolan Dugtrio for them. Also, Dartrix and Gogoat really appreciate its help with taking on the likes Fire- and Poison-types like Skuntank, Charizard, and Houndoom. With a lot of the tier being weak or neutral to Rock, Whiscash finds itself having the typing to help the likes of Charizard, Masquerain, and Rabsca avoid dealing with Lycanroc, Dugtrio, and Gabite. Even with all the investment in its Special Defense, Whiscash finds itself being able to handle some of these physical attackers as well. contradicts the point you made earlier Its move coverage allows it to hit majority of the tier for super effective damage, making it very difficult for most teams to handle if they don't bring along a check or counter. you said this exact thing in the above paragraph as well. It does find a lot of trouble handling Misdreavus, as its bulk is very hard to get past without hitting it for super effectively. This is why being paired with a Dark-type like Skuntank or Alolan Persian can be beneficial. Since Whiscash doesn't have recovery, it really doesnt like taking Will-O-Wisp from said Misdreavus, and Charizard, or Toxic from Skuntank. That being said, status absorbers like Chansey, Dragonair, and Tinkatuff make for great teammates. If you're able to compress all the typing synergy Whiscash provides that would be great, you wrote a bit much that can be compressed into something like "Whiscash appreciates Charizard and Honchkrow's ability to deal with Grass-types, in return it can take on the Rock- and Electric-types like Choice Scarf Lycanroc and Electrode respectively. Grass-types like Gogoat and Dartrix also make for great teammates as Whiscash can take on Fire- and Poison-types like Charizard, Houndoom, and Skuntank that threaten them." This can be worded a couple different ways but the way you have the sentences laid out for each and every individual type matchup interaction is quite superfluous.

Ice Beam is great for doing a chunk of damage on Grass-types like Gogoat, Flapple, and Sawsbuck. (i think dartrix should be mentioned over one of the last two grasses, ice beam means it can't switch on you and defog for free.) (perrserker yeah, the others not really. you could honestly just delete this sentence, it doesn't add much and isn't generally true.) (it's probably worth explaining why running spdef is better than physdef, since i think both are viable and i'm sure others agree/might wonder why there's no mention of possible physdef sets.)

Whiscash appreciates spinblockers like Misdreavus and Banette (use something like spiritomb as an example instead, banette is not v relevant atm.) to keep up its Stealth Rocks and/or Spikes hazards against Rapid Spin users like Quaxwell and Carkoal (UR mon now, stick with just quax.).
