i didn't mind it. it was more stream of consciousness / rant Chappelle than a standup routine, but that's basically what i expected going into it and i quite like the style. i don't care about his terf views as much as i should. i just see him as your relatively average 50ish year old when it comes to societal changes not directly related to black people. i guess i don't really know what people expected him to say that would make sense given everything we already knew about him. the outrage over this special is especially confusing to me because his views on trans people are not new, so why wait until now to make an example out of him. it's reactive and comes off as meaningless. the majority of non trans people are going to forget about that tweet they made saying #translivesmatter in a couple of weeks when something else becomes popular. anyway, those are my thoughts. the daphne dorman story was very sad. i was definitely not expecting it and he clearly had a lot of love for her. it's just too bad he seemed to use her as the token trans person for his jokes.
also space jews had me dying
