eternatus.gif

Pokemon: Eternatus
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Choice Specs, Hazards, Defensive Pivot, Choice Scarf
Type:
Dragon.png
Poison.png

Abilities:
Pressure
Stat Distribution: 105 / 60 / 90 / 110 / 90 / 145 (600 BST)
Movepool Additions: Knock Off, Outrage, Dragon Claw, Dark Pulse
Movepool Removals: Cosmic Power
Custom Elements: Using Eternabeam transforms Eternatus into Eternatus-Eternamax. Does not work retroactively. Eternabeam is now Dark-type. Heals HP in the same manner as Zygarde's Power Construct.
Justification: It's literally just a toned down Eternatus. We know what this does. Walled to hell and back by Walrein and Cursola, struggles against stuff like Orbeetle, Drizzle Dhelmise, Aerodactyl. Outspeeds and switches in on Cherrim, which is always appreciated. Great speed control for teams, and is spooky to play against courtesy of what it can become if given a few free turns...
eternatus-eternamax.gif

Pokemon: Eternatus-Eternamax
Roles: Special Wall, Physical Wallbreaker, Mixed Wall, Hazards
Type:
Dragon.png
Dark.png

Abilities:
Pure Power
Stat Distribution: 215 / 60 / 90 / 110 / 90 / 115 (680 BST)
Justification: You transform into this monster. Before you go screaming broken (215/90/90 bulk with recover and effective 160ish attack?), remember how this functions- You have to devote a moveslot to godawful Eternabeam, fire it off safely, and then survive the recharge turn. If you pull that off, though, you have a pretty damn chunky lad at your disposal. Given, it's stuck with 3 moveslots so you're either giving up recovery/a STAB or accepting you're walled by all fairies for eternity. Leads me to think a defensive set with Knock/Eternabeam/Toxic/Recover or something along those lines will be better. Regardless, isn't nearly as threatening as it looks and is pretty difficult to actually get on the field. Should be fun to try to see how people maneuver around fairies in order to safely play it, though. A late-game defensive wincon!

zamazenta.gif

Pokemon: Zamazenta
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Choice Scarf
Type:
Fighting.png
1583987372215-png.227144

Abilities: Intimidate
Stats: 92 / 120 / 115 / 80 / 115 / 108 (630 BST)
Movepool Additions: Knock Off, U-Turn, Spikes, Parting Shot, Toxic, Drain Punch
Movepool Removals: Psychic Fangs
Custom Elements: If holding Rusted Shield, transforms into Zamazenta-Crowned the first time it is sent out (Intimidate still triggers).
Justification: Resub? What? The counterpart to Zacian, trading speed and power for some more bulk and a better typing to check Stonjourner with. It's also something for Zacian to check, finally. It also checks Gumshoos, Dhelmise, and Necrozma. Should be a great asset for Offense to handle Stonjourner and finally ease the whole "wait this just loses to Stonjourner" vibe we have going on right now.
zamazenta-crowned.gif

Pokemon: Zamazenta-Crowned
Roles: Defensive Pivot, Hazards
Type:
Fighting.png
Steel.png

Abilities: Dauntless Shield
Stats: 92 / 120 / 145 / 80 / 145 / 98 (680 BST)
Justification: I originally gave this thing Body Press, but then I did some calcs and decided against it. Shit's stupid powerful. Anyways, Zamazenta-Crowned functions chiefly as a defensive pivot that sets spikes, slaps stuff with decently powered STABs, or switches out with U-Turn/Parting Shot. Another defensive Steel that hard-checks Stonjourner (Superpower still hurts, though) and boasts the most raw bulk by far, but lacks recovery.

drifblim.gif

Pokemon: Drifblim
Roles: Hazard Control, Set-up Sweeper, Hazard Deterrent, Stallbreaker, Mixed Wall
Type:
Ghost.png
Dark.png

Abilities:
Levitate / Malware | Contrary
Stats: 190 / 111 / 48 / 111 / 63 / 87 (610 BST)
Movepool Additions: Vicious Mockery, Superpower, Darkest Lariat, Mystical Fire, Power Trip
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: A submission designed to control the flow of the hazards game- Possesses Defog itself, but also discourages opposing Defogs due to Contrary boosting evasion (the only acceptable form of evasion boosting). Ghost typing blocks Rapid Spin from Torkoal and Dhelmise. Also has Strength Sap to sustain itself, but the low HP prevents it from being a truly reliable healing option. Cool tech is that Magic Bounce bounces back Strength Sap, boosting Drifblim further and indirectly nerfing the (apparently) very good Necrozma. Held back by how it's forced to go mixed a lot of the time and has pretty subpar bulk before boosting. I was inspired to make this sub after seeing how subpar the hazard control options were, either due to better options in movepool (Dunsparce, Togekiss) or lack of splashability (Weezing).

Form Changer #1:
877.png
877-h.png

Name of the Pokemon: Morpeko
Role(s): Sweeper, Pivot
Type: Electric/Fire
Abilities: Hunger Switch
Stat Distribution: 58/95/78/50/78/127 (Total: 486)
Movepool Additions: Plasma Wheel*, Ember, Fire Blast, Flame Charge, Flame Wheel, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Overheat, Sunny Day, Will-O-Wisp
Movepool Removals: Aura Wheel, Assurance, Dark Pulse, Parting Shot, Payback, Power Trip, Quash, Snarl, Torment
Custom Elements:
Plasma Wheel
Type: Electric/Physical
BP: 110
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
Effect: In Full Belly Mode, it is Electric-type and raises the user's Speed. In Hangry Mode, it is Fire-type and raises the user's Attack.

Justification: Morpeko is extremely fast and has decent Attack, and can use its signature Plasma Wheel to boost both its Attack and Speed in addition to doing significant amounts of damage. With a diverse movepool that includes moves such as Crunch, Ice Fang, Outrage, Rapid Spin, Seed Bomb, Stomping Tantrum, and Super Fang, Morpeko can rip through some of the toughest walls and potentially sweep entire teams. However, Morpeko is kept from being too powerful by the inconsistency of Plasma Wheel, its frail defenses, and its common weaknesses, including a quadruple weakness to Ground-type attacks. Morpeko is still a legitimate threat that everyone needs to be prepared for, but some clever counterplay can drastically reduce the impact it has.

Form Changer #2:
452.png
452.png

Name of the Pokemon: Drapion
Role(s): Sandstorm-based form changer
Type:
Standard form: Poison/Dark
Desert King form: Poison/Ground
Abilities: Sand Crown
Stat Distribution:
Standard: 70/100/120/60/95/105 (Total: 550)
Desert King: 70/140/130/50/115/125 (Total: 630)
Movepool Additions: None
Movepool Removals: None
Custom Elements:
Sand Crown: Changes the user into Desert King Form if Sandstorm is in effect. In Desert King Form, the user cannot use any attacks unless they inflict direct damage.

Justification: Drapion's Desert King Form looks terrifying and can be a real menace if successfully set up. The key term there is if. For starters, Sandstorm needs to be in effect in order to achieve its Desert King Form, and if it is in that form, Drapion can't use any status attacks, ergo it can't set up Toxic Spikes or Swords Dance. It also has to rely on Black Sludge for recovery, which means it wouldn't be able to use a Choice item or Life Orb. And as soon as the weather changes or the Sandstorm subsides, Drapion reverts back to its Standard Form (which isn't nearly as interesting). So it's very strong, but not exactly brainless.

Free Sub: (resubbing my Umbreon with a couple of modifications):
197.png

Name of the Pokemon: Umbreon
Role(s): Stallbreaker, Hazard Control, Pivot
Type: Ice/Poison
Abilities: Magic Guard (Hidden: Slush Rush)
Stat Distribution: 95/135/85/60/140/70 (Total: 585)
Movepool Additions: Aurora Blade, Clear Smog, Defog, Gunk Shot, Parting Shot, Poison Fang, Poison Jab, Toxic Spikes, Aurora Veil, Blizzard, Hail, Haze, Ice Beam, Ice Fang, Ice Shard, Icy Wind, Fire Fang, Thunder Fang
Movepool Removals: Assurance, Foul Play, Throat Chop
Custom Elements:
Aurora Blade
Type: Ice/Physical
BP: 90
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
Effect: Taunts the foe, preventing it from using attacks that don't inflict direct damage.

Justification: In spite of its terrible typing and its base stats being all over the place, Umbreon can be a surprisingly potent threat. Magic Guard makes Umbreon impossible to wear down with status conditions or hazards (and it also absorbs Toxic Spikes), and its signature Aurora Blade both inflicts damage and Taunt, giving Stall teams a great deal of trouble. Alternatively, Umbreon can use Slush Rush to take advantage of its boosted Speed in Hail along with Parting Shot or Aurora Blade to outspeed and impact many setup sweepers. Although Umbreon has a lot of interesting tricks up its sleeve, it's not without its flaws - most notably its 5 weaknesses, most of which are common types. Also, although it can perform multiple roles very effectively, it isn't much of a role compressor since it can't really perform more than one at a time. So it's best to decide which role you want Umbreon to play and build it specifically to do that particular role.

Name of the Pokemon: Minior
Roles:
Meteor Only: Hazard Setter, Dual Screens
Wind Set: Wind Setter, Wind Abuser
Type: Flying
Abilities: Astral Body
Stat Distribution:
Meteor Forme:
80/20/150/90/150/70 (BST 570)
Core Forme: 80/50/80/150/80/130 (BST 570)
Movepool Additions: Hurricane, Air Slash, G-Max Wind Rage, Thunderbolt, Fire Blast, Windy Day, Spikes
Movepool Removals: Stone Edge, Shell Smash, Rock Polish
Custom Elements:
Windy Day: Sets Delta Stream's heavy wind on the battlefield for 5 turns.. Float Stone as a held item makes it last for 8 turns instead.
Heavy wind is now overriden by other forms of weather.
Astral Body: Activates Core Forme only when heavy wind is active. Meteor Forme reactivates upon heavy wind petering out.
Hurricane: Bypasses accuracy checks while heavy wind is active.
G-Max Wind Rage: 90 BP, 15 PP, functions the same (removes all active hazards and screens)
Justification:
Meteor Only:
Excellent defenses, access to screens and two hazards make Minior ideal for a lead. A unique tool in its kit is G-Max Wind Rage, which punishes opponents for trying to set up on Minior at the cost of also removing its own hazards and screens.
Wind Sets: Minior is a powerful lead, able to set up without fear of being set up on thanks to G-Max Wind Rage and spiral out of control quickly with the powerful weather it has access to, heavy wind. Minior's unfortunate 80/80/80 defenses in Core Forme are made up for not only its blistering Speed, but by the fact that under heavy wind, Flying type has no weaknesses, letting it take hits it couldn't otherwise such as Octillery's Ice Beam or Runerigus's Thunderbolt, and strong STAB combined with access to Autotomize lets it punch holes in teams or set up for others such as Togekiss to shine on offense, because Ground definitely doesn't have enough dedicated checks in CS2 yet and Flying definitely needs to be the new meta-defining type.

Name of the Pokemon: Sawsbuck
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Choice Scarf, Physical Wall, Cleric
Type:
By default, or if it's in another Forme and uses a Fairy-type move:
Normal/Fairy
If it uses a Grass-type move: Normal/Grass
If it uses a Ghost-type move: Normal/Ghost
If it uses an Ice-type move: Normal/Ice
Abilities: Circadian
Stat Distribution: 95/125/110/80/100/105 (BST 615)
Movepool Additions: Play Rough, Trop Kick, Shadow Bone, Icicle Crash, High Jump Kick, Wish
Movepool Removals: Camouflage (none of this type changing code fuckery in my house)
Custom Elements: Circadian: Sawsbuck enters the field Normal/Fairy type, but can change to Grass, Ghost or Ice type and back to Fairy type by using moves of those types.
Justification: Sawsbuck is a strong offensive presence, with good coverage, type changing to adapt to situations, and powerful stats to back it up. It has a much-coveted strong matchup against Stonjourner with Grass and Ghost offensive sets and counters Gumshoos and Snorlax with an Ice set. However, Sawsbuck's bulk is not excellent, certainly not enough to handle many hits with an atrocious defensive type like Normal/Ice. Another draw from Sawsbuck is a Ghost-type defensive set. With defensive investment and utility like Aromatherapy, it can take full advantage of this stellar defensive type, with the only drawback being that it has to use Shadow Bone or Shadow Ball to really get going. The metagame lacks strong offensive Dark-types, which are Sawsbuck-Ghost's only weakness.

Name of the Pokemon: Tangrowth
Role(s): Hazard Control, Physical Wall, Bulk Up User
Type: Grass/Fighting
Abilities: Regenerator/Tangling Hair/Sheer Force
Stat Distribution: 140/125/100/75/85/60 (BST 585)
Movepool Additions: Rapid Spin, Trop Kick, Superpower, Drain Punch, Bulk Up
Movepool Removals: Stun Spore, Sleep Powder, Toxic
Custom Elements: N/A
Justification: A resistance to Rock and moves to hit both Dubwool and Seismitoad for huge damage mean that Tangrowth is easily capable of keeping rocks off the battlefield, and thanks to Regenerator it's a handy counter to Spikes as well. Its usefulness lies beyond hazard control, as it wields utility such as Knock Off, Ingrain and Bulk Up. However, it is crucial to make sure the enemy has no Togekiss, or a dead one, before sending it out, as one Oblivion Wing in Tangrowth's defensive weak spot is a death sentence. (Resubbing this because I'm quite proud of it. It lost because of very strong competition from Dunsparce but I think it's got a chance this time around.)

As always, reply with criticism or concerns. Especially here because I wrote these at 2 a.m.

Name of the Pokemon: Furfrou
Role(s): Sweeper, Offensive Pivot, Hazard Remover
Type: Pharaoh
Dragon.png
, Dandy
Dark.png
, Star
Psychic.png
, Diamond
Steel.png

Abilities: Fashionable Fur
Stat Distribution: 105/110/90/110/90/115 | 620
Movepool Additions: Swords Dance, Multi-Attack, High Horse Power, Parting Shot, Defog, Flash Cannon
Custom Elements: Fashionable Fur: This Pokemon switches its type depending on the held Memory (only works with Dragon, Dark, Psychic and Steel). On switch-in, one of this Pokemon stats is raised depending on the held Memory (Dragon: Accuracy, Dark: Special Defense, Psychic: Speed, Steel: Defense). (Intrepid Sword+RKS System) Since regular Furfrou isn't submitted, Furfrou needs to hold a memory to be used in CS2!
Justification:
Furfrou serves the same niche as Silvally did in SMZU as a Trick/Koff absorber that can Defog, U-turn and SD, but has no recovery at all.
Pharaoh has the less interesting stat boost, but is probably the most threatening thanks to its perfect coverage in Multi Attack, High Horse Power and Iron Tail. It is also a great offensive check to Cherrim.
Dandy is probably the best late game cleaner because it has STAB Sucker Punch. However it lacks the coverage to break through common Dark-resists like Zacian and Dunsparce.
Star is the one with objectively the worst type but has the best stat boost in Speed. It is technically the fastest Pokemon in the tier and can threaten most offensive Pokemon with its powerful Multi Attack. However, Star lacks coverage and is easily walled.
Diamond has the best defensive typing and is a great Stonjourner and Necrozma check. It fits very well with WishPass Dunsparce, and can probably fit in most balance or bulky offense.
Overall, every Furfrou form can find a niche in the metagame and none outclasses another mon (Victreebel has recovery and is stronger than Pharaoh but slower, Necrozma has Magic Bounce and wider coverage than Dandy but is slower and doesn't have priority, Necrozma has Dark-STAB over Star against far more Speed, and nothing competes with Diamond for its role). Also 3 of them are checked by Zacian, which really needs a boost in viability.

Movepool Additions: Recover, Aurasphere, Ice Beam, Close Combat, Icicle Crash, Ice Punch, Vacuum Wave
Movepool Removal: Calm Mind, Belly Drum
Custom Elements: Zen Mode: If this Pokemon is a Darmanitan-Zen, at the beginning of every turn (Priority +6), if it uses a physical attacking move, it changes to Galar form and if it uses a special attacking move it changes to Unova form. (Stance Change clone)
Justification: Darmanitan-Zen is a bit like Aegislash in OU, where you have to guess if it is a Special or Physical wallbreaker. The Unova form reminds Conkeldurr with its insane wallbreaking power and strong priority move, backed up by a solid bulk. Whereas the Galar form is frailer but far faster. The Galar form really appreciate starting at Unova form since it allows it to take neutral damage from SR as well as come on stronger hits. This is counterbalanced by a objectively worse offensive typing (walled by Fire and Water type naturally).

Stat Distribution: 90/100/130/45/110/105 | 580
Movepool Additions: Earthquake, Earth Power, Bulldoze, First Impression, U-turn, Knock Off, Lunge
Custom Elements: Wimp Out: This Pokemon switches out at the end of each full turn on the field. (Wimp Out+Speed Boost)
Justification: Wimpod's main appeal is the insane momentum that it generates thanks to Wimp Out. Wimpod can most notably use Choice Band without drawback, since it is impossible to punish it locking in the wrong move. Wimpod can easily force out faster Pokemon with First Impression, thus it can easily generate momentum. It can also pivot with Spikes, meaning it can be hard to remove Wimpod's Spikes. However Wimpod's Attack is low even with a Choice Band, which means most defensive Pokemon can easily take a hit from Wimpod. Additionally, there are plenty First Impression resists in CS2, which limits Wimpod's revenge killing capacities and uses of First Impression. Furthermore, while Ground/Bug can hit most of the tier for at least neutral damage, it is completely walled by Flying type such as Togekiss and Aerodactyl. It is also noticeable, that thanks to Wimp Out and unlike other Ground- or Bug-types, Wimpod can't be trapped by Togekiss.

Justification:
(still) Outspeeding the entire neutral metagame, Accelgor is a prime Pokemon to set up Sticky Web. It's Bug/Ice typing makes it sort of a fill-in for vanilla Galvantula, having an offensive presence but also the ability to set up Sticky Web. it's defensive presence, however, is poor, meaning Accelgor doesnt really want to run Recover out of move moves probably doing more than 50% to it.

Vanilla Arceus is already a strong Ubers Pokemon, with the versatility to pull off numerous different forms. Arceus in Clean Slate, however, is limited to 4 forms, Normal, Electric, Flying, and Fighting. Each form can pull off different sets and roles.
Fighting: Filling in Fighting slots, being the 2nd Fighting type. cleans up a good amount of Rock- and Steel-type mons we have
Electric: Electric terrain setter with strong Judgements to boot, could potentially lead to having a Surge Surfer mon in the future
Flying: Weather neutralizer with Ground immunity, heavily crippling Cherrim and Victreebel and the rare Sand Aerodactyl

Name of the Pokemon: Deoxys-Attack
Roles: Special Wallbreaker, Physical Wallbreaker, Hazard Control
Type:

Abilities: Limber / Pressure / Analytic
Stat Distribution: 60 / 140 / 60 / 140 / 60 / 140 (600 BST)
Movepool Additions: Aura Sphere, Cross Chop, Dazzling Gleam, Photon Geyser, Power Gem, Psyshock, Defog
Movepool Removals: Extreme Speed, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Nasty Plot, Ice Beam
Justification: Deoxys-A is an extremely powerful wallbreaker that easily crushers foes like Weezing, Dubwool, Walrein and Runerigus due to its fantastic offensive typing and nuclear attack stats. It can easily run both physical and special sets, making foes like Galarian Weezing toast if it invests in Defense instead of Special Defense, and vice versa. It also carries a boatload of coverage for any pokemon that would otherwise wall it, like Knock Off and Dark Pulse for Orbeetle and Dhelmise, Dazzling Gleam for Necrozma and Flash Cannon and Poison Jab for Dunsparce. Analytic also discourages switch-ins, lest you want to get smacked with a powerful attack. However, this pokemon's defenses are awful, so much so that even Cursola can KO it. It also is extremely weak to priority from Gumshoos and gets trapped by Togekiss.
deoxys-defense.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Deoxys-Defense (transforms if it contains Recover in its moveset)
Roles: Mixed Wall, Hazard Control, Status Spreader
Type:
Poison.png
/
Steel.png

Abilities: Poison Touch / Pressure / Filter
Stat Distribution: 100 / 50 / 150 / 50 / 150 / 80 (580 BST)
Justification: The opposite of Deoxys-A, Deoxys-D is a formidable wall that easily takes on foes like Stonjourner, Victreebel without EQ, Necrozma and Zacian. Its high defenses and great defensive typing combined with Filter allow it for plenty of chances to Defog hazards from foes like Gligar and Necrozma. Add that with reliable recovery and you got a tough pokemon to crack. Well, not entirely. Its typing leaves it with a huge weakness to Ground and Fire, even factoring in Filter. Its offensive stats are pathetic, even lower than Orbeetle's, leaving it extremely susceptible to Taunt from Gligar and other foes.

Name of the Pokemon: Groudon
Roles: Sand Abuser, Special Wallbreaker, Hazards
Type:

/
Dragon.png

Ability: Sand Rush
Stat Distribution: 95 / 90 / 100 / 135 / 95 / 85 (600 BST)
Movepool Additions: Draco Meteor, Fire Lash, Flare Blitz, Pyro Ball
Movepool Removal: Swords Dance
Justification: Groudon has a surprisingly decent special movepool for a physical attacker, so I focused on that. Sand Rush allows Groudon to overcome its otherwise poor speed and outspeed foes like Runerigus, Scolipede and Togekiss. It also gives Aerodactyl a useful partner to take of the Steel, Rock and Electric types that otherwise give it problems, in exchange for Aerodactyl taking care of foes like Snorlax-Gmax and Octillery. Its typing also is a huge boon for it, as in addition to its offensive capabilities, it can switch in on pokes like Cherrim, Scolipede and Runerigus and threaten them with its STAB. However, its typing leaves it very weak to foes like Octillery, Zacian (thank god), and Dunsparce (which it cannot even threaten). If not in sand, it also can be revenge killed pretty easily due to its low speed. Lastly, it faces competition from Gumshoos and Seismitoad for an offensive Ground-type, as they have higher power and better bulk, however Groudon has a better typing, is faster, and has a second from for added unpredictability. Speaking of...
groudon-primal.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Groudon-Primal (triggered by holding Red Orb, like in vanilla)
Roles: Physical Wall, Phazer, Hazards
Type:
Ground.png
/
Fire.png

Ability: Desolate Land
Stat Distribution: 95 / 115 / 140 / 115 / 125 / 90 (680 BST)
Justification: Like regular PDon, except sacrificing offensive stats for bulk. This high bulk and typing allows it to take on threats like Octillery, Zacian and Cursola if it is physically-based. It also allows it to use its utility options more, such as Roar, which serves it as a check to troublesome sweepers like Necrozma, Octillery and Stonjourner. While it has higher bulk than normal Groudon, it still has a few problems, mainly that it is still weak to Ground-types like Seismitoad, Gumshoos and Snorlax-Gmax. Victreebel outspeeds PDon naturally and KOes it with Earthquake. Due to a lack of recovery, Toxic is also very troublesome for it, as it will gradually whittle down its health and make it easier to be revenge killed.
obstagoon.gif

Name of this Pokemon: Obstagoon
Roles: Set-Up Sweeper, Priority
Type:
Dark.png
/
Fighting.png

Abilities: Pickpocket / Defiant / Scrappy
Stat Distribution: 82 / 100 / 77 / 54 / 88 / 94 (495 BST)
Movepool Addition: Mach Punch, Belly Drum
Movepool Removals: Cross Poison, Gunk Shot
Justification: Rembember when Galarian Linoone and its evolutions were announced but got disappointed due to the lack of Belly Drum and Extreme Speed? Well, one wish has now come true, and that is the addition of Belly Drum in its movepool. Belly Drum turns a laughably weak pokemon into a strong powerful force, and thanks to Scrappy, not even Ghosts like Cursola can stop him. Knock Off and Close Combat offer great offensive coverage together and can take care of many pokemon, including Stonjourner, Dhelmise, Walrein and Runerigus. Mach Punch also allows it to pick off speedy threats like Cherrim and Aerodactyl. While this may seem broken at first due to a great offensive typing, its typing is terrible defensively, giving it big weakness to the desperate-for-usage Zacian, Dunsparce, and Weezing-Galar due to it being completely unable to break through them. Its defenses are also terrible, making it hard to switch in on even neutral hits, and its speed without Mach Punch is also nothing to write home about, meaning it doesn't really get many opportunities to switch in and sweep. Lastly, it is extremely weak to trapping from Togekiss. However, if you're careful with it, you are looking at something that can have to potential to sweep your team.

Ability (Pirouette):
Quick Feet
Ability (Aria): Psychic Surge
Stat Distribution (Pirouette): 75 / 110 / 120 / 140 / 80 / 105 | 630 BST
Stat Distribution (Aria): 75 / 70 / 75 / 175 / 130 / 105 | 630 BST
Movepool Additions: Aura Sphere, Moonblast, Draining Kiss
Movepool Removals: Energy Ball, Grass Knot, Thunderbolt, Thunder,
Custom Elements: Relic Song - Fairy type - No longer has a 10% chance to cause Sleep
Justification:
- Starts in Pirouette form
- Relic Song tranforms you into a monstrously powerful form, functioning like a double-edged setup move that deals chip damage
- Quick Feet gives some interesting sweeping potential. It also gives a reason to switch back out of Aria Form, if it gets statused; Relic Song is pretty strong from Aria Form, and Piriouette would then be able to take advantage of Psychic Terrain, so it could it work.

Movepool Additions: Rapid Spin, Knock Off, Dark Pulse, U-turn, First Impression, Lunge, Bug Buzz, Overdrive, Smart Strike, Substitute, Protect, Rest, Sleep Talk
Justification:
- Dark/Bug type helps prevent spin blocking, so it provides many options for teams with multiple hazards to keep their own side clear
- Three new reasons for Zacian to exist, three checks to Necrozma
- P Forme: Powerful special attacker with Punk Rock boosted Bug Buzz and Overdrive. Pair that with Dark STAB to hit ghosts and you have a good offensive spinner.
- S Forme: Speed Control pivot that can go for Choice Band for powerful U-turns, or run a Life Orb mixed set to nail Stonjourner thanks to Sheer Force. Lunge is a useful boosted STAB either way.
- M Forme: Bulky offensive tank that abuses Magic Guard + Life Orb to put some sting in its First Impression.

drifblim.gif

Every time I try to post Tangrowth a mod just blows me out of the fuckin water. Look at this, poetry in motion

Sub review. Keep in my mind, this is just my opinion.
:zamazenta: Judgement Day is a far to strong as an ability, and allows Zamazenta to easily snowball offensive teams since they are unable to revenge kill it. I believe the ability needs a total rework, because I don't see anyway of balancing it outside of turning Zamazenta into a very frail Pokemon.
Also please run calc for the Pokemon you call checks:
+1 252 Atk Life Orb Zamazenta Iron Head vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Zacian: 343-406 (105.5 - 124.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Zamazenta Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Victreebel: 520-614 (144 - 170%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Zamazenta Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Stonjourner: 296-348 (77.6 - 91.3%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Zamazenta Iron Head vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Weezing-Galar: 252-299 (66.1 - 78.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery (remember Weezing-G doesn't have recovery, so getting 30% on it isn't very unlikely)
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Zamazenta Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Snorlax-Gmax: 413-487 (82.1 - 96.8%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
As you see Zamazenta doesn't really have defensive answers. This would be fine if it wasn't that bulky and fast (especially with an ability that basically double its Defense and Special Defense after it scored a KO). My advice would to completely rework the ability to allow Choice Scarfer to revenge kill it, because now only Scarf Zacian can do this (and Scarf Gleam Togekiss, which would only run this move for Zamazenta). Also do something about its wallbreaking power, because as you see there is no defensive answers to it.
:zamazenta-crowned: I don't see any reason to use this at all. Walrein and Dhelmise are also defensive Steel-types, but have reliable recovery and better utility (Walrein is also bulkier). Additionally, I don't see how it can make use of its ability. Please find a niche for it.
Idk if they are going to come back, but them leaving doesn't necessarily mean that their subs can't be vote for.
:eiscue::eiscue-noice: Broken. With Disguise it can always setup, it is the fastest Pokemon in the tier, +6 Ice Shard easily revenge kill faster Scarfers like Togekiss and Runerigus and priority users like Gumshoos. While Scarf Zacian or Stonjourner could be answers, it can just run SubSalac to beat them. So offensively it is impossible to properly check it.
Defensively it isn't much better, Weezing can take a boosted Icicle Crash, but needs to stay healthy, it still has no reliable recovery (+6 252 Atk Icicle Plate Eiscue-Noice Icicle Crash vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Weezing-Galar: 294-346 (77.1 - 90.8%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock, +6 252 Atk Eiscue-Noice Icicle Crash vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Weezing-Galar: 246-289 (64.5 - 75.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock). Walrein can easily handle Liquidation+Ice Shard, but loses to Sub+Reversal: +6 252 Atk Eiscue-Noice Reversal (100 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Walrein: 444-524 (94.6 - 111.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock, this simulates Eiscue at 15% health which is Sub+Belly Drum+Disguise broken. Dhelmise is a better defensive answer against SubReversal, but Drizzle variant takes heavy damage from +6 Liquidation (+6 252 Atk Eiscue-Noice Liquidation vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Dhelmise in Rain: 276-325 (72 - 84.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock).
Depressed Gay is ofc not going to update their submissions, but we can maybe consider removing Eiscue's access to Belly Drum and give it Swords Dance.
:wormadam::wormadam-sandy::wormadam-trash: Disguise is hardcoded for Mimikyu and I feel like Plant and Sandy were submitted as great users of it.
:stantler: This is just a better Scolipede.
:thundurus: Fine
:thundurus-therian: It is an extremely good wallbreaker, I'd just nerf slightly its Speed in order Runerigus and Aerodactyl to be able to revenge kill it. Because rn, it feels extremely difficult for offensive teams to deal with it.
:giratina: Prankster Haze on something that fat with an incredible defensive typing is imo far to much, even without reliable recovery. Stallish builds are already good with very bulky stuffs like Walrein and Corsola and Trappers like Togekiss. They don't need something as good as this.
:giratina-origin: I'd just make it a bit faster, in order it to always revenge kill Stonjourner and not fall from Superpower.
:weavile: This has no defensive switch-in. Close Combat pushes it imo over the edge, giving it the ability to 2HKO Walrein and Dubwool. Also please nerf its Attack stats, because even against not poisoned foes, Weavile's damage is insane.
:kyogre::kyogre-primal: I don't believe we need another Rain Abuser. It is already quite hard to wall Seismitoad and Torkoal rn. However, on its own the Pokemon is balanced.
:garbodor: we already talked from this on Discord and it is fine.
:keldeo::keldeo-resolute: Base Keldeo is fine. But I don't see much reason to give up on Speed to transform into Keldeo-Resolute. Sure it hits stronger, but without the added Speed it isn't going to hit much things. Also it's not like Keldeo-Resolute is going to beat stall with it loosing to every Togekiss sets (unless Shed Shell). I'd make the power gap between both forms more significant, in order to give a great reason to use the Resolute form. Also you may have forgot to remove Sacred Sword from Keldeo's movepool (just saying this because you removed every other good physical Figthing type moves).
:shaymin: Fine
:shaymin-sky: This Speed paired with Swords Dance is a bit to much for offense to check. I'd remove Swords Dance, since it could still find uses as a great utility in Healing Wish and Defog with power thanks to strong Wood Hammer and Brave Bird.
:skarmory:This monster is far to strong. It walls every physical wallbreakers outside of Stonjourner and Torkoal, special wallbreakers like Cherrim, Runerigus and Octillery can't switch safely, and thank to Taunt it isn't passive as Corsola is. Please nerf it. Make it more passive or less bulky, but right now it is just oppressive.
:raichu-alola: This feels very underwhelming. It lacks the bulk to setup and the Speed to threaten opposing walls, soi advice you to buff it.
:scrafty: Fine
:zygarde: Fine
:zygarde-10: I'm not a fan of it pressuring standard Dragon switch-in since Weezing and Zacian's viability aren't the best. You can easily find a less oppressive secondary type, that would just touch them for neutral damage.
:zygarde-complete: I'm not really convinced of this things niche. It lacks utility and reliable recovery, and seems outclassed by Dunsparce, which while being less bulky has reliable recovery and a far bigger movepool.
(can't find miniat for Kanto):meowth-alola::meowth: Fine
:meowth-gmax: I'd give it Hex in order it to abuse even more Scolipede's Poison Touch.
Also I feel like your Meowth are all very different and don't share much. I'd cut one of them, because it really feels like you subbed 4 different mon (or make them share more, for example give them all the same stats).
:vivillon: Idk if it is codable, but if is then it is fine.
:darmanitan-galar: Just let you know that nobody is going to run physical sets, even with Huge Power. They are just to weak. Also Special sets face to much competition from Octillery which has a similar coverage but also Scope-In. Darmanitan's quad weakness to SR also involves it can't forgo Boots and therefore can't run Choice item which could have been its niche over Octillery.
:kyurem:Fine, but I'm unsure if STAB E-Speed is enough for it to find a niche over Kyurem-Black.
:kyurem-black: Fine
:kyurem-white: I'd say this is mostly a worse Octillery, mostly due to Scope-In. However, Stallbreaking/Wallbreaking sets with Roost or Specs may find a niche.
I don't know if Absofusion is codable tho (maybe something with RKS System+Photo Geyser works).
:corviknight: Triage sets looks extremely oppressive. While Corviknight has two solid counters in Aerodactyl and Runerigus, if you don't have one of them, Corviknight seems unstoppable after a Nasty Plot. Imo you should remove its access to Nasty Plot.
:aegislash: Stance Change isn't a clone of an existing ability.
:flapple: Fine
:flapple-gmax: I'd buff its Attack because rn it seems quite passive, with a terrible defensive typing.
:eternatus: Fine
890-e.png
I actually have no idea how balance this is. It will depend on how hard it is to setup this thing...
:zamazenta: Fine, just like last slate
:zamazenta-crowned: Fine
:drifblim: No physical Ghost-type move? Drifblim concept on itself is also very weird. You say that hazard removal is difficult rn, and you sub the perfect Spin/Defog detterent. I find this very paradoxal. But as a Defog/Spin detterent it is totally balanced and fine.
:morpeko: Plasma Wheel seems to be to much. Morpeko is already the fastest Pokemon and has a high Attack stats, it doesn't need to have a 110 Base Power stat boosting move. Pokemon with this type of moves in standard play (Serperior, Malamar, Morpeko, ...) have low initial raw power. Thus I'd nerf a bit its Attack and Speed stats to make it more manageable (also just edit Aura Wheel, don't make a complete custom).
:drapion: Idk if shiny form changing is allowed. But even if it, is Drapion is broken. It is unstoppable under Sand: it is the fastest Pokemon available and hits extremely hard. Sand Cyclone is just a busted move, and shouldn't even exist, your Drapion just has perfect coverage with overwhelming stats.
:umbreon: Fine
:minior: Delta Stream's weather doesn't last 5 turns, it lasts as long as a Pokemon with Delta Stream is on the field or a user of Primordial See/Desolate Land doesn't activate its ability. So idk if it is codable. What does G-Max Wind Rage do? Overall Minior seems underwhelming, with 3 autoweather setters (two of them hard wall Minior) Minior will struggle to set up. Also, even under Core form, Minior is slow and not enough strong for something that needs a turn to setup. It is just not worth it. Also the meteor form is far to passive and slow to achieve anything, your hazard setter set invite every removers, and the screen setter is far to slow and outclassed by Orbeetle.
:sawsbuck: I'm not sure if it really profits from its Normal-type, but otherwise it is fine (even if I believe a small buff in all its stats would make it better while not broken). Also it doesn't look like it will run defensive sets at all (especially with Charm or without HP investment) because they don't offer much utility and Sawsbuck's bulk is to low (it will also compete with Dubwool). Sawsbuck's asset is its access to 5 STAB, therefore it can be hard to wall.
:tangrowth: Why did you get rid off Stun Spore and Toxic? It makes Tangrowth far easier to take advantage of. Also can you give it a real Fighting-STAB (Drain Punch or Body Press), because nobody is going to run Superpower on a defensive Pokemon.
:porygon2: it is far to bulky.
:gengar-gmax: This is really confusing it going from the biggest and most terrifying form to the least one by claiming KOes. I'd reverse the order, because it makes more sense to have a bulky Gengar than a weak Gmax Gengar. But this just aesthetics. On its own, the submission is great.
:accelgor: Fine
:arceus:(Normal) Competes a lot with Gumshoos, I'm not sure if you really wanted to submitt this one since you only say 4 forms. If it isn't submitt make it clearer.
:arceus: (Fyling)Probably the best one, it is fine.
:arceus: (Fire) It seems hard to justify using it when Torkoal and Cherrim exists. Defensive sets seems underwhelming with such a huge weakness to all form of hazard and no possibility of running Heavy Duty Boots.
:arceus: (Ice) It is outclassed by Octillery.
:arceus: (Bug) What does this do? It seems even worst than Scolipede.
:deoxys-attack: Please nerf it a bit, it just murders offense rn. Also Signal Beam got cut in SS.
:deoxys-defense: Cosmic Burst needs a total rework, because otherwise nobody is going to use this form. Imagine having a defensive Pokemon that needs to waste a full turn to have bulk and only has 3 moveslot. Tbh it is like Meloetta-Pirouette but worst.
:groudon: FYI Groudon is never going to outspeed Cherrim because of Drought. Under sandstorm it beats Victreebel which you mention as a check. Outside of this nitpick, it is fine.
:groudon-primal: The Pokemon is fine. But again there are mistakes in the justifications. Regular Groudon isn't weak to Water and already beats Walrein and Torkoal. There is no real surpise factor with Groudon since it automatically transforms. Victreebel naturally outspeeds Groudon and therefore doesn't use Desolate Land against it. The line about Gligar is really confusing.
:obstagoon: No. It's typing isn't that defensively awfull. If there is no answer to it once boosted, how can even believe it can be balanced? Like you said, its bulk is mediocre, but under screen it can for sure setup on weaker attackers.
:meloetta-pirouette: Fine
:meloetta: I really doubt Aria will see uses, having to setup every time it comes on the field is painful and she will be useless against anything but stall due to her low Speed.
:unown: Fine
:escavalier: Fine

Movepool Additions: Nasty Plot, Bug Buzz, Psychic Fangs, Iron Head, Pain Split, U-turn, Defog
Movepool Removals: Thousand Arrows, Thousand Waves
Custom Elements: Power Construct - If Zygarde knows the move Extreme Speed, transforms into 10% form once sent out. If Zyagarde knows the move Core Enforcer, it transforms into Complete form once sent out.
Core Enforcer - Now Physical.
Justification: Zygarde is a powerful and versatile addition to Clean Slate 2, with three different forms and each serving very distinct roles. Its base form fills the role off a much needed special sweeper, and that of an offensive ground resist. It can get off a Nasty Plot versus a large portion of the meta, and places itself as a big threat to balance bulds and offensive ones with Weak Armor + its bulk. Its 10% variant is a very speedy revenge killer, clocking 142 speed, putting it well above the rest of the tier. Its Psychic sub-typing allows it to threaten traditional Dragon type checks such as Zacian and GWeez. Zygarde Complete fills up the slot as the wall, with incredible mixed bulk. It can also fill in as a bulky sweeper, but must contend with GWeez himself.

Movepool Additions: Fire Lash, Blaze Kick, Will o Wisp, Flare Blitz, Extreme Speed, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat
Justification: Meowth serves as well needed speed control to combat the powerful sweepers and speed demons that currently inhabit the meta. It is also a good addition to Sun teams, being able to spam powerful Sun boosted Flare Blitzs, while also being a potential deterrent to them, thanks to Flash Fire and a resistance to Grass moves.

Movepool Additions: Earthquake, Bulldoze, Earth Power, Power Gem, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Grass Knot, Sludge Wave
Justification: Meowth Alola decides that instead of revenge killing offense, it much rather try its hand on trashing stall and balance. Dark Ground is a dangerous STAB combo against defensive teams, and its colourful coverage options allow it to pick off any specific targets after a Nasty Plot boost. It can also opt to go physical to lure in its checks. Not to mention, its typing and Fur Coat allows it to be able to take on Stonjourner, which is always a big plus.

Justification: SCOLIPEDE DEMANDS JUSTICE! And justice he shall get, with the god of dragons, Gigantamax Meowth! Meowth pairs well with the centipede, each of them being able to pressure their respective checks, finally finishing what anaconja sought to achieve millennia ago.
Are all 4 meowths just effectively separate mons? No item or mechanic to trigger the change? I didn't exactly envision the form change slate to be subbing 4 essentially seperate and unique mons.

Uh yeah outside of that Tuthur1 mostly said everything necessary. Thunder stolen, I guess. Voting begins in a few hours I'd reckon
