INTRODUCTION
Hey I’m KiruxOnTheFlux but you can tell me Kirux if you want. So really happy to present you my first RMT in Smogon.

BUILDING PROCESS

:cinderace::rillaboom:

So i wanna try one of the best offensif core in SS OU: Rillaboom+Cinderace. Rillaboom can easily kill Hippowdon and hit hard Toxapex with Wood Hammer and Cinderace can kill Volcarona, Amoongus, Tangrowth and Corviknight who are a good check against Rillaboom

:cinderace::rillaboom::clefable::corviknight::toxapex:

So basically i just put some go defensive mons. I really appreciate defensif core Clefable Corviknight Toxapex so i just added in my team

:cinderace::rillaboom::clefable::corviknight::toxapex::hippowdon:

I finally add a hippowdon to get a cinderace check and a good rocks setup

:Corviknight: -> :Mandibuzz:

After a lot of test I noticed that I was really weak at Ghost pokemon like Dragapult or others so i just switch Corviknight to a Mandibuzz to have another Cinderace check

The Team

:ss/Cinderace:

Saiki (Cinderace) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Libero
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Pyro Ball
- Gunk Shot
- Zen Headbutt
- U-turn
The star and the win condition in this team. Cinderace was really good. His perfect ability Libero can change his type depending on the type of attack and got the STAB. We are playing here Pyroball the main stab, gunk shot to OHKO Clefable Zen Headbutt for Toxapex.

252+ Atk Libero Cinderace Zen Headbutt vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 144-170 (47.3 - 55.9%) -- 78.5% chance to 2HKO

252+ Atk Cinderace Pyro Ball vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Volcarona: 280-331 (90 - 106.4%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO

252+ Atk Cinderace Pyro Ball vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 278-330 (69.5 - 82.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Cinderace Pyro Ball vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Tangrowth: 246-290 (60.8 - 71.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

:ss/rillaboom:

Hairo (Rillaboom) @ Choice Band
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer
- U-turn
- Grassy Glide
- Superpower

Rillaboom was one of the best offensive pokemons in OU. His ability Grassy Surge and Grassy glide give a good priority to my team. Rillaboom is here to kill Hippowdon the principal Cinderace check and revenge kill

252+ Atk Choice Band Rillaboom Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hippowdon in Grassy Terrain: 524-618 (124.7 - 147.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Rillaboom Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex in Grassy Terrain: 217-256 (71.3 - 84.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery

:ss/clefable:

Teruhashi (Clefable) @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Thunderbolt

Clefable is one of the best support in the metagame. He’s capacity to check Urshifu dark is essential for my team. I play here a offensive check to kill Mandibuzz because he can check Cinderance and Rillaboom. His capacity to switch safely into Toxapex is important for my team

0 SpA Life Orb Clefable Moonblast vs. 248 HP / 44 SpD Mandibuzz: 257-304 (60.7 - 71.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

:ss/mandibuzz:

Kaido (Mandibuzz) (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 240 HP / 252 SpD / 16 Spe
Careful Nature
- Foul Play
- Roost
- U-turn
- Defog
One of the best Defog in the metagame. His double type dark fly is essential for my team to check pokemon like dragapult, Rillaboom, gengar hex etc ...

+2 252+ Atk Mandibuzz Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Rillaboom: 360-424 (105.5 - 124.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

68 Atk Dragapult Dragon Darts (2 hits) vs. 248 HP / 160+ Def Mandibuzz: 102-122 (24.1 - 28.8%) -- approx. 99.6% chance to 4HKO

:ss/toxapex:

Nendo (Toxapex) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Recover
- Haze
- Toxic

Toxapex is one of the best defensive pokemon in all generations where he appeared. I really need a pokemon can toxic like pyrobut or rotom heat. He also has a good switch for temporisation

:ss/hippowdon:

Toritsuka (Hippowdon) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- High Horsepower
- Slack Off
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
You can see I’m really weak to Cinderace and Zeraora. So i added a Hippowdon to check them. I have finally a good stealth rock setup.

Hey, here to help with your team

So reading this RMT, I feel the team lacks overall direction. The title is Cinderace Offense, but with Hippowdon, Toxapex, and Mandibuzz I think this team falls under balance or bulky offense. While this isn't exactly criticism of the team, I think a lack of direction can be problematic when building and rating teams. So from here on out, I'm going to assume this is a balance team and rate it as such.

Now that that's out of the way, I actually think this team has pretty decent synergy. Looking through your threat list however, I believe I could make some changes to keep the theme of the team, while still helping you alleviate your weaknesses. My first recommendation is to change Hippowdon to SpDef Tyranitar. Tyranitar has a much easier time against the likes of Volcarona, Togekiss, Kyurem, and Sun teams in general. Tyranitar can still provide both Sand Stream and Stealth Rocks, so I think this change will only affect your team in a positive manner.

If you do decide to use Tyranitar, Mandibuzz might become somewhat redundant, and the team slot could be better used. I think replacing Mandibuzz with Excadrill is worth consideration. Excadrill still provides hazard support in the form of Rapid Spin, and helps a ton versus Magnezone and Togekiss. In the sand it's also capable of revenge killing Kyurem and Volcarona, giving you more options against these threats.

Lastly, while I don't think its necessary, I think it's worth considering replacing Clefable with Togekiss. Without Mandibuzz, you might struggle switching in to Banded Rillaboom, but there are ways to play around this with Cinderace and Toxapex. This change I feel is probably the least impactful, but I thought it was worth noting regardless.

That's all I have for now, I hope you consider some of these changes, and best of luck with the team! Any questions feel free to ask me :toast:
Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Rock Blast
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Crunch

Excadrill @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance
- Rapid Spin

Togekiss @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Air Slash
- Roost
- Heal Bell

tried this team and have had trouble dealing with zeraora, need to switch rilla in to soft counter it but you end up losing a shit ton of hp, cant really bring hippow in incase of grass knot, maybe swapping hippow to a spdef excadrill might be a good option, it also gets up rocks and can use rapid spin quite well
