Galarian Darmanitan is one of the best physical attackers and Choice Scarf users due to its great ability in Gorilla Tactics, great Attack stat, above average Speed stat, and wide movepool. Icicle Crash allows Galarian Darmanitan to beat Dragapult, Whimsicott, and Choice Band Haxorus. Flare Blitz allows Galarian Darmanitan to take on Steel-types like Excadrill, Ferrothorn, and Durant. Superpower lets Galarian Darmanitan beat Tyranitar, while Earthquake allows it to secure the OHKO against most Fire-types such as Cinderace and Chandelure. Stone Edge can be used over either Superpower or Earthquake in order to beat Rotom-H while still hitting the aforementioned Fire-types, but its shaky accuracy makes using Earthquake better in general. 116 Special Defense EVs allows Galarian Darmanitan to live a Fire Blast from Choice Scarf Dragapult, while 200 Speed EVs allows it to outpace Choice Scarf Excadrill.

Galarian Darmanitan has trouble with Sturdy users such as Crustle and Sawk, so partners such as Choice Band Haxorus and Choice Scarf Excadrill pair well with it. In return, Galarian Darmanitan can take on troubling Pokemon such as Dragapult, opposing Choice Band Haxorus, and Whimsicott for them. Galarian Darmanitan also struggles with bulky Pokemon such as Aegislash, Corviknight, and Galarian Corsola, so partners such as Choice Specs Hydreigon and Liechi Berry Cinderace help with these Pokemon. In return, Galarian Darmanitan can take on Dragapult, Whimsicott, and Excadrill. Galarian Darmanitan also has trouble with faster Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Haxorus and Hydreigon, so having partners such as Togekiss and Conkeludurr can be beneficial. Add Stone Edge section Having 116 Special Defense EVs allows Galarian Darmanitan to live a Fire Blast from modest Choice Scarf Dragapult. Having 200 Speed EVs allows it to outpace Choice Scarf Excadrill and Togekiss and Choice Band Haxorus. Galarian Darmanitan has trouble with Pokemon that have the ability Sturdy such as Crustle and Sawk. So having partners such as Rhyperior? What’s this do against either and Choice Band Haxorus makes great partners for it. In return, Galarian Darmanitan can take on troubling Steel-types such as Ferrothorn band hax should win this anyway, no? and Dragapult not a steel type for these. Galarian Darmanitan also stuggles with taking on bulky Pokemon such as Aegislash, Corviknight and Galarian Corsola. So partners such as Choice Specs Hydreigion, Dracovish it should beat at least 1 of the examples (or specify set) and Liechi Berry Cinderace helps with these Pokemon. In return, Galarian Darmanitan can take on Dragapult, Whimsicott and Excadrill for these. Galarian Darmanitan also has trouble with faster Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Haxorus and Hydreigon, so having partners such as Togekiss and Conkeludurr helps with these.
