* Throat Chop is a powerful Dark-type STAB move which beats stall Skeledirge without Blast Burn by blocking its Torch Song and Pecharunt.
* Giga Impact deals massive neutral damage to Pokemon that resist Chien-Pao's STAB moves, such as Volcarona, and frailer Pokemon like non-Choice Scarf Porygon-Z.
* Sacred Sword is good against Dark- and Steel-type Pokemon, such as non-Choice Scarf Meowscarada, Choice Specs Darkrai, and Hisuian-Goodra without Chople Berry or Custap Berry.
* Ice Shard is used to OHKO certain Pokemon that are faster than Chien-Pao, such as Dragapult and Choice Scarf Meowscarada.
* Despite its offensive power, Chien-Pao still struggles against bulky Pokemon like Volcanion and Corviknight and Pokemon that outspeed it, such as Speed Booster Iron Crown and Speed Booster Iron Valiant. Therefore, Pokemon like Raging Bolt, Landorus-T, and Volcarona make good teammates.

Hey all, working on a GP check here. I noticed that there are several changes compared to the last QC check, so I want to make sure that this is actually ready for GP. I also have a question around one of the changes that I'd like QC input on. Mentality LongRat ZackPalace

I didn't see anything about Skeledirge in any of the checks. Is this approved to go in the final set analysis?

If it is, can you help me understand what "Stall Skeledirge" is referring to? There isn't a set by that name in Skeledirge's 1v1 analysis. I think that I get the meaning but I'm not sure how best to clarify. Do we mean to say "defensive" or is there a specific set we should allude to here? Maybe something else entirely?

It looks like you dropped the Urshifu mention here. Was that intentional? If so, is there a different example that is meant to go here?

You added Choice Scarf Meowscarada which I assume is probably fine but worth calling out while we're here.

I have a check that is mostly ready which I'll be happy to share once I have direction on Skeledirge and the thumbs up from QC on the other changes.

e: discussed these with QC and GP on discord. Stall Skeledirge is fine and all the additions/omissions were intentional. QC will share guidance for a diff Sacred Sword example and then I'll hop back in

okay, gonna add stuff here, but Sacred Sword is also better for non-Choice Scarf Meowscarada because it can help you deal with t1 protect to get to Normal-type. It's also the best option into Choice Specs Darkrai for example.

Also, yes, you do block parting shot, but you actually just outdamage even defensive Pecharunt even if it uses Parting Shot, so I'd remove this and just say that it beats Pecharunt.

I'd also remove Psychic Fangs as a slash altogether, but if you don't want to do that (which honestly also makes sense to me), I'd include examples like Okidogi and Fezandipiti or something. Not the most relevant Pokemon, but leaving it as just "Frail Annihilape" doesn't make sense to me.
