Done Chandelure (QC 1/1 GP 1/1)

Chandelure @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Trick

The chandelier of the haunted house has come to haunt NU. Chandelure reinforced with Choice Specs outputs a great deal of damage. Fire Blast melts down foes such as non-Leftovers Alolan Muk, while Energy Ball wipes out switch-ins such as Diancie, Gastrodon, and Vaporeon. Trick enables Chandelure to neutralize setup foes such as Scrafty and Toxitricity while also limiting foes like Porygon-2 and Incineroar. Chandelure struggles against entry hazards, so it appreciates hazard control from allies such as Cinccino and Tsareena. Chandelure also appreciates help from allies such as Amoonguss, Toxicroak, and Gastrodon that can switch in to Water-type attacks. Partners like Munkidori and Kilowattrel lure in Steel-types such as Copperajah and Bronzong and provide a fast pivot, which brings Chandelure in safely to remove such foes. Flygon forms a great offensive core with Chandelure, as it checks foes Chandelure struggles against such as Diancie, Alolan Muk, and Incineroar while simultaneously attracting Grass-type foes for Chandelure to eliminate. In return, Chandelure removes foes that threaten Flygon such as Bronzong and Alolan Ninetales while also weakening opposing Water-types.

Chandeleir of the haunted house has came to haunt NU. Chandelure reinforced with Choice Specs outputs great deal of damage. Fire Blast engulfes foes such as Amoonguss, Bronzong and Alolan Ninetales in flames. Shadow Ball shuts down opposing foes like Basculegion, Galarian Slowbro and Scream Tail. (just say fire blast 2hkoes non-lefties alolamuk and dont talk of shadow ball, it’s STAB anyways) Energy Ball wipes out threatening foes switch-ins such as Diancie Drednaw, Gastrodon, Swampert and Vaporeon Bulk Up Paldean Tauros-W. (energy ball usually covers these bulky waters + dia switching in, and while framing it as something that hits drednaw & waterbull isn’t wrong, it doesn’t showcase why the coverage is run, if you catch my drift. also, for these reasons i went with switch-ins, which you can put an adjective before if you wish, as that’s what e ball is for. sidenote: drednaw & waterbull arent looking to eat a shadow ball, and have you seen fire blast into waterbull? min roll is 67 yikes…) Trick enables Chandelure to nuetralize setup foes such as Scrafty and Toxictricity while also limiting foes like Porygon-2 and Incineroar (bigger threat to chandy) Sylveon. Chandelure struggles against hazards thus it appreciates hazard control from allies such as Cinccino and Tsareena Brambleghast (bit by bit bramble is falling off + tsar has had a nice resurgence lately). Vaporeon is another great partner that provides a safe switch from Water-type moves and provides a slow pivot as well as Wish support to help Chandelure recover. (vapo kinda sucks at checking the tier’s common water mons: legion subs on it, waterbull clicks cc, gastro is immune, drednaw 2hkoes you at +2, but intel you actually beat. so, choose mons like amoonguss, toxicroak, and gastrodon for water checks that each provide their own benefits: amoong can spread paralysis through stun spore, croak uses amuk—a common chandy check—as setup fodder while threatening incin, and gastro sets hazards) Alolan Ninetales and Sylveon bring lure out Steel types such as Copperajah and Brozong which can be cleaned up by Chandelure. (pivots like munki, kilo, and boots cincc are better at luring in steels, since you aren’t forced to waste a turn physically bringing in chandy) Flygon forms a great offensive core with Chandelure as it serves as physical sweeper for the team and Chandelure provides role special attacker. (thats a bit too vague. talk about what they do for each other. flygon draws in grass mons, zong, and alolatales, all of which chandy can use as switch-in opportunities, and it beats common chandy checks like incin, diancie, and alolamuk. [if you have space: tack on flygon enjoying weakened water mons])

AhmedxWaleed This isn't stamped yet: I do not understand what you are trying to say in the highlighted portion below. My understanding is as follows:

Chandelure appreciates help from allies such as:
  • Amoonguss, which spreads status using Stun Spore
  • Toxicroak, which provides a Water immunity and checks foes that check Chandelure; one example of which is Alolan Muk, which Toxicroak uses as setup fodder
  • Gastrodon, which is also immune to Water and provides utility by setting entry hazards.
Can you please let me know if my understanding is correct? Regardless, this is sitting at ~1170 characters, so a little bit of this still needs to be cut down. Can you let me know which information isn't as relevant?
