Ceruledge's fearsome STAB combination and access to Swords Dance make it a great sweeper and wallbreaker in NatDex UU. At +2, Bitter Blade and Poltergeist cleave through common defensive staples like Celesteela, Clefable, and Slowbro; the former's healing also makes Ceruledge much harder to KO with residual damage like sand and Toxic as well as some neutral hits such as Iron Hands's Thunder Punch. Shadow Sneak lets Ceruledge take out faster foes that are chipped such as Enamorus and Galarian Zapdos, and at +2 it can even OHKO some Ghost-weak foes like Latios. Close Combat is an alternative, primarily used to OHKO Tyranitar and its Mega forme as well as 2HKO Hydreigon, which resist Ceruledge's STAB attacks. It is also Ceruledge's strongest option against Normal-types, 2HKOing Blissey and Chansey. Weak Armor allows Ceruledge to boost its Speed by taking advantage of physical attackers that can't OHKO it like Iron Hands and Cinderace. Air Balloon allows Ceruledge to soft check foes that rely on Ground-type moves to threaten it like Buzzwole, Excadrill, and Enamorus; against physical attackers, Air Balloon can force them to use a weak attack to pop it granting, Ceruledge a Weak Armor boost. Focus Sash is an alternative, guaranteeing Ceruledge at least one turn of setup and, against physical attackers, one Weak Armor boost. Ghostium Z is another option that provides Ceruledge the power to OHKO Pokemon it otherwise can't, such as Tapu Fini and Iron Hands at +2; it also lets Ceruledge use a powerful Ghost-type move against targets that lack an item, which is situationally useful against certain foes like itemless Slowbro and Booster Energy Iron Moth because Poltergeist does not work on them. Ceruledge fits best on hyper offense teams, which can stack offensive teammates like Iron Hands, Iron Moth, and Thundurus-T to weaken each other's checks. Ceruledge struggles against bulky Water-types like Tapu Fini and is notably stonewalled by the rare Quagsire, making Grass-types like Serperior and certain sweepers like Z-Dragon Dance Salamence and Iron Moth natural partners. Ceruledge dislikes Stealth Rock, especially if it's holding Focus Sash, so it enjoys the support of teammates that can remove entry hazards like Excadrill and Serperior.

Ceruledge's fearsome STAB combination and access to Swords Dance make it a great sweeper and wallbreaker. At +2, Bitter Blade and Poltergeist cleave through common defensive staples like Aegislash, Clefable, and Slowbro; the former also heals Ceruledge, making it much harder to KO using residual damage like sandstorm and Toxic as well as some neutral hits such as Iron Hands's Thunder Punch. Shadow Sneak lets Ceruledge take out faster foes that are chipped such as? enamorus and gapdos come to mind and at +2 it can even OHKO some Ghost-weak foes like Latios. Close Combat is an alternative, with it primarily used to OHKO Tyranitar and its Mega forme, which resist Ceruledge's STAB attacks. It is also Ceruledge's strongest option against Normal-types, OHKOing Blissey, Chansey, and Ursaluna at +2. Weak Armor allows Ceruledge to boost its Speed by taking advantage of physical attackers that can't OHKO it like Iron Hands and Cinderace. Weak Armor synergizes well with Air Balloon, forcing some foes that rely on Ground-types moves to threaten Ceruledge, like Buzzwole and Excadrill, to switch out or use weak attacks to pop it and possibly trigger Weak Armor. should be noted that Air Balloon also gives you really nice utility for the offensive teams its found on, serving as a soft check to Enamorus/Excadrill. Not entirely related to Air Balloon but id also try to mention somewhere how checking Iron Moth is a really valuable trait for offense Focus Sash is an alternative, guaranteeing Ceruledge at least one turn of setup and, against physical attackers, Weak Armor boost. Ceruledge best fits on hyper offense teams, which can stack offensive teammates like Iron Hands, Iron Moth, and Thundurus-T to weaken each other's checks. Ceruledge is notably stonewalled by the rare Quagsire, making Grass-types like Ogerpon-C and Serperior good partners. also annoyed by Fini you could add, then mention how smth like dd z mence is a good teammate to help break through these (fini/quag) more particularly than the 3 you listed above already. Ceruledge dislikes Stealth Rock, especially if it's holding Focus Sash, making it enjoy the support from teammates that can remove hazards like Excadrill. the aforementioned Serperior can also help with this on some nicher support builds for offense Dual screens support from Grimmsnarl can help non-Focus Slash variants find opportunities to set up and obtain Weak Armor boosts, with them also allowing Ceruledge to make the most out of Bitter Blade's HP-draining effect.

Ceruledge's fearsome STAB combination and access to Swords Dance make it a great sweeper and wallbreaker in Nat(remove space)Dex UU. At +2, Bitter Blade and Poltergeist cleave through common defensive staples like Celesteela, Clefable, and Slowbro; the former also heals Ceruledge, making it the former's healing also makes Ceruledge reworded to get rid of dex info much harder to KO using with reworded because you cant "use" residual damage residual damage like sandstorm sand is the weather Sandstorm is the move (if you meant the move just capitalise will do but i assume sand is from ttar) and Toxic as well as some neutral hits such as Iron Hands's Thunder Punch. Shadow Sneak lets Ceruledge take out faster foes that are chipped such as Enamorus and Galarian Zapdos, (AC) and at +2 it can even OHKO some Ghost-weak foes like Latios. Close Combat is an alternative, with it flows better, u can also put "Close Combat is an alternative; it is primarily.." which sounds even better imo but changes quite a bit so up to you primarily used to OHKO Tyranitar and its Mega forme and as well as "and" repetition 2HKO Hydreigon, which resist Ceruledge's STAB attacks. It is also Ceruledge's strongest option against Normal-types, 2HKOing Blissey and Chansey. Weak Armor allows Ceruledge to boost its Speed by taking advantage of physical attackers that can't OHKO it like Iron Hands and Cinderace. Air Balloon allows Ceruledge to soft QCish but balloon doesnt really let you hard check those kinds of stuff check foes that rely on Ground-type moves to threaten it like Buzzwole, Excadrill, and Enamorus; against physical attackers, (AC) it Air Balloon restate subject cos it got confusing can force them to use a weak attack to pop its Air Balloon subject is balloon, granting it Ceruledge subject is balloon a Weak Armor boost. Focus Sash is an alternative, guaranteeing Ceruledge at least one turn of setup and, against physical attackers, one Weak Armor boost. Ghostium Z is another option that provides Ceruledge the power to OHKO Pokemon it otherwise can't, such as Tapu Fini and Iron Hands at +2; it also lets Ceruledge use a powerful Ghost-type move against targets that lack an item, which is situationally useful against certain foes like itemless Slowbro and Booster Energy Iron Moth as Poltergeist does not work on them i know this a bit dex info-y but i think its worth clarifying. Ceruledge best fits fits best sounds quite wrong so im calling this an objective change on hyper offense teams, which can stack offensive teammates like Iron Hands, Iron Moth, and Thundurus-T to weaken each other's checks. Ceruledge struggles against bulky Water-types like Tapu Fini, (RC) and is notably stonewalled by the rare Quagsire, making Grass-types like Serperior and certain sweepers like Z-Dragon Dance Salamence and Iron Moth natural partners. Ceruledge dislikes Stealth Rock, especially if it's holding Focus Sash, making so it enjoys "making it" was a bit weird so this should make it clearer the support from of because of the previous change teammates that can remove entry hazards like Excadrill and Serperior.
