We all know that the OU tier is dominated by Jirachis, Scizors, Metagross' and we need to do something about it. There is an answer and that is the unbelievably powerful Caterpie. Its attacks can break through walls and decimate sweepers, putting an otherwise lost game into your hands. Here is a wide selection of Caterpie at its best

Description: The 4th Gen made Ctaerpie a powerhouse, it simple cannot be stopped when paired with the raw power of a Choice Band. Anything that thinks it has a free set up can think again. A powerhouse defensive wall like Skarmory better think twice before staying in to set up SR and Spikes with Caterpie's Bug Bite hitting a clean 50HKO. A Metagross with no Defensive EVs has even less chance of surviving the destructive wrath of Caterpie. Bug Bite hits a min 10HKO. But don't think that Bug Bite is going to steal all the spotlight. Caterpie shines as a sleep absorber with the amazing capability of Snore. Lets see Breloom get the sub up with Snore on this amazing set. It kills a sub in 5 hits making it impossible for Breloom to get up more than 4 Focus Punches. But with Caterpies suberb resistances Focus Punch only hits a max of 139% giving Caterpie every chance to get that much needed kill. Tackle is mainly for a filler but it does have its uses. Infernape is a major threat here so Tackle is invaluable for ripping through Infernapes poor defenses. THis is one of many examples where something with low defenses is merely practice for the sheer power of Caterpie's Tackles attack.
Caterpie is so magnificent it doesn't need a partner in battle. But if you want to save Caterpies energy, Latias is great, as Infernape is walled, without HP Ice. But a SDef bulky Latias is always a great option to help sponge hits for Caterpie who can then rip through opponents with his Bug Bite. Tentacruel is also fairly nice as he stops Infernape and other threats like Togekiss, who unfortuantely resists Bug Bite (nothing Tackloe can't handle though.)
