[SET COMMENTS]
Bulk Up Urshifu-S acts as a great sweeper and wallbreaker in OU. While lacking in immediate power when compared to its Choice Band set, after one boost in conjunction with Life Orb this set hits much harder, and the ability to switch moves can be game changing. Bulk Up enables Urshifu-S to sweep, making it harder for foes like Rillaboom and Crawdaunt to revenge kill it. Wicked Blow is an incredible STAB option and 2HKOes anything that doesn't resist it. Sucker Punch provides Urshifu-S with a way to nail faster Pokemon that could otherwise revenge kill it, such as Dragapult, Zeraora, and Alakazam. Close Combat is another great STAB attack and offers complementary coverage alongside Wicked Blow, nailing Dark-types such as Tyranitar and OHKOing Ferrothorn after Stealth Rock, preventing Urshifu-S from being worn down as easily. Alternatively, Iron Head provides Urshifu-S with the ability to break through Fairy-types such as Clefable, Togekiss, and Galarian Weezing and has a 30% chance to cause the foe to flinch. Poison Jab is also an option for its ability to poison the foe and provides the same coverage against Clefable and Togekiss, as well as dealing good damage to Azumarill and Primarina. Adamant is the preferred nature for this set, as the loss of Speed is somewhat made up for thanks to Sucker Punch. Jolly, however, does let Urshifu-S outspeed the likes of Timid Rotom-H and Timid Kyurem. Life Orb is the preferred item for this set, as Urshifu-S always OHKOes Ferrothorn with Close Combat after Stealth Rock and always 2HKOes Clefable with Iron Head. Black Glasses is an option however, as it boosts both Wicked Blow and Sucker Punch and can more importantly bluff a Choice Band set. The lack of recoil also makes Urshifu-S a lot harder to wear down and revenge kill.
Bulk Up Urshifu-S finds a home on a plethora of teams, ranging from bulky offense to hyper offense. Urshifu-S acts as both a wallbreaker and sweeper, so pairing it with Pokemon that have similar checks to Urshifu-S is a good idea. Dragapult is a fantastic partner, both for its ability to sweep and wallbreak for Urshifu-S and its great type synergy. Dragapult is capable of softening the likes of Clefable and Togekiss and can also absorb Fighting-type attacks aimed at Urshifu-S. In return, Urshifu-S is capable of taking on the likes of Tyranitar and Blissey. Rillaboom is a great partner thanks to its ability to soften up Toxapex and can bring Urshifu-S in safely with U-turn. Togekiss is a great partner, as it can switch into Fighting-type attacks, while Urshifu-S easily breaks and takes advantage of Tyranitar, Blissey, and Aegislash. Excadrill is a fantastic partner, able to provide support in the form of Rapid Spin and switch in on Fairy-types that give Urshifu-S trouble. Corviknight acts in similar fashion for its ability to check Fairy-types and provide Defog support while also acting as a pivot to bring Urshifu-S in safely. Lastly, Magnezone is a good partner that can take on Toxapex and Clefable and bring Urshifu-S in safely thanks to Volt Switch.
