This here is the bellibolt i was thinking of building around. After the majority of SV has gotten cycled out, the average HP of cards has gone down quite a bit, and 170 damage is enough to 1HKO most pokemon. The main problem is that the new cycle has gotten rid of a pretty large amount of energy acceleration (which is VERY neccessary for this deck).

This specific tadbulb is probably the best option for the job, but I don't see the attack getting much use. Early game, it's unlikely you'll have any energy lying around in your discard pile, and when your opponent has attackers set up, you don't really want to be throwing 50 hp cards straight to their graves. Still, it's more useful than the other options.

Marnie's pride is undoubtedly the best supporter for this deck. This card + one energy attachment means you can easily set up a second attack, but you're limited in how many times you can actually do this.

And here's the last semblance of any viability for electric decks post-flaafy ban. These 5 cards together means that you can pretty consistently set up 2 or 3 attackers in the first few turns at the cost of like half your deck. Especially in the current metagame, most high-powered attackers are 2-stage pokemon.
Relying on a single attacker is an objectively stupid idea, so it'd be worth putting in more attackers. Off the top of my head, I think that miraidon-ex and iron hands-ex are likely worth using since they are pretty much the best electric types in the meta right now.

Miraidon has the raw power to break through anything bellibolt lacks the firepower to kill. The ability also allows for easier setup for both bellibolt and other attackers.

This guy right here is pretty much the only reason bellibolt isn't good. He does more consistent damage, has one of the most busted attacks in the current regulation, and has nearly twice as much health to back it up. Bellibolt, however comes with the advantage of only giving your opponent one prize card.
Outside of that comes standard deck-building procedure. Put in a reasonable amount of energy, cards that let you draw, phasing cards, the like. I'll probably be done with the deck list at some point, so look forward to that. And if someone who's actually good at the tcg wants to bring this deck to a tournament, go ahead. I'm not going to stop you.
