Beheeyem's access to the move Teleport makes it a great pivot, allowing it to bring in teammates safely thanks to teleport's negative priority. It also can function as an amazing wallbreaker due to its massive special attack stat and its decent moveset. Psychic is its main STAB move, doing great damage and potentially dropping the enemy's special defense. Future Sight puts the enemy team on a timer, which allows you to deal massive damage with two attacks in the same turn. Thunderbolt gives it great coverage against miscellaneous enemies that could potentially be a threat to another teammate. Teleport is a coveted move that allows it to switch out with negative priority.
Pokemon with abilities that benefit off of constant switching, such as Tangela and Trenevant , appreciate the support Beheeyem provides because they can safely come in. Fighting types such as Falinks appreciate Beheeyem checking Mareanie for it, so they can have an easier time sweeping.
Pokemon such as Morpeko and Heatmor appreciate Beheeyem getting them in safely because they cant switch in themselves, as they have subpar bulk. Speaking of subpar bulk, pokemon such as the aformentioned Tangela and Stunfisk make great partners as they can sponge hits for Beheeyem. Fire types such as Heatmor and Flareon are also appreciated as they can check most of the bug types that can threaten Beheeyem.

With a massive special attack stat, Beheeyem can perfectly use Choice Specs to make it a massively threatening wallbreaker. It sets itself apart from other Psychic-Types due to it's low speed and the ability Analytic, boosting its attacks even more. Psyshock is Beheeyem's best STAB move, allowing it to easily kill specially bulky threats such as Type-Null and Appletun. Shadow Ball provides crucial coverage against Ghosts such as the Gourgeists and Driftblim. Thunderbolt annihilates Water types and is Beheeyem's best option to hit Dark types such as Pawniard. Teleport is essential as it allows Beheeyem to bring another teammate in safely.
Due to Beheeyem's ability to threaten opposing Psychic and Fighting types, Pokemon such as Hitmonchan and Morpeko make great partners. Both of the aformentioned pokemon can get rid of entry hazards with Rapid Spin, making them even more useful. Entry Hazard setters such as Mareanie and Dugtrio-Alola are useful as they put enemies within OHKO range of any of Beheeyem's moves. Beheeyem has a subpar speed stat, so priority abusers such as Raichu and Pawniard are appreciated to kill speedier enemies. Late game cleaners such as Lilligant and Marowak are appreciated to finish the job Beheeyem has done in weakening the enemy team.

Beheeyem is an amazing wallbreaker due to its amazing special attack which is further boosted by Analytic. Due to its low speed and its access to Trick Room, it can easily abuse Analytic without Trick Room and virtually outspeed the entire tier under Trick Room. Unfortunately, a bad defensive typing in Psychic makes it prone to common moves such as Knock Off and U-turn. Trick Room makes it and its slower teammates potentially gain a speed advantage, which allows either Beheeyem or a teammate to sweep the enemy team. Psychic and Psyshock are Beheeyem's STAB moves, Psyshock can be used for better matchups against specially defensive threats such as Type: Null. Recover gives Beheeyem a sustainable form of recovery so it can reliably set up Trick Room without dying. Thunderbolt is a powerful coverage move so it can OHKO more things.
Beheeyem works well with pokemon that appreciate Trick Room support, such as Appletun and Marowak, are useful. Marowak is especially useful, as it has a massive attack stat with Thick Club. Entry hazard support is useful so that Beheeyem's teammates can sweep easier, which makes Mawile a good teammate, as it can weaken the enemy with Intimidate and set Stealth Rock.
Unfortunately, due to Beheeyem's subpar bulk, it is easily killed by Dark types, so it appreciates Fighting-type teammates such as Throh and Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan is especially useful as it can get rid of entry hazards with Rapid Spin, while Throh appreciates Trick Room support. Beheeyem is also prone to status from things such as Mareanie's Toxic Spikes, so Poison types such as Mareanie and Roselia can absorb toxic spikes, and can also set their own Toxic Spikes.
