Its possible since some pokemon change ability when they evolve after being migrated, but i like to just use return since the point of extreme speed was not worrying about salac berry but now that he has gluttony you might want to use a more powerful attack like return of fail.

well Jirachi is the only steelPokemon that learns wish and with base 100 def he might be an effective def wall but if your looking for a non uber solution try wiggytuff. with a bold nature and 224 evs you get around 200 def OR you can aim for 266 Satk with modest and 224 evs ( to kill garchomp and salamence) as well depending on what your team needs more.

i looked at serbii and didn't see linoone w/ extreme speed unless it was a tutor move in emerald which i dont think linoone was in emerald but you can belly drum and salac will activate.
 
I need more opinions on this from people who have tried it.

Is it possible to check Moltres/Articuno/Zapdos' stats in XD if you leave an open slot in your party during the final fight, before it autosaves at the end of the battle?
 
@Raikou, yes. That's what you're meant to do (at least what I did for Lugia). You Master Ball it with a spare slot and check the stats. You won't get nature but if you use something like Pokemon Netbattle you can usually input the stats and see which nature it matches. Catch it straight away, then check your party.
 
Well seriously, what is the difference? You can catch the pokemon and it should surely be in your party? You won't be able to do this to find HP of something like Zapdos. You can go in and lose specifically (ie with one weak pokemon or enough power to get to the bird you want).

That was my second question actually, is it considered hacking when you check the IV's of a pokemon before hatching it? Some people here do it, so I wanted to know the code...

But I will never hack a pokemon, I want to have only legit pokemon! Checking the IV's doesn't affect the IV's, right?
 
Where can I make suggestions/corrections/bug reports about the new Wi-Fi Trading Center of the main site? I've made a quick search over the forums but I don't see anything. In fact, I don't see even a post about the new features.
 
How come hypnosis (psychic type) affects dark-types, but thunder wave (electric type) doesn't affect ground types and toxic (poison type) doesn't affect steel types? Is there some sort of inner mechanic that would unbalance the game if it did? I just sort of see it as unfair/strange, since dark types immunity to psychic almost seems pointless in todays metagame...
 
question:

Is Cacturne immune to sandstorm? I'm asking this, because his type is grass/dark but his ability is sand veil.
