Welcome to the third edition of the Ancient Lower Tiers Premier League! Lower tiers of these older gens tend to get less representation in their respective subforums for many team tours, so this tour is designed with the goal to give these tiers an extra team tour to shine! You may now COMMENCE!

Snorlaxes won't be doing official tryouts but please dm me replays via a message on Smogon (this site) if you feel like you're unknown, want jam and I to take a look. We're going to most likely look for support slots in both builder support and possibly subs as back up options. For simplicity sake you can use the below format in your message to me.

dear managers, i hope this message finds you in good health (or not, idrc). i have managed to sign up for altpl 3 in this year of 2024 (soon to be 2025, do not forget). in recent light of seeing that we might need the managers to dm players with their accomplishments, i am here with a clear message to those. do not dm me under any circumstances. me, who goes by ojr on this forum and ps and known as THE ROOK on discord, is a very busy young man and will not be able to answer your message or even read it for that fact. your attempt to message me will be a waste of time so do not do this. i may repeat that once more so that you for sure know that you should not message me, do not dm me. that being said i do not require any further special treatments and will be a flexible player for you unless you put me in rby. do not do that. i wouldnt prefer to play gsc either, or even adv. or even dpp now i think about it. maybe you should just not buy me, but do what you must. if you call upon my assistance i will be there, in good times and in bad times. probably not in bad times actually im not that nice really. furthermore i would like to inform you of the fact that i was able to write all of this without the need of chatgpt, i think this is an incredible feat for someone of my generation. thanks for reading this and have some good holidays.

I usually do PRs every year. However, I think it'd be better this year if someone from the RBY Community, someone from the GSC Community, and someone from the ADV Community did their own overall RBY, GSC, and ADV PRs here. You don't need to know the lineups, just a general sense of how the teams stack up with their RBY, GSC, and ADV presence. Not going to push anyone specifically except for BeeOrSomething

Wanted to give my proper shoutouts to the Laxes now that our season is over. Had a lot of fun managing in this tour and the team was awesome to be around so they deserve it.

jam appreciate you reaching out to me (thanks to susciety for nudging you as well). I think we both didn't really know what to expect but fortunately we're some chill guys and the draft went super smooth getting everyone we wanted and then some. Honestly you're the life of the Laxes, brought in all these people from previous tours into the draft with some helpers and we wouldnt gotten as far without your networking. I guess that's a sign I need to be more friendly lol :worrywhirl:. Want to let other hosts know jam is awesome for managing.

aurora you were our bench slot and truthfully you didn't do anything lmao but it's okay I know if we really needed to we would slot you in somewhere.

devin Our plan was to always get you to sub in somewhere since you signed for a lot and always reliable to sweat a bit even in the most unviable of slots, plus one of the chillest people on the site. Once we realized you played rby nu in nucl and could hold your own this saved us a bit of a headache figuring out who will be slotted here so it was great you could hold your own and build. I know the score you have maybe not what you wanted but long as the vibes is there it's all good. *insert jjk meme here

JoaF thanks for reaching out prior to the tour and being okay with being benched due to how the sign ups were. Glad we got you just to always have that support or sub slot in most of the tiers in case we need it. Hopefully next time we get you in more play time and appreciate slotting into GSC UU and putting in max effort. Didn't go unnoticed and hopefully other managers take note to.

leoperi the GSC NU lord. Carried our GSC NU with ease and did lots of preps and talks with others to make sure he was ready for his game. jam and I already knew you would go unnoticed in the draft while the managers have an upbid brainrot of high cost players to run out of money early. One of our dark horse picks and super glad we got you as part of our plan, you carrying was just a bonus. Hopefully people will soon stop sleeping on you.

Zelph One of jams picks and as usual the cards aligned for us to pick you up. Despite whatever losses you had you did great with what you were provided, cooking in adv ubers a format a lot of us weren't too knowledgeable on. Thanks for covering this slot hopefully get to run it back again.

magialice Despite your record it was great to pick you up to play tradebacks which felt like the sacrificial slot for this tour and you were adamant on sticking it out.

Alice Kazumi our retain slot. While you may have not had the record you wanted you stay committed to this slot for most of the tour and you always cooked. I don't think anybody genuinely likes this version uu lol so thanks for wanting to play this slot and save everyone else a headache.

Cao Jie appreciate you taking the rby ubers slot so magialice could run tradebacks, as I know you wanted to tradeback in this tour. ngl score wise you got your ass kicked lol but that wasnt for the lack of trying and being open to ideas throughout the week. Appreciate you sticking it out to the end and even playing out your last game when we were already out of playoffs.

Concept thanks for subbing into rby nu when devin had to step away. Very unlucky set you played but mons will be mons.

Blue (Ronin) super try hard support for adv uu testing all of mielkes ideas and just running tests where needed. Alice said to pick you up late in the draft and she got us amazing support. Hopefully if we run it back we'll have you slotted for more playtime but ty for everything.

Gallinova Another one of our darkhorses from jam's suggestion. Always prepping, running test games, making teams ngl at some point I stopped checking the channel because I already knew you were good lol. I have never seen so many games where Celebi just walled until this tour thanks to you. Goat slot putting up a lot of wins on the board for us. Managers take note.

mielke It is diabolical for how low we got you for the amount of support and prep you did but just like leoperi we figured we could steal you late in the draft when everyone else was dumping credits. Super invested into the ADV UU slot running tests with Blue Ronin and just being awesome all around. I was worried about adv uu because of how clueless I am about it and all that worry went away Week 1 once the prep started. Super glad to have you with us.

Oathkeeper my fellow retirement home pal lol. Though the record isn't reflective of your ability was glad you reached out to me prior to tour to try and get you. And we did, you and Stockings cooked too and one of my favorite moment of the tour was the Lickitung load, broken mon lmaoo. Let's run it back again if I dont quit mons (cope)?

ojr hilarious sign up post, I needed to check the sheet for what you were actually allowed to play in prior to you being subbed in. Fortunately, or unfortunately for you, you had to be slotted into RBY Ubers in your first game ever, in which you managed to win one game out of the set with no experience lol. Appreciate you stepping in for the sub slot and sorry we had to interrupt your ADV SPL analysis for it.

Our records wouldn't have been as good without your advice and team support to help us throughout the week since some of those slots would have been difficult otherwise

Big thank you to hosts of course Akeras BigFatMantis for hosting. Ngl it seemed like a pain in the ass this season so wasn't sure if this is normally how it goes for hosts but regardless thank you for having the patience when needed.
 
Now that the winner has been decided, I'd like to thank everyone on the Distressed Red Voltorbs. We might've not won, but we still made a splash, especially with that 8-2 and getting all the way to finals. Everyone put in their 1000% and I couldn't have asked for a better team.

Maris Bonibell You went crazy in this tour, whenever we were in need of a win you always got it. Your UU seems inhuman and you tore apart this pool like an animal. You also helped our other RBY slots a lot, 30.5k seems like a steal for how much you carried our team.

Enigami The RBY Ubers goat, your resume in this tier made you me and Zcarlett's first pick. Unfortunately you got haxxed a bunch, but no one can deny that you're an immensely skilled player.

feen I'll admit GSC UU looks like science fiction to me and this tier seemed to seriously hate you most of the time. Regardless, you alwayes seemed to know your shit and you contributed to our legendary 8-2.

plznostep I've known you for a long time in ZU, but I didn't know you were so goated in GSC. You were our anchor in GSC UU, and we would not have had gotten so far if you didn't pull through at the right times.

Deezcastforms My preferred pick in tradebacks, the pool was pretty small and you were easily the best player I could see there. You certainly didn't disappoint and we wouldn't have made it to playoffs without your skill.

Wanted in 49 States The RBY NU goat, I've known how good you are in RBY. Your results in RBYPL have no bearing on your skill because pre-drops PU was a dogshit meta, and this tour clearly shows it. Your dedication shows with your results, especially in a Gen as hostile as RBY.

Raahel I will never forget having to find a sub for you week 2, I was searching for half an hour straight. Besides that, which wasn't your fault, I can commend you for trying your hardest. It didn't always pan out, but I'd never fault you for a lack of effort.

SPHZ Our original ADV UU slot, unfortunately the tour wasn't so kind to you, but that has nothing to do with your skill. I can see you killing it in another tour soon.

zinnias Sadly we benched you, but I have no doubts that you'd have stomped some people if we did unleash you.

KeshBa54 you seem cool but you were banned early on so idk what to say

goldmason You were basically Zcarlett's first pick, and you did not disappoint. You had a slow start, but when you picked up you stomped the competition. Your helping our Ubers was also goated, all around a great ADV.

Alder ST The ADV Ubers goat, you played excellently and had some of the most detailed prep all tour. I wish I could understand half of it because you wrote it in Spanish, but it must translate into you being the goat because the results speak for themselves.

teamo We threw you to the wolves when we needed a replacement, so I can't fault you for how rough it was. You were a great sub and if you were slotted into different tiers you'd have easily mopped the competition.

Zpice I feel bad for having benched you for most of the tour, but you were great when we freed you, and you always supported our ADV slots when on the sidelines. You should've been allowed to play more, that is probably my biggest regret this tour.

ExguardiaN We snubbed you by only drafting you after KeshBa54 got banned, and then we basically threw you into the wolves out of nowhere because we needed a sub, and you won that game! The best randomly great player we found all tour, you shredded the opps in GSC Ubers.

mielke you joined super late, given you were on another team, but regardless your insight into ADV UU is unmatched and the support you gave to Zpice was goated.

Iride you didn't play any of these tiers but thanks for the emotional support for me.

Finally, I'd like to thank Zcarlett for managing with me. It's sad we didn't win, but it is hilarious we got to finals because she had a dream. This was a great time and like I said I couldn't ask for a better team.

Amity thank you for agreeing to co-manage with me! I feel like we complemented each other really well since I am rby and you are adv, so we were able to cover support for most of the tiers! I know we had a rocky start but once we got momentum we were able to keep it for the rest of the tour which was awesome!

BeeOrSomething You were 100% worth the 30k because you helped a ton with GSC and popped off in RBY tradbacks the weeks u played in it, glad we got to team for the 3rd altpl in a row and for our (maybe 7th?) teamtour :wobb:

Sabelette appreciate the help with the rby support especially for uu and nu whcih I'm not as famillair with as ubers/tradebacks, you also did really well in the tour for a tier that (i might be wrong here) you haven't played? I also think this was (somehow) our first time teaming in a teamtour too and it was really great to have you on the team!

hammer798 halfway thru the draft we realized all of the established nuers were taken an you stood out as someone less established that we could steal for 3k and YOU FUCKING DELIVRED. 3-2 is great for your relative lack of experience compared to the pool and u should be really proud of how you did this tour. I know i was pretty harsh on you when reviewing your games but that's part of the learning experiencena and I feel you really improved.

PKMN Master™ when we changed our lineup you moved from the bench to UU and you did really well 2-1, i was especially impressed by your win vs Maris, the only undefeated player (Even tho i was drunk d uring the game LOL!) Im glad we drafted you and you were really essential to our success during the later weeks

Mrbanana45 altho ur UU was admittedly not great after we changed our lineup halfway through the tour and got u into tradebacks you killed it beating 2 very good players (toxin and ace). Was glad to have you on the team!

SaDiSTiCNarwhal the starter who somehow only plaed 3 out of 6 weeks :gareggmie: you surprisingly put in more effort than i thought (i thought u wouldn't prep at all but you did prep a little). Thank you for donating your pprng to the rest of our team, it really came in handy.

Toxin Boost you will be in SPL by 2026 holy shit, you joined at the last minute and somehow dropped the most beautiful UU team i have ever seen in my life, you were in my intiial draft plan but sadly other managers knew how cracked u are at the game so we couldn't afford you, glad that we got to grab u at the very end tho!

With that, this is the end of a long journey. I'd like to thnk everyone for putting a ton of effort into the tour and letting us win. I'd also like to congragulate the orbs on making it this far, y'all were at the lower end of the standings for quite a while then made a heroic push to make playoffs then make it to finals! You should be proud of yourselves for making it this far!

Lastly, a song that I've had on loop while typing this, it's kinda how I feel right now an would reccomend cuz its FUCKING GODO
