Double Dance (Alcremie)@ Leftovers / Grassy Seed

Tera Type: Poison / Steel
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Acid Armor
- Draining Kiss
- Stored Power

[Set Comments]

Alcremie is faces competition from Fairy-types like Florges or Grimmsnarl, but it has some assets that make it niche. Draining Kiss is a good move that strengthens its staying power very well, which allows it to heal itself on Zoroark or Pawmot for example. Stored Power is chosen to avoid being walled too much by Fire- and Poison-types, and take advantage of the double dance. Stored Power is preferred over Psyshock since it does more damage to special walls like Goodra and Florges or to better weaken Alolan-Sandslash or Orthworm (if set up). Calm Mind will be used to set up this to increase its damage and make it bulkier.Acid Armor is there to increase the damage of Stored Power as well as increase its physical bulk. It's Ability Aroma-Veil allows it to heal itself with Draining Kiss without the heal block of Psychic Noise from Florges or Uxie and allows it to be set up easily thanks to its immunity to Whimsicott's Encore or Grimmsnarl's Taunt. Leftovers allow Alcremie to slightly increase our staying power while keeping the healing of Draining Kiss. Grassy Seed is optional for a Grassy Terrain or / and form a core with Arboliva or Thwackey. The spreads allow it to overtake Sandaconda, and the rest goes to HP and Def to better resist physical Pokémon like Rhydon and Psyshock from Pokémon like Galarian Articuno. Tera Poison will serve to better counter Fighting- and Fire-types while Tera Steel will serve to better counter its weaknesses as well as counter Flying- and Psychic-types. These two Terastal are immune to Toxic from Pokémon like Bellibolt or Toxic Spikes annoying for him, which evens out the Terastal.

Alcremie will have his place in a BO team or in Grassy Terrain which suits him well with his role as a bulky sweeper. It will be favorable to take Pokémon that counter the Steel-types like Hitmonlee (only in Grassy Terrain), or Arcanine. This will make it easier to position and sweep with Stored Power. Pokémon that can prevent Roar from Houndstone or Mudsdale will usually be countered by a Taunt from Thwackey or Grimmsnarl. Toxic, which is annoying for Alcremie, can be absorbed by Poison- Steel-types or by using Terastalization. On the other hand, if it is a Salazzle that uses Toxic, Scrafty equipped with Shed Skin will be the ideal Pokémon. As for setups like Salazzle and Florges, they can be handled by the support of Encore from Whimsicott, Roar from Mudsdale and Houndstone or by a Dragon Tail (except Florges) from Goodra or Milotic. Choice item Trickers like Rotom, Rotom-Heat, Zoroark or Florges can be absorbed by Choiced Pokémon. It is also bothered by Haze users like Milotic, so it will be essential to knock it out before attacking Alcremie. An Electric-type Pokémon such as Pawmot or / and a Grass-type such as Hisuan-Electrode (again) or Hisuan-Decidueye would be essential to support it as much as possible for its role as a finisher

Hihi. Gonna have to ask you to put this back in WIP, it's way too short. These are supposed to be 2 paragraphs long, check out the resources/requirements using the links in:

before we move forward we'd like you to review the Spelling and Grammar Standards, your content is mostly correct but there are major spelling and grammar issues that impact readability and i'd like you to fix many of these. please ask questions on here or discord if you need further clarification on what is acceptable grammar.

Hello, first of all, I thank you for your great support, thank you very much! Secondly, it really surprises me that there are spelling mistakes, I use Google Translate (I have difficulty speaking English). Have a good day!

I just realized this only concerns the spelling of Pokémon...

Alcremie is most likely outclassed by fellow Fairy-types like Florges or Grimmsnarl, but this doesn’t prevent him from having a niche usage thanks to its ability Aroma Veil. This ability allows it to heal itself with Draining Kiss without being affected by heal block from Psychic Noise. This move is commonly used by the threats Florges or Uxie and allows it to be set up semi-uncontestedly thanks to its immunity to Whimsicott's Encore or Grimmsnarl's Taunt.

This spread can outspeed Sandaconda without investing too many EVs. Leftovers allow Alcremie to increase its longevity which is bolstered by Draining Kiss. Grassy Seed is optional for a Grassy Terrain and forms a strong core with Arboliva or Thwackey. Poison-Tera serves as a better deterrent to fighting and fairy-type attacks whilst steel-tera will serve to better as a general defensive tera including countering psychic-types. An important facet of these tera types is that they are immune to both Toxic and Tspikes, which ruin Alcremie’s sweeping potential.

Calm Mind and Acid Armor can wall virtually the entire tier when used in conjunction, provided you have positioned yourself well on more passive pokemon like Tauros-Paldea-Blaze (non banded) and steel-types as Sandslash Alola, Bastiodon or even Copperajah. It is important to have first dealt with strong phazers such as Houndstone or Mudsdale before initiating a sweep.

Draining Kiss is a great choice of STAB in order to deal damage whilst healing for longevity. This, coupled with Calm Mind and Acid Armor and Leftovers or/and Grassy Terrain makes Alcremie extremely bulky and difficult to handle. Stored Power is a strong option useful for countering fairy resistant counters, such as fire-types and poison-Types like Firebull, Salazzle, Qwilfish, Muk or Venusaur.
Of course, Stored Power also has incredible synergy with double dancing stat boosts and can make Alcremie hit very hard very quickly.

Ideal Partners-

Alcremie is well suited to both BO teams or to Grassy Terrain Teams as a bulky set up sweeper. To cover Alcremie’s steel weakness, it is always useful to have Pokémon can hit steel-types for super effective damage like Hitmonlee (only in Grassy Terrain), or Arcanine. Pokémon like Orthworm can wall Alcremie and so packing a safe switch in for this is important. This will make it easier to position and sweep with Stored Power once the steel type has been dealt with.

Counterplay and how to get around it-

Pokémon that can prevent sweeps such as Houndstone and Copperajah can be countered with Taunt from useful partners Thwackey or Grimmsnarl. Toxic, which is annoying for Alcremie, can be absorbed by Poison-Types or Steel-types. It is important to note, if it is Salazzle that threatens Toxic with its annoying corrosion ability, Scrafty can serve as an ideal partner for absorbing and shaking off Toxic with its ability shed skin. As for opposing set up sweepers such as Salazzle and Florges, these can be handled from Encore support from Utility Whimsicott, Whirlwind from Copperajah, Roar from Mudsdale and Houndstone or Dragon Tail (except Florges) from a defensive Goodra spread. Choiced item Trick Mons like Rotom, Rotom-Heat, Zoroark, or Florges can be countered with a nifty switch to a Choiced Mon of your own.

I tried fixing your post.
i appreciate your attempt to help but please don't rewrite analyses for other people. let them do their own work.

do not use gendered pronouns for pokemon like he or she. yes, i know alcremie is always female, but we refer to pokemon either by their name or if you have to use pronouns, it/its.

Alcremie is certainly replaceable by faces competition from Fairy-types like Florges or Grimmsnarl, but that does not prevent him from having a niche thanks to his Ability Aroma Veil. This same Ability allows him to heal himself with Draining Kiss without the heal block of Psychic Noise from Florges or Uxie and allows it to be set up easily thanks to its immunity to Whimsicott's Encore or Grimmsnarl's Taunt. The spreads allow it to overtake Sandaconda without investing in Speed (as long as the smogon set doesn't invest in speed there's no need to mention it), and the rest goes to HP and Defense to better resist physical Pokémon like Rhydon and Psyshock from Pokémon like Galarian Articuno. Leftovers allow Alcremie to slightly increase our (you especially should not be using first person pronouns here) staying power while keeping the healing of Draining Kiss which will never be blocked by Psychic Noise. (fluff) Grassy Seed is optional for a Grassy Terrain and/or form a core with Arboliva or Thwackey. (if grassy seed is optional why is it slashed first? the better item should always come before the more niche item) Poison-Terastal Tera Poison will serve to better counter Fighting- and Fire-types while Steel-Terastal Tera Steel will serve to better counter its weaknesses as well as counter Psychic-types. These two Terastal are immune to Toxic from Pokémon like Bellibolt or Toxic Spikes annoying for him, which evens out the Terastal. (merge the previous two setences together and make them more concise) Calm Mind and Acid Armor can wall any Pokémon, provided you have positioned yourself well on a Pokémon like non-band Tauros-Paldea-Blaze and Hoopa, and that Steel-types as Iceslash, Bastiodon or Copperajah and that phazers such as Houndstone or Mudsdale are eliminated. (fluff) Draining Kiss is a chosen STAB move while increasing its staying power, coupled with Calm Mind+Acid Armor and Leftovers and Grassy Terrain it becomes very bulky and unmanageable. (also fluff, we don't explain stab moves) Stored Power is chosen to avoid being walled too much by Fire- and Poison-types, and take advantage of the double dance. (not fluff but explain why it's used over other moves like psyshock which do the same thing)

the above paragraph is backwards in structure. it should be moves, then abilities, then items, then ev spread, and then finally tera types. please fix this.

Pokémon that can prevent Phases (what do you mean by Phases? there isn't anything like that in pokemon which in comes to alcremie. do you mean phazing?) such as Houndstone and Copperajah will usually be countered by a Taunt from Thwackey or Grimmsnarl. Toxic, which is annoying for Alcremie, can be absorbed by Poison- or Steel-types or by using Terastalization. On the other hand, if it is a Salazzle that uses Toxic, Scrafty equipped with Shed Skin will be the ideal Pokémon. As for setups like Salazzle and Florges, they can be handled by the support of Encore from Whimsicott, Whirlwind from Copperajah, Roar from Mudsdale and Houndstone or by a Dragon Tail (except Florges) from Goodra. Choice item Trickers like Rotom, Rotom-Heat, Zoroark or Florges can be absorbed by Choiced Pokémon.
