A conundrum

I've recently been appointed Vice President of the company I work for. The more days that pass in this role, though, the more I feel like a figurehead. Sure, being paid within the upper half of six digits is something I could only have dreamed of years ago, but I'm someone who loves always doing something rather than just essentially smiling and waving during board meetings.

What I've decided is that I'm going to work to incrementally redefine what a Vice President can be. Seeing as "Vice" is in the job title, I feel like the role could do more to promote societal ills within the workplace. Whether it's endorsing gambling on two flies moving up a wall, encouraging the feeling of envy towards your superiors or even colleagues on the same role level, or plastering "greed is good" on everyone's office cubicle, I really do think that this would be an important addition to my role requirements.

Do you have any thoughts on this idea? And before you decide to be smart and post that I should be a "Virtue President" instead, I'm two steps ahead of you there. The Care Bears television series running on a loop is that way, thanks.

when i opened this post i expected to see a conundrum about the character A from the hit game xenoblade chronicles 3: future redeemed. was immensely disappointed by the result. so you're off to a good start.
