Finals

  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Players are eligible to call act if mid series after challenging their opponent does not accept within 7 minutes.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.

SV Bo7: Lumii vs Blanched : Two of the top 5 sv players right now, Blanched isnt gonna get 4-0d like he did in week 1. I think both of these players can build strong teams and click the right buttons. 5050
SV Bo5: Murm vs DripLegend : Drip has been playing well, and I don't think Murm is on the same level. 20/80 DripLegend in 3
SV Bo5: Kala chasmah vs Jamez : Kala has mainer diff. While Jamez got his first win against Close in week 7, it looked more like Close threw than Jamez won. However, Jamez does have a lot of experience, so if he can manage to learn the tier well enough Kala might be in trouble. 70/30 Kala in 4
SS Bo7: Here Comes Team Charm! vs Mishlef : Mishlef beat iron woman Aliss. Realistically this can go either way, but I believe HCTC has to pay off the luck debt from semis. 40/60 Mishlef in 7
SS Bo5: ihbst vs xdRudi.exe : ihbst has somehow gotten away with bringing charizard to every series. I am not very familiar with these two so just going with my gut here. 60/40 ihbst in 5
SM: Elo Bandit vs Waylaid : Waylaid outpicks 4/5 games and loses bc of hax and matchups getting flipped by Elo Bandit Technology™. 70/30 Bandit in 5
ORAS: Synonimous vs Irene : idk what syno has been doing, but he lost his last 2 series to swordisbored and torterraxx, so I have lost faith. 30/70 Irene in 3
BW: dreepy vs LpZ : Dreepy lost the runback vs steen by getting reversed. Meanwhile, LpZ is the Grand Slam XIII Champion, so yea he's not gonna lose. 20/80 LpZ in 4

RPS Rhyperiors (0) vs (8) Fisher-Happy Thwackeys
SV Bo7: Lumii vs Blanched - No need for a bo7 when Blanched on needs 4. Real shit get that revenge and help bring home the chip
SV Bo5: Murm vs DripLegend - I can't see a world where drip loses, mostly because I haven't watched any of the series where they have lost but still!
>fish driplegend
SV Bo5: Kala chasmah vs Jamez - Jamez has been cooking for the past 2 weeks and there's no way his opp can handle the heat
SS Bo7: Here Comes Team Charm! vs Mishlef - just go win mishlef but never forget 1724629298513.png
SS Bo5: ihbst vs xdRudi.exe - I don't have a lot to say here, but Idk if you wanna bring an aromatisse, things didn't exactly go to plan last time
SM: Elo Bandit vs Waylaid - the tb game doesn't count because it was after drip and mish won, so you're still only 4-4, so win and make it 5-4
ORAS: Synonimous vs Irene - you're just gonna click better, I can already see the win, RADU is probably building which may make the games a little tougher but you just click better anyways
BW: dreepy vs LpZ - Grand Slam XIII champion, and just a goated 1v1 player, need I say more?

Thwackeys yall fished up a big one last week with the win over the Barras
Now go fish up that chip RADU so desperately needs

SV Bo7: Lumii vs Blanched:
...
Based on the past two-months of SV replays, Blanched has shown to have firmly developed a tightly compact, but impressively well usage of certain mons and meshing them together to combat the majority of the top viable mons as well as showcasing a shifting clicking-pattern that allows them to reliably reuse teams during the same series without the drawbacks of their opponent knowing what they will click. On the flip-side, we have Lumii, whom I perceive tends to focus on the majority of their teams on a single "alpha" mon where the other two support the weaknesses of it, such as their Primarina in Gen 9 and Tyranitar in Gen 4. What I can predict for their series is that the first 2-3 games will have teams that have been developed alongside their teammates, while the rest are teams solely crafted by themselves, whether through experimentations on ladder or using bo-bobson27's new EV Optimizer for Damage Calcs (
). Overall, I expect this match to be the highlight of Finals. Although evenly matched, I'm personally rooting for Lumii after they brought the Rhyperios to Semis last PL, and hoping for them to finish what they started this week.

SV Bo5: Murm vs DripLegend
...
Let me just say, BIG fan of DripLegend. Back when I first got truly invested in 1v1 during 1v1 Masters in 2023, the main 3 players I looked up to for inspiration for my teams were Delemon, aka, Canadian Nemona; DEG, aka, Dream Eatin G(engar)angster; and of course, DripLegend, aka, The only other 1v1 player I've seen mention Master Detectives: Rain Code ^^. I've observed many of their SV teams, and I believe that their team-building skills are on par with the likes of Delemon, as they've truly made use of the specific utility that each member can provide to formulate a team with minimal weaknesses, and they have the clicking power to make-up for any glaring weaknesses in a 2-1 match-up. I look forward to seeing what teams he will make now that it's been a bit of time since Ogerpon-H is gone. In the other corner of the ring we have Murm, whom I've initially always remembered as the only competitively-elite player to use a Lvl1 Carbink. Along with Torterra, Arcanine, and a handful of others, Murm has consistently shown that they are able to be make normally underused mons capable of consistently beating top-tier mons. Unfortunately, checking replays online the data ends at May 2024, as I assume the whole event that deleted thousands of replays is the reason behind this. So going off memory of me sparring them on ladder under my Lieutenant Morag alt back in 2023, I believe that their teams tend to be much more flexible than Drip's: while less powerful overall, their teams will have less certain 3-0 matchups, and this is where I believe Murm's creativity will greatly boost his likelihood of victory. All in all, I'm expecting to cheer for Drip when he wins, but Murm can potentially hold enough firepower to gun down even the Thwackys themselves.

SV Bo5: Kala chasmah vs Jamez
...
Last but not least, we have the final two players competing for their teams' SV slots. Personally, I do not have much SV info regarding Jamez outside of this PL and the 1v1 ladder tour, but looking at their performances in other gens, I can safely assume that they are a competent player that can easily utilize the SV knowledge of Drip and Blanched as a foundation for their teams this week. Given how they were qualified for the 1v1 ladder tour in the first round at a whopping 1683 Elo, it is evident that their clicking abilities will likely be superior compared to Kala's. Honestly, I couldn't tell you what mons I expect them to bring to the table, but be sure that whatever cards they have they'll likely have a mon that 2-1 most standard teams. Hailing from the other side of the globe, its Kala Chasmah representing the RPS Rhyperiors as well as the Staraptors Hyderabads in the HPL5 tournament. Given how I've noticed a handful of those in the Hindi community using the same teams on ladder and in tours, I expect for whatever teams they use in this tour to be used again in the Hindi PL. That's not to say there's anything bad with that, as I've observed that Hindi 1v1 teams focus on being anti-meta while using meta mons, and are usually solid enough to be used as sample teams. Regardless, I perceive Kala to have more knowledge of Gen 9 specifically, and with the right team-structure support from Lumii and Murm, they can produce a well-balanced set of teams. However, I still think Jamez clutches with this one, and am looking forward to seeing how their past Gen 7 matches will translate to the construction of their new teams.

Good luck to everyone playing! You'd better make this an entertaining finale for the rest of us ^^

RPS Rhyperiors (5) vs (3) Trigger-Happy Thwackeys
SV Bo7: Lumii vs Blanched: I've been more convinced by Rhyps SV building in general. Blanched feels a bit more beatable in general, so I think we'll see a repeat of week 1.
SV Bo5: Murm vs DripLegend: Murm won vs Megarays twice so I can't really not bold him. I'm predicting both to build similarly well, but Murm will outpick to win 3-1.
SV Bo5: Kala chasmah vs Jamez: I don't really know anything about Jamez, but it looks like his only SV experience is with ladder tour, where he did well on ladder but lost twice in playoffs. I think he will still lack the tournament experience to win vs Kala - basically mainer diff.
SS Bo7: Here Comes Team Charm! vs Mishlef: Definitely not because I'm salty about the luser series. This seems like a close series, 40/60 to Mishlef.
SS Bo5: ihbst vs xdRudi.exe
SM: Elo Bandit vs Waylaid: Youtuber diff. I think Elo just has a better understanding of the metagame.
ORAS: Synonimous vs Irene
BW: dreepy vs LpZ: Dreepy's winning streak got disturbed but they'll pull one more win out the bag to secure a strong season.

Good luck everyone!

as i said i'll write predicts for finals even though we're out. i'll write shoutouts in a separate posts but real quick just wanted to say that i love all of u @barras and i'd run it all back if i could. go rhyps!

RPS Rhyperiors 4-4 Trigger-Happy Thwackeys
SV Bo7: Lumii vs Blanched - tossup and what decides the series imo. both are extremely good and on top of the tier in a way that only a few other names are (emil delemon giboney) so it comes down who plays better. i think blanched has a significantly higher floor than lumii as she's had some really low lows throughout the season so it really depends on how lumii's feeling on match day, but as of right now i'm gonna make the read that she will simply want it more. highlight.
SV Bo5: Murm vs DripLegend - driplegend is a lot better than murm as seen by tb this weekend but murm had some pretty botted sets in semis, if he can get his prep to hit like he did in semis i could see him taking it but with normal mu's i would favour drip in 3. cool seeing two managers face off in finals as i've been preaching the importance of manager performances all season; whoever loses this could singlehandedly cost his team the tour.
SV Bo5: Kala chasmah vs Jamez - i'd probably bold jamez if this happened in like masters because i trust him to figure out SV and then just outclick bc i think he's good, however i do think lumii prep will be the difference maker here as kala + lumii has proven to be a solid combo throughout the entire season and lumii will surely care a lot considering it's finals.
SS Bo7: Here Comes Team Charm! vs Mishlef - after watching charm vs luser in semis i thought there'd be no way i'd be bolding them in finals yet here we are; mishlef somehow won an even less deserved series than charm did however hctc was apologetic about it which invokes bad karma whereas mishlef trolled about it so the game will reward him again. mishlef is quite possibly the worst person to schedule with but hctc will not let him make them play at 4am so their superior understanding of the tier + stronger raw clicking ability + better looks & personality will make them win this series in 5
SS Bo5: ihbst vs xdRudi.exe - still not buying into rhyps ss2 even if the slot has been winning recently. rudi lost to me in semis but was the only person to take me to g5 in reg ssn so he's good obviously. grats on making olt poffs xdRudi.exe go kill em beast !!!
SM: Elo Bandit vs Waylaid - waylaid lost in tb but with that is still positive in SM, i've always rated him highly and was actually pretty scared of facing him in SS if it came to that for tb, lol. elo bandit similarly lost a series after the week was already over to IC in semis so neither of them have too much momentum here which makes me trust in waylaid bc i think that guy's actually very good
ORAS: Synonimous vs Irene - irene has the better record here but i feel if u actually look at the context synon's series were played in + the games themselves it's pretty clear that he's been really good all season and in general is just a player i'm high on. do think thwackeys will presumably have way better support here though but i just don't think it matters as much in oras which is a very well developed gen where the clicker difference will probably give synon the edge here.
BW: dreepy vs LpZ - congratulations to my goat lpz for winning slam!! that guy's fucking awesome love to see him succeed. both of these players have been real solid all season, dreepy went 5-0 to 5-3 but 2 of the 3 were palestine so can't stress it that much and lpz has been very respectable too. i trust radu's support in this tier a lot so gonna bold the grand slampion in what may be a bit of an upset here? unsure.

predicted a tie so i'll predict a tiebreaker for fun

SV Bo7: Lumii vs DripLegend - Drip slotted into the tb bo7 over blanched vs us so i imagine he'd do so vs rhyps too? and he rolled a stronger oppo there so i would expect him to do it again there too, but this would be a very big highlight either way.
Thwackeys pick would be whoever of their 5-7 wins i think, i'd probably go with waylaid again but i could see a BW pick working out well here. reasoning being that apparently lumii would consider slotting herself into bw and then murmdog bo7? at least that's what she said she'd do vs megarays. and at that point the tour just ends i think.
SM: Elo Bandit vs Waylaid - this would be a rerun that i don't really have too much interesting to say about, think waylaid takes it again. would bold lpz over bw lumii too fwiw
Rhyperiors pick will likewise be determined by who wins this week i think, if they 3-0 sv it'll be sv2 i could also realistically see it being ss7 or oras.
SV Bo5: Murm vs Blanched - if they pick sv2 we probably don't actually end up with drip bo7 now that i think about it but i would love to see two new mu's in those two slots as i think all 4 players involved are good and cool to watch.

i think this would be a very fun tiebreak to see happen especially because there's definitely not a 100% correct/safe bet for either team with their tier pick, so hoping it does indeed go to tiebreaker. rooting for my friends you know who you are, and let's have some good matches all :)

this is a huge match we all know that so i'll take my predicts more seriously.
:sv/rhyperior: The Big Bang Theory (bandit is sheldon, murm is leonard, urfgurgle is howard, do not ask about the other characters) (3.5) vs (4.5) 252 Atk Choice Band Thwackey Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Solid Rock Rhyperior in Grassy Terrain: 516-612 (118.8 - 141%) -- guaranteed OHKO :sv/thwackey:

SV Bo7: Lumii vs Blanched
This matchup is very hard to decipher, these two players are extremely strong and extremely capable of winning their series, i doubt it will be a 4-0 for Lumii like last time, Blanched will put on a fight and Lumii will fight back, I would give the slight edge to Blanched here because, Lumii's style of playing differs on her mood, but I have no doubt that if she gets motivated, she can take the win, so i'm keeping it tied.
50/50

SV Bo5: Murm vs DripLegend

There really isn't much to say here honestly, it's the circuit champion, we've seen this match before, he won in four, i rhyme with words... you get it.
(hi future bern here just checked that drip won in 3¿ so my rhyme doesn't work :c)
25/75

SV Bo5: Kala chasmah vs Jamez

Holy hell they are finally doing Jamez SV that is huge, tell me a more expensive SV trio i'll wait (i think delemon + me + sufys costed 50k and they cost 51k so), anyway Jamez SV is something we haven't seen since LT and that is the huge element of surprise thwackeys need to win the tour (he tried out against me and won in 5 btw, not a high bar but hey it's a bar!).
30/70

SS Bo7: Here Comes Team Charm! vs Mishlef

Another matchup we've seen before and while I do think that Mishlef improved... a lot, since week 1, so has HCTC, and I do think this is also another matchup that's gonna come down to the wire (to g7), good luck to both, but i'm giving the edge to HCTC just cuz i think they have slightly better experience with the tier.
55/45

SS Bo5: ihbst vs xdRudi.exe

Two newbloods duke it out in SS Bo5, this will be fun, i will side with most and underline rudi though, they've just had a way better run than ihbst and honestly I was half-expecting they would finally put Fragments here, but alas. Though that doesn't mean Fragments isn't supporting in the background, he definitely is, I just think that him with like Murm and Urf support probably won't hold a candle to Jamez+Mish+Blanched support, though i'm no stranger to upsets so i don't think ihbst has no chance here.
35/65

SM Bo5: Elo Bandit vs Waylaid

Extremely close matchup, will go to game 5, huge highlight, blah blah blah, i'm underlining bandit because of experience like it's elo bandit, you get the point.
55/45

ORAS Bo5: Synonimous vs Irene

Synonimous is kinda like neomon, in the sense that when he thinks he's gonna lose, he ends up winning, and that happens when he plays stronger players like Litt, Ink, and Waylaid, but on the other hand, he ends up losing against weaker players because he thinks he has the upper hand, and that happened against torterraxx in semis after he beat him once, since he thought he had the upper hand after beating him, it also happened against SEROO, a player that despite winning against Litt the previous week and having a good WC performance, we hadn't seen much of in a while, so he thought he had the upper hand. This is why I think Synonimous once again will believe he has the upper hand against Irene, and now that I'm saying it Synonimous might see this post and switch gears about his thinking, even so I think Irene is an extremely strong player and will take the win, still an close match tho.
40/60

BW Bo5: dreepy vs LpZ

Congrats to LpZ on winning Grand Slam, super deserved! Oh yeah 1v1, anyway i've always believed in dreepy airlines, she's probably one of the closest friends i've had in PS! and it's great to see her play in tours like OGPL and regular PL. This is why just like in Week 1 I'm bolding her, especially because since Week 1 she has grown into a way better player than we would've expected, sure she's 5-3, but two losses are to palestine so pretty much 5-2, and LpZ, while definitely not a bad player, has definitely shown some lower lows than dreepy (doug is not bad at the game he just got matched up against superstrong opponents ultra instinct palestine and taka taka taka taka).
65/35

The overall is 355 - 445 in Thwackeys's favor, and while i think this will be an absolute highlight of matchups left and right, I can say that rhyps definitely have a chance at tiebreak or even winning altogether, it'll just come down to how the series are played. Ultimately though, we know what decides this matchup...

Monopoke: Urfgurgle vs One Last Kiss
1724701487542.png

(btw what i'm about to say was after looking at the mons for 5 minutes)
Bisharp: Low Kick is a move that exists, Metal Burst is also a move that exists, Chople Berry is an item that exists, Sucker Punch stops Custap, you can opt for Focus Blast if you're feeling lucky, a lot of options with this guy.
Drowzee: It's an Encore + Disabler, not much to say here, it gets Night Shade for consistent damage, you can run Colbur to be neutral to Knock Off.
Gallade: Sharpness Shadow Claw is strong, you can also go Kasib Encore Disable.
Pupitar: It's weak to its own STAB, I'm thinking this one will come down to the speed tie, or maybe you can try Shuca Dragon Dance.
Wartortle: Aqua Ring + Leftovers + Rest sounds interesting, you can also play around with Shell Smash though remember it has Haze, you can try Whirlpool Withdraw and try to win the stall war, anything can work really.

Onto the match itself, Urfgurgle has really strong Monopoke support in Elo Bandit, while OLK has support in... idk does radu build? you guys are gonna have to need heavy help on this one thwackeys.
70/30

Like Urfgurgle said, BE THERE OR BE SQUARE.
GOOD LUCK HAVE FUN EVERYONE.

RPS Rhyperiors (3) vs (5) Trigger-Happy Thwackeys
SV Bo7: Lumii vs Blanched Blanched seems to have developed a style of prepping hes really comfortable with by now and has looked a lot better than earlier in/before the tour. I haven't seen a Lumii series since week 3 but she cried Real Tears after winning last week so emotional availability diff?
SV Bo5: Murm vs DripLegend
SV Bo5: Kala chasmah vs Jamez yeah ok kala won vs slip and James has admitted to being washed but like come on lol. Unrelated but GAY RIGHTS!
SS Bo7: Here Comes Team Charm! vs Mishlef Top 3 worst ss series ever aside (charm if there was any confusion), both players are pretty good but have been equally prone to loading teams they struggle to win with. The average loaded mishlef mon is a lot more viable at least so I will give him the edge. Tbh I'm not sure I recall a charm tech botting anyone and thats pretty bad when you are loading stuff like scarf rotom-heat. Hope charm wins btw. Not because of semis tb I just like them more btw. Mishlef
SS Bo5: ihbst vs xdRudi.exe Rudi was pretty easy to prep into but rhyps ss2 has just been a trainwreck, I don't think they can clear the median player hurdle.
SM: Elo Bandit vs Waylaid LOL this guy lost to me in sm. highkey a ban from the book club angle but im generous <33 c:
ORAS: Synonimous vs Irene The thwackeys oras lab figured out how to stop losing to program when it mattered most last week so props to them. eas been shaky at points but hes one of the few actual mainers in the pool so I imagine he will show out in finals.
BW: dreepy vs LpZ the dreepy x-0 was fun while it lasted but theres been major gaps in overall play intuition that are starting to show. Lpzs also overperformed as a player and RADU is regrettably bw god so

rooting for the thwackeys so drip can buy a new birkin bag ^_^

Los Angeles Lakers (4) vs (4) Shanghai Sharks
SV Bo7: Lumii vs Blanched
i don’t feel confident in lumiibron james bringing gouging prim x7 and managing to out click blanched here, thwackeys sv building has been solidly aggressive as of late and blancheds clicking has looked good
SV Bo5: Murm vs DripLegend
we’ve seen this before do u really trust bronny james to defeat dripwayne bacon after he remembered he could ball back in his prime @rhyps? cardiac arrest in 4
SV Bo5: Kala chasmah vs Jamez
james (self proclaimed washed btw) retirement tour takes a detour into sv. I really don’t see the thwackeys sv focusing on anything but their star players here. this mu is getting slid under the table (just like kalas ps logs /srs)
SS Bo7: Here Comes Team Charm! vs Mishlef
idk if max can handle charm technology considering even when he does get a 3-0 it isn’t clicked and openly lies (u a literal shark bro /j) (#free aliss) (not biased btw)
SS Bo5: ihbst vs xdRudi.exe
idc
SM: Elo Bandit vs Waylaid
shanghai ain’t got access to the new nike recovery boot (elo got that technology) which both of these sm geezers would want in an mu like this.
ORAS: Synonimous vs Irene
losing to nathan is a mental shot nobody should have to go through (speaking from experience, love u nathan) realistically though finals ea vs irene swings in ea’s favor but this could go either way especially since the thwackeys oras is in its prime (shoutouts no losing to program 2024! gc)
BW: dreepy vs Jimmer Freddete
oh how the eepy have fallen. Im doubtful lumiis focus is going to be 100% here #itscomplicated especially vs radus ability to put his whole focus on prep. jimmer freddete in 3

no flame directed forwards anyone obv #shanghaiforlifer love yall see you next year

im usually the type to write a bunch and i have a lot to say about this season. s/o 2 Heika first of all, hosting in this section is something many stray away from and it is very appreciated to have people like you to come in that aren't that familiar with us and devote the time to it.

1725304899918.png

overall the plan literally went to a t and we got all we wanted from the pool really. I was already excited going into this tour since my last PL i mainly flopped due to lack of experience and an admittedly shoddy draft plan which didn't benefit the workload on me in the slightest. even with me being overly cheap I do have a chance of becoming slightly dead due to irl/Other Shit so the main things i was looking for was more reason to care and once the season kicked off i knew there would be absolutely zero issue with that whatsoever.

first of all i wanna thank all the people here for the vibes/playoffs push it was great having you on board and more than just prepping you really did keep adding to the cord and culture which went a long way in keeping the morale up / making our server so much fun :) Bopher lolebruh 413X DEG neomon A Hero's Destiny stravench SuperMemeBroz Vertigo (ily <3) Potatochan sasha bo_bobson27

LRXC you also apply to the aforementioned category but you really did give me a lot of help specifically and knowing that I could put a man with ADHD to work in multitasking prep/etc. really clutched up for the 45 minutes at a time i had you in my channel. without the help from you idk how many teams miyoko would've even had for this tour lmfaooooo. hopefully we finally get the meetup after all these years man, even if you weren't a part of the team officially you definitely made this cord special and were a workhorse in SV. don't forget me after the internet fame and hope the break from streaming is treating you well since you definitely earned it. <3

DannyDoritos i've never really interacted with you before this tour but we've had a few run-ins here and there so i knew OF you more than anything else. this tour was a really awesome chance to actually talk with you even if you weren't actually on the roster and just hangin out. hopefully we talk more in the future :D special shoutout for being my fishy goatttt it puts a smile on my face (hahahaha) when i see u fishing for me unironically. if you ever need vouching for in team tours just give me the word, just overall a fun guy to have around and definitely someone to keep an eye out for in the Masters losers bracket rn >:).

now onto my actual thwackeys and not the ones there in spirit

Feaniix even if you didn't play a ton due to slots being way more set than we first originally thought it was nice having you on board. it was fun seeing u come back to rally even though you had other commitments which is always appreciated. u mentioned a while ago kinda having a funk and i hope u found your way out of it :), good luck in whatever tours you find yourself in in the future.

One Last Kiss you said this is probably the first PL you didn't really do much and i hope u enjoyed the break! even if we didn't slot you because we had a lot of slots turn out way better at the beginning than we thought, you still were rly fun to have around and u clutched up calling irene to stop potential act calls. you also have this banger log which makes me want to use the pointing emoji every time i ask something. and even then you were the one to put us on to irene in the first place when she had a really great first season, hopefully you get the chance to play more in the future and i'd love to give you that shot at some point if it goes that way :D.
1725331956086.png

Irene even if we didn't work a ton together beyond testing since my oras is hella out of form building wise, you really went the extra mile to get better and play more this tour which i couldn't ask for more out of a 3k pickup. you really did do well for your first tour here and it was fun having you along for the ride, a silent assassin for the most part since you came in, did your job and then left after dropping a >fish.

LpZ my blue trophy bro, even if i didnt play bw i was always hype to see how involved you were with the slot and how fast you were able to pick it up and kinda cook everyone. i think you put it best when you said "i dont main tiers i main pokemon" since we kinda passed you teams and the rest followed LOL. you had some spurts of rly bad luck which made your record dip a bit lower than any of us would have thought through the effort you put in but you should still hold your head high since you clutched up big for us and won us the ring. gz on the slam trophy man and hope u cook in scl too, gl in that pu pool it looks insane LMAO.

xdRudi.exe mein goatttttttt. i still remember the random eimm game where we first started talking LMAO. even tho we got fucked over in that at least we were able to team in mons and get the chip. you really picked up ss fast and really put the time in to learn and improve which is the fundamentals of being a great team player and you've got the ethic to go far. gl in both officials man rooting for you and i love watching you play whatever, i believe in rudi trophy...also wtf is good in tft bro i gotta hit gold

Miyoko i've known u for a while and seen you around a ton just in room or playing x tour in circuit and you rly popped off in swiss which was the main factor in working with you. it was a lot of fun getting to know u more/build with you and i see a lot of potential for you in the future, hopefully you enjoyed the ride also :). whenever u would reply to my walls of text with something like "sounds good boss" i knew i made the right choice and you were about to cook.

Jamez this probably isn't how you expected to end this tour (even tho you should've at least been 2-3 after this week!!) but even if you weren't putting up performances you were used to, you still were a really important piece for us. the super sub ready to go in at any moment and you really locked in for finals even if the end result didn't show anything. you've said this could be a retirement tour for you and if it ends up being that im glad we could end with another win for ya.

Mishlef you are definitely the most mishlef-esque person i know. not in a bad way but you really do operate in your own way and kinda blaze the trail for yourself and it shows a lot in how you carry yourself/work in prep. regardless of what outside forces do or say you always stay true to yourself which i admire about you. getting you for like 8.5 was really sick even if the "stocks were down" or people weren't as high on you previously and everyone loves a comeback/redemption arc. not only did you carry the SS building while making sure ur usage was as diverse (ugly) as possible, you did give us some good questions to go on in other gens and were always looking to help which gave me a lot less stress when i felt like i wasn't able to contribute as much in our older gens. hopefully ur school stuff works out this semester im rooting for ya :)

Blanched you really came back at the perfect time. even if you weren't acquainted with sv a ton at the start of this tour boy did we start popping off once it got down to it. i thank you for taking the bo7 slot this tour even if i do enjoy the format the ability to consistently have enough to load without disrupting usage of other slots or reusing more than one team a series takes a lot of care and commitment, as well as resilience to not burn out. but also fuck you since u ran from delemon and everyone said i ego slotted LOL im not forgetting that bud. you did cook a bit too hard for me to FULLY agree with sometimes (i still think klefki is garbooooo) you really did take your spin on the tier/meta and run with it which was refreshing and really fun to see. can't wait to see what you end up going for in the future since you've done a lot to re-establish yourself as someone to respect in current gen and i'm looking forward to another chance of teaming up again. hf with the salmon and crabs and fishies for me.

Waylaid my former co-man. I've teamed with you in every non-wc teamtour in this tier and usually in auction when u come up theres the obligatory "PLEASE UPBID DRIP HE'S NOT LETTING HIM GO" and ngl they are right LMAO. there's not much of a better way to put that i like teaming with you than just outright saying it. we kinda just hit it off and it feels like i've known you for a while even if it's only been around a year at this point and it's always been fun having you along for the ride. whenever i get a dm to hop on smash or something of the like it always puts a little smile on my face since it's always fun to play (even tho u fucking CHEAT in everything no way ur naturally better than me) and i know we'll be able to just shoot shit about life or whatever for a few hours. i know you're not used to these kinds of records/performances lately but you still came in every week wanting to ball and lock back in for our team. even when you got knocked down you never gave up on yourself at the end of the day even when you had tough losses and went into the next week looking to get your lick back. the finals loss might sting a bit but i know if we went to tb your ass was gonna clutch it out for us no doubt. glad the two of us got it together for this year after last year it was hard for us to even make the last playoffs scramble for the 4th seed at all, gz on winning three, three 1v1pls man very deserved.

RADU my current co. i really don't know where to start with this but you definitely were the heart and soul of our team. actively building, scouting, bitching about act calls/sub situations, and everything else you went the whole 9 yards for. our draft was really possible to succeed this well due to how much work you put in on that end and it made me want to do my best also so nothing you ever did was going to waste. i'm still glad you decided to team up with me (mainly since my price was broken keeeek) and i've known you for a while and all around you're just a great guy. you worry about this trophy not being yours but you easily put in the most effort on this team hands down. if anyone deserves this ring it is for sure you and i'm sure the rest of the team can testify to how much you did for us and just the love and care you have for the game. it's been a blessing to know you and it was for sure a blessing that we were able to win this tour together. even before this tour i considered us to be decent friends but it was a shit ton of fun doing this tour with you and easily the most fun i've been able to have on this site. if i'm ever lucky enough to have you as a co again i'd take up the offer to run it back in a (bi)heartbeat.

easily the most fun tour i've been able to play in and this team had a whole bunch of amazing people that made the experience so much fun. kinda easy to get caught up in the winning/playing games portion but at the end of the day everyone is here to play and have fun in their own ways which makes wins where the team has a ton of fun throughout the season so much sweeter. as for me im fairly burnt out so don't expect a ton of tour sightings for a minute (i've done like every team tour back to back and managed all but one i've been in T_T) but this tier is still near and dear to my heart so it's kinda hard to just leave even if i'd be going out with a fresh win. ggs rhyperiors even if that was possibly the most minmaxed luck i've seen in any finals i've seen lately i can't act like i wasn't dying inside watching any series during finals.

was a great tour to share with all of you and hopefully everyone can have as much fun playing this format as i did this year
also last s/o to misobot my queen
