Hey, what kind of music do you like?

This place really seems great in many ways; its awesome work could continue just fine without massacring new users who make a mistake.

If you have done some of this in the past don't feel bad about it, that would be silly, just make sure you never do it again :)

I just wish it was safe for new users to post in the misc. forum. It is not a new user's fault if they post a first post of a topic without the basis of an intelligent discussion. No other site I visit requires this. A bad enough experience at a place like this can cause serious emotional trauma.

Before coming down hard on a 'bad' topic I wish members would take a moment to consider the needs of people less intelligent than them.

Heh, maybe if that one thing magically changed I could get over my unhealthy obsession with that element of this place :D I still can't get that out of my mind.

There are things I personally don't like about Smogon, but obviously I have no power to change them whether I post or not. And maybe it's best that I don't change them, even if I could.

Whether or not people give a hoot about me is not high on my priorities :)

you REALLY shouldn't care about how "useful" you are here. If you want to contribute to good repetition and state, don't; contribution doesn't necessarily equal respect/better state.

If you want to contribute for the sake of contributing and making take part in shaping the community for your own self-purpose (not for others), then do contribute what you can.

It's not like the community will give a flying fuck for you if you contribute more.

Now I'm worried that I shouldn't have made a post like I did in the other languages thread x_x It probably doesn't help anything.

This place is too stressful for me, probably because I take things too seriously. It's just in my nature. I shouldn't come here much I think. I might be better off at Serebii forums (or just staying around GameFAQs where I can actually help sometimes). It's hard to forget what happened to me here though.

At least you have giveaways according to your sig, all I have is my avatar style hype and fail attempts in trolling hahaah.

Oh yeah, lol, the place my family lives isn't air-conditioned, so the heat was probably making me a little crazy too.

I did make an account recently at Serebii :) but I haven't posted there yet. I started accounts both places at the same time to try to give away Vulpixes. Well actually I did post about the Vulpixes in their Vulpix trade forum, but it didn't get any responses and when the giveaway was over I deleted the post.

Hmm, do you want a Vulpix lol? (or a different Dream World ability pokemon, I have a bunch)

Oh, it's nothing to worry about. Posting and reading posts at an intellectual place like this is something I almost never do, and it is taxing for me, lol. In addition to that, when I saw an edit to one of my posts it really shocked me badly. Those two things together caused a minor nervous breakdown, and after that they left my chest hurting for a day or two. But partially thanks to you, the hurt in my chest has been replaced with a much nicer feeling in my chest :)

Alright :) Within a few days I'll try to start posting again a little.

Crazy as it sounds I'm still not done physically recovering from what happened when I first started here. It really hurt, physically.

But not staying after how nice Shiny Mew2 has been to me would hurt even more, and I haven't been warned or banned or anything for my dumb posts in the one suggestions thread, so I think I will come back and post more :)

I'm not really that interesting of a person to have around though, lol. It is only rare that I say anything funny or important.

I really hope you haven't really quit. You're not a bad user whatsoever. Believe me, there are terrible users out there posting away, and I don't think you were ever one of them. a forum is just a trolly place and people can be mean. It takes time for all of us to adjust to being a good user here. I personally received 3 infractions in my first 3 or so months of being here, even at one point having "i could be banned" status. I'd like to believe I'm a good user now, and I have no doubt that you could greatly benefitsmogon with your presence. Please reconsider your departure. I would hate to see someone pushed away because he was not accustomed to this site.

Stay at the wi-fi or dragon spiral tower. People there are a lot friendlier.
