I am what I am, of course I am anthropocentric. Everyone is but it's not a religion it's a malignancy within our own thought processes thanks to evolution. It was useful at one point, but in a global world like this it's pretty terrible. Observers bias is a powerful thing, it is why relativity was such a breakthrough. That's why the scientific method exists- it's the best tool we have (right now) for working through problems and eliminating, as best we can, various biases. It at least mitigates the shitstorm, whereas religion feeds it like some sort of George Clooney perfect shitstorm.

No, it's realistic. It is basic logic to say "I can observe this, or its effect, therefore it must exist". I am not fully sold on quantum mechanics and don't really know enough to speak of it otherwise.

Love is actually a cascade of chemical reaction in the brain that are really well resolved. Lanturn314 in is neuroscience at Johns Hopkins and I will refer you to her on that matter for accuracy's sake, but I do know off the top of my head that chemicals like Dopamine and etc are involved. Just ask her the chemicals and reactions and etc involved in love, it's really quite simple to understand I am just forgetful of such things.

Trying to invoke love is still kind of god of the gapish of you. How personality manifests is a great big gap, but I'm confident it can (and will) be resolved. It exists, it can be measured, therefore we can understand it.

Also see God of the Gaps- there is admittedly a question mark there and you are placing God there with no real evidence. What happens when/if we solve that question with God already being your answer? That could do a lot of damage to your faith. So your view is that creation happened and there has to be a guiding force, but offer up no further explanation. That means you've fallen into a religious pitfall of begging the question, which means you knew the answer was a God before the question was asked in the first place. Further to that, a large assumption is that there is a being creating things. Furthering that, you are assuming it has all the qualities that are placed on it by people who have never encountered it. You are piling up assumption after assumption which is intellectually irresponsible.

My view acknowledges the lack of information but goes one step further- employing the ever useful Occam's Razor (simplest explanation is most often going to be right), I simply remove the middleman (God) the powers it may have and the desires and thoughts as well.
