    I used to write a lot of articles for The Smog, Smogob's webzine before Tge Flying Press. Someone created a Smoochum avatar for me styled after J. Jonah Jameson, Peter Parker's boss/editor from Spider Man. I found it so hilarious that it stuck with me. I forget exactly who created it originally, but they were a great artist.

    Am I allowed to submit my thoughts on a PR topic to potentially be put in the thread? I’m planning on giving my 2 cents on a seperate Banlist (if you’re curious, I think we should have a seperate tier list, but either go with jas’ solution, only doing it in between processes. We also should be conservative with unbans, at least for now. Like basically just MMeta from what I can think of off the top of my head)

While I'm Centrist and thus align myself with portions of both Republican and Democratic issues, I still respect you having intelligent responses to all the backlash you're being given.     Hahahah so funny! Did you know that gender is indeed not a social construct and that trans folk existing does not imply a binary, simply folks who go from one end of the gender spectrum to another? Have you ever actually had a conversation with a trans person? If gender was a social construct then trans people wouldn’t exist. Maybe, just maybe, gender is maybe biopsychological and has to do with one’s brain?

    Err, "trans" is short for transition. As in to change your identification / presentation from one biological sex to the other one. Of which there are two. The binary isn't implied, it's objective. Do you have a Y chromosome or not? Did it manifest? For 99%+ of people the answer to these questions are paired as either both yes or both no. If the answers don't match you are intersex, a genetic malfunction/ mutation.

    Trans may have many interpretations but it is here to stay, even if it usually involves some form of change for those who identify.

    Now that only Flavor Ability remains, would it be possible to implement Pajantom on Showdown yet?
    Just a question about the current CAP; is the movepool submission stage planned to end before or after USUM's release (that is, just a few days from now)? I don't think it's good for optics to force people to keep up with pre-release leaks in order to compose a legal submission in time.

    Unfortunately, per the Smogon Discord USUM updates will be ready to go live on the date of release. Those applications are global on PS and will necessarily impact what is legal on the CAP Ladder.
    We're currently having a discussion in staff over whether to have an SM tourney which would "fudge" USUM tutors into SM [like we used to do with Gen 3 tutors on original CAPs] or do USUM tourney and ladder for Playtest.

    Basically, we're a community in which competitive spoilers are inherently woven into our main battling platform. We didn't have much of a choice in the matter from a practical standpoint.

    i hope ur not as foolish as the masses in that regard, the mistake that socialists would want a nanny state is all too common. most serious leftists only accept a larger amount of state intervention because in a capitalist system, it is preferable to a laissez-faire approach - essentially, a government that looks after its people and prevents it from dying due to famine and disease is preferable to one that lets half the population rot away if the free market so desires

    Corruption, shortage, and human rights violations are features of socialism, not bugs. That's why the biggest health problem among the poor in nations that embraced capitalism is obesity, not starvation. If capitalism has a problem, it's that it generates so much excess that entitlement and jealousy set in.

    You present your arguments in a manner far more civil than most cong posters and even if your opinions aren't appreciated the fact that you say them in the first place is important to stop cong from becoming a circlejerk.

    During gen 5, you wrote an awesome article about if Gen 1 had all gen 2-5 moves with the gen 1 mechanics. The research and intricacy inspired me to do the same for gen 6- after last year's approval I aim for the same this year!

    Didn't want to clutter the thread with this, but sorry for ig bad reasoning in Pyroak thread. Gets annoying seeing all the noob traps on PS! and having to explain why they're bad, so I felt like I needed to voice my opinion on that.
