[SET COMMENTS]
Dubwool's solid physical bulk in conjunction with Fluffy allows it to take hits well from physical attackers such as Dracovish. While this may look appealing, Dubwool is held back by a total lack of reliable recovery, leaving it prone to being worn down by status and chip damage. In addition, its limited movepool gives it very little coverage, leaving it completely walled by Ghost-types. Its ability Fluffy also gives it an additional weakness to Fire, crippling it against foes that it would otherwise be able to check such as Galarian Darmanitan. Dubwool's weaknesses largely outweigh its strengths, making it unviable in OU. Cotton Guard raises Dubwool's already high physical bulk while also raising the power of Body Press, allowing Dubwool to function as a serviceable bulky wallbreaker. Thunder Wave allows Dubwool to cripple faster threats like Galarian Darmanitan and Gengar for the rest of the match. Body Slam is Dubwool's most reliable STAB move and also gives it a chance to paralyze otherwise troublesome threats. The given EV spread maximizes Dubwool's physical bulk in order to raise the power of Body Press, while 152 Speed EVs allow Dubwool to outspeed Adamant Dracovish.
As Dubwool cannot damage Ghost-types, teammates that can switch into Ghost-types and threaten them such as Mandibuzz and Hydreigon are appreciated. Specially defensive Pokemon such as Mandibuzz and Clefable can switch into special attackers like Dragapult that would otherwise threaten Dubwool immensely due to its only above average special bulk. Clefable in particular also provides Wish support for Dubwool, giving it some form of longevity in order to allow it to keep switching into attacks.
