SM OU Shuckle Stall team

Shuckle @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SpD
Calm Nature
- Shell Smash
- Infestation
- Toxic
- Rest
I use this when they have a pokemon that doesn't have nasty plot or sword dance. First i trap them then i get to max defense and special defense and rest when needed.

Serperior (F) @ Meadow Plate
Ability: Contrary
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spe
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Tail
- Synthesis
- Substitute
I should probably change this one because it hasn't been too useful, it's only good in certain types of situations like this one
Clefable @ Leftovers

Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Cosmic Power
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
If they don't have a super effective move, clefable is a god. First i get down some cosmic powers and heal when needed, if they are a special attacker i get a lot of calm minds first and then kill them. I feel like i should replace moonblast because a lot of pokemon are resistant to it.

Rotom-Heat @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Shadow Ball
- Overheat
- Dark Pulse
This is the pokemon i always use at the start of a battle. It's pretty hard to one shot. My first move is practically always volt switch and then switch to toxapex or shuckle. I should probably switch out his life orb for something else but i don't know what.

Toxapex @ Leftovers
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 HP / 68 Def / 188 SpD
Careful Nature
- Baneful Bunker
- Recover
- Toxic Spikes
- Haze
My anti swords dance pokemon, i try to get down 2 layers of toxic spikes if they have no counter to it, then just keep it alive for as long as possible and maybe even try to kill their physical attacker with baneful bunker.

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
- U-turn
- Water Shuriken
- Hydro Pump
- Dark Pulse
My counter pokemon, if the opponent has a pokemon thats weakened by my volt switch or anything else i put this in. Then i do water shuriken and i transform into ash greninja. If they send in a grass type or anything else super effective i do u turn and switch to clefable or shuckle.

I usually win a battle by sweeping with clefable or shuckle.

These replays are all while i was developing the team, i'm probably not using the pokemon like i described them on here.
I also improved a lot since then so don't laugh at me for the thousands of mistakes i made.

I don't think Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse do much for Rotom, so I'd replace them with Hidden Power Ice and either Will-O-Wisp, Pain Split, or Thunderbolt.

replace baneful bunker with scald imo. you already have toxic; there's no point in baneful bunker just for protecting
That scald isn't going to do much with a 53 special attack stat. I could replace it with knockoff tho but the baneful bunker is good for stalling and even killing pokemon with the poison.

You're right, i never use the shadow ball and since i added greninja wich has dark pulse i can probably also miss out on that. I'll get hidden power ice, but the will o wisp doesn't really fit his role in my team and neither does thunderbolt. Are you telling me to use a focus sash and pain split or just raw pain split?

Damage output isn’t the point, the burn chance and not being tauntable is the reason it’s used

Raw pain split. Electric-Fire-Ice is already super great coverage, so you don't really need another attacking move type. Wisp gives Rotom more utility, Pain Split gives it longevity (especially against Chansey) while Tbolt gives a stronger Electric move that doesn't switch you out, just in case you run into a situation where Volt Switch is too weak or where switching would be sub-optimal.
