if you use this item (obv. offline and not holding an item) and the pokemon has a second ability you can change the first ability to the second.
Life Orb Gengar = 466 SpA
MegaGengar = 439
I still trade a bit lower SpA for MUCH HIGHER SPEED and... FRIGGIN SHADOWTAG. GAMEFREAK, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...
My personal Tiering for Megas:
God:
Gengar
S:
Blaziken
CharizardX
A:
Lucario
actually...Im too lazy to fill the rest. Everyone at work is thinking Im going hard right now because Im so focused on my laptop. These are FARoff ball park. I would love to see what you guys have planned
The Life Orb is a huge thing I think people are forgetting, as people have said. It needs to be said again though. These Megas seem to be keeping power on par to the Life Orb boost a normal Gengar/Aero/Lucario would be getting, so probably won't be as absurd as people think. Another thing to remember is that Mega Stones apparently can't be Tricked off (on purpose or by Accident) for a Life Orb or something. Its terrifying now to see base 170 SpA for Ampharos or Gengar, or 194 for Mewtwo Y, but it's similar to or weaker than the Life Orb counterparts. So ban calls and overall metagame freak outs need to chill until we see what happens in a few days/weeks/months when the "new game smell" starts to wear off.
252 SpA Mega Gengar (170 SpA) Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Sableye: 151-178 (49.67 - 58.55%)
252 SpA Life Orb Gengar Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Sableye: 161-191 (52.96 - 62.82%)
Yeah, it's scary. But stoppable thanks to its item-lock.
The guy who brought us Petal Blizzard is at the move relearner right now.
Greninja learns a new move called Mat Block which is a Protect clone that only blocks damaging moves.

It's a Ninja.Aurorus learns thunder wave by level up? I wonder... was it an ice/electric type before it was fossilized?
and where the hell does water stater pull a "mat" from???
Theres a video showing it stopping after 5 turnsSo was the weather nerf ever confirmed? or not?
The wording on "Mat Block" is curious... it makes it sound like it's a Protect that blocks damage on all of your team? That seems awfully powerful. The guy who brought us Petal Blizzard is at the move relearner right now.

Aurorus gets Freeze Dry as level 1 move and it is 70 BP.
Awesome. Thanks so much for posting these videos Pan! It's always nice to get confirmation :)I have no idea if its just for a battle - so be kind to me <3
Here's the knock off video for you guys <3 <Looking for hail inducer to confirm it aswell.
That's the move we saw Marill using in the trainer, isn't it? I was hoping for it to be called Roughhouse but okMawlie learns a new Fairy Move.
Play Rough
PP: 30
Power: 90
Accuracy: 90
It does damage and can lower the target's attack.
I'd just like to point out, that the Special Attack of 170 is about equivalent to the damage potential of Life Orb Gengar.
why would gengar even be hitting scizor with focus blast and not shadow ball?It can't even 2HKO a SDef-Scizor with Focus Blast - which, itself, is able to trap. It's to early for rushing out tiering-panic, we haven't even seen all Megas (things like Tyranitar), moves are missing, you don't know what stops Gengar cold this generation. For all we know, Mega-Mawile comes in on the Mega-Evolution, mega-evolves itself and sucker punches Gengar dead before this 2HKOs, if it subbed during evolution.
Probably. So Azumaril has a good Fairy STAB to use it's monstrous attack with. That's the move we saw Marill using in the trainer, isn't it? I was hoping for it to be called Roughhouse but ok
Modest Mega Gengar is faster and hits harder than Timid LO gengar.C'mon guys, it does less damage than Life Orb Gengar.. as I said on the previous page, you're still able to switch in a counter and it's still dead-weak on its physical side, so..
