Oh Yeah! Green Day - Iron Moth + Iron Defense Zamazenta booster spam


Ok so this team is a booster spam that is takes advantage of iron moth and iron defense Zamazenta all sharing checks such Toxapex and Mega latias, allowing them to be overwhelmed so then Pokemon like Ogerpon and Gouging can then easily clean a team. The team’s game plan is basically to use the power these Pokémon bring to wear down each other’s checks, allowing for easier cleanups in games, made easier by having good offensive threats like gouging fire, Zamazenta, and Ogerpon. Gouging fire and iron moth are fires that are able to wear down or straight up beat Pokémon like raging bolt, kartana, and Mega Latias for Ogerpon, allowing to just bowl over teams even easier than it already can. Iron Boulder is the main form of speed control, being the fastest thing in the metagame. Its able to wear down Pokémon like Alomomola, Toxapex, and Zapdos, and while it doesn’t beat all of these mons (Alomomola), it paves the way for Pokemon like Iron Defense Zamazenta or Gouging fire to sweep easier. Custap lando is an interesting lead, able to get up rocks and most likely boom on something due to custap berry even if it is faster, dealing significant damage to something and enabling the offenses. Waterpon is broken yadayada we all know what this dude does. Smashes through pretty much all of the metagame barring twave mtias and dragonite quite consistently with superpower. It also deals with waters that gouging fire and moth struggle with, such as Alomomola and Toxapex. Toxapex is a notable reason why power whip is used over horn leech, denting it much more than horn leech can, allowing for Pokémon like Idbp Zamazenta to roll over the rest of a team. Speaking of, while it may be weird on offense, Idbp Zamazenta is a very threatening win condition that should not be taken lightly, being able to 6-0 many structures that don’t have correct answers to it because of it exploiting passivity with substitute in conjunction with tera. It also appreciates its teammates wearing down potential checks in glowking and Toxapex so then this job is made much easier.

quick simple team i made to ladder with gallade as its one of my favourite pokemon and ended up reaching number 1 quite quickly it revolves around gallade having 0 switchins in the tier when given the scope lens an item that increases crit ratio its sharpness boosted moves high crit moves get given an even higher chance to crit and using flip turn from alomola and uturn mandibuzz to get gallade in safety in theres no mon in the tier that gallade doesnt ohkoed or get two shotted by it so when paired by a solid defensive core and wish support it becomes too much for most teams to handle

I was interested in np torn-t after chris's analysis on it and decided to give it a try. My first idea was to put it into a relatively fat structure which can utilize its regen to have multiple chances to break, and mscizor as another setup sweeper comes to me. Dnite outspeeds ogerpon at +1. Lando spread was found in a gen7 team 20000 years ago. The team works good and I planned to save it for wc, but later I realized that I won't want a setup sweeper with both moves at 70% accuracy in a wc game. Hence, it is here, but it is a good team to play around, so this is a Sample Submission.

The mon I wanted to build around. Hyperoffense has a hard time with well-constructed fat, as few stallbreakers can cover everything stall throws at you. Moreover, Mlop has been seeing less usage on fat, so I decided to use taunt moonlight bloodmoon. This has a lot of favourable traits, being very bulky under screens, taking around 40% from Supereffective attacks under screens. Moreover, with access to taunt, it already makes a stall matchup favourable. What makes it so great is the breaking power of constant bloodmoons with mind's eye, and earth powers hitting the steels and rocks that resist normal. Bloodmoon already possesses nuclear firepower, and stall can still chip it down, so moonlight assists us. The EVS guarantee outspeeding blissey, and allow seismic toss to be a 5HKO. The speed allows us to taunt to prevent toxics and deny recovery.

Standard screens, tera flying to beat lando lol. The evs are to maximise damage, even as a support mon. Moves are the standard offensive support set.




Volcarona is still a great setup abuser, serving as a wincon for the team, after all, every screens team needs 2 wincons in my opinion. Tera ground hp ground can bruise through heatran, and a timid volcarona is still bulky enough under screens anyway. I opted for roost over bug buzz, as bug buzz hits like, a few dark and psychic types. Most darks beat it anyway. and the 2 psychics in ND OU are neutral to bug.



The specs set is less common than the life orb or BE sets, but this set packs amazing firepower, and breaks difficult mons with a trick. Thunderbolt, Moonblast and Aura sphere abuse valiant's excellent STAB combo and the power of terrain to deal damage, and offer great coverage. This serves as a speed mon that can break walls. This has both specs AND scarf under terrain so yeah...



A setup sweeper that only got better with DLC, scale shot SD bax allows for sweeps or at least broken holes if positioned well. The only thing the set lacks is recovery, but it still has good bulk for an offensive mon, and can tank a few hits. The SR weakness really lets it down tho.



We've all seen this before, and no Terrain team is finished without it. A secondary physical wincon, revenge killer and wallbreaker allows it to clean in the late game. The only issue is that it is not that much of a threat if koko is dead and terrain isn't up, being easily picked off, and having a very weak acrobatics.

If this team looks familiar then you most likely recognize it from Chino. I decided to make this post in honor of our ladder hero chino and his remarkable efforts in the builder. AV Tyranitar paired with wish pass Mola allows for you to pursuit trap targets more effectively and mend Tyranitars biggest drawback. It goes without being said how valuable wish passing and momentum is but what is most overlooked for this pair is Molas ability to check Tyranitars biggest threats. To name a few, Great Tusk, Landorus-Therian, Mega -Lopunny and Barreskewda or Swampert when facing against rain. Many players often try to use pivot moves on Tyranitar such as U-Turn and Flip Turn but Mola gives you a safe way to punish that every time. Volt Switch users like Raging Bolt and Tapu Koko will be stopped by Excadrill most of the time. Of course Mola is not a perfect answer to all of these, it can be hindered by toxic or taken advantage of by tera poison/steel from physical setup sweepers but thats where Skeledirge comes in. Tera Fairy allows you to remove many weaknesses and also absorb powerful Dragon Type attacks form SD Garchomp and the less common Kommo-O. Your natural typing takes on many physcial attackers and unaware helps take pressure off Mola when up against setup sweepers. Moving on to Excadrill, tasked with spinning away hazards and checking a variety of Pokemon defenisvely and offensively. Late game Excadrill can leech off Tyriantars sand to sweep when teams are weaken. It's possible to use jolly instead of adamant, the only differnce is you don't outspeed Iron Boulder.

Tornadus-Therian and Mega-Medicham are my favorite offenisve core in this tier. Very breifly, Medicham is Bullet Punch to help vs Mega-Diancie and Taunt Tornadus is an excellent stall breaker for fat teams. Fly-Z is essentially a nuke, you can break any team open if youre not very unlucky. No replays, maybe I can edit them in later if this post gets enough support. Like and Share

I made a trick room team. It helped me reach top 500 really easily whereas i always sticked around 1400 elo with sample teams or terrain or weather based teams. I think it does so well because nobody really is prepared for it since it's generally regarded as a bad strategy.
It's a pretty straightforward team but i think what sets it apart is the belly drum iron hands, which can be tried to set up multiple times a game thanks to the double healing wish support on the team. It is super strong and tanky so it can start a sweep in trickroom and keep on going after the trickroom ends, thanks to drain punch recovering HP and it being nearly unkillable.

The offensive combination of , Specs , and idbp . I usually always lead off with as it has the choice of bombing with Luster purge or draco meteor and having the option to flip turn out of battle on a predicted switch on a special wall to go to or who can do heavy damage to the opposition or threaten a sweep respectively.

THE GOON TRIO​

, , and are the supporting cast of this offensive trio. provides pivot support into any of the teammates and wish support for them as well. Heatran is the rocks setter for this team using its trapping capabilities and usage of toxic to break down cores for and while luring in unsuspecting for . Finally the gen 6 reigning monster of vgc, :landrorus-therian: who is the defog support for this team and has the item rocky helmet to be on the offensive while playing defensive. I went for this approach with because I felt with leftovers it didn’t do to much when playing defensive and enjoyed the extra chip on u-turning pokemon like and .

Things to watch out for: (), , .

These mons pose a threat to my balance team which is why I prepped with tera fairy to trap and damage and and ticking them down so they don’t pose a threat for long. match-up is helped by and toxic defending and limiting its threat level, you can also tera dragon on if you truly want to be safe.

Aura sphere can be used over mystical fire on if you want to up the heatran match-up

The team above you see above has been spread around the National Dex OU ladder alot and has been rebranded and remade by alot of notiable chinese players but im not here to talk about that im here to talk about the team i made with the help of the one and only eunchaehan. Alot of testing went into the creation of this team and we hope that we can show the ladder the original paste still goes as hard as the chinese edits.

OVERVIEW OF TEAM

1. ​

Pyukumuku one of the stars of the team this mon is used as intended too by the set as it is a PP Staller. Can 1v1 alot of pokemon such as Zamazenta, Moltres, and one that is very notiable such as garganacle yeah that's right. THIS FISH 1V1 GARG!

here is a replay referencing to what i said pyukumuku acts as an amazing pp staller when it comes into physical attackers without moves such as knock off or status moves such as toxic.

2. ​

Sableye is a basic unit on this providing magic bounce preventing hazard and prevents future-sight from coming in contact with mons on this team.
The relaxed nature for the sole purpose of g-king chilli receptions. and getting that crucial knock off or willo-wisp so its weak to impenting hazard brought in by clodsire.

3. ​

Eiscue is the second star of this team with its ability ice face which renders most physical attackers UNABLE to damage it without the usage of status moves. Eiscue swaps between the moves: Snowscape which gives it a defenseive boost and Hail which does residual damage overtime to your opponents pokemon. Pair this with the ability and whirpool to trap and you have a Mawile and Hoopa counter. In addition to this when iceface is broken Eiscue's speed goes from a base stat of 50 to 130 which makes it able to outspeed and KO Ogerpon-Wellspring without taking any damage.

4. ​

Chansey is pretty basic also on this team as it is a special attacking wall and our aromathearpy user which removes status from our mons such as situations when pyukumuku might have been hit with a toxic. It also helps in the moments of handling mons such as Charizard Y getting a cruical poison on it that might be game changing. As well as the relaxed nature on chansey to provide negative speed for alo flip turns.

5. ​

Clodsire is a crucial unit on this team as its our hazard setter as well as out check to mons such as Tapu Koko, Clefable Etc. Speed evs were tweaked onto it to outspeed opposing clodsires as well as Tera dark to defeat mons who use stored power such as Booster iron crown.

6. ​

Corviknight is also a very important player of this team as it is our defogger. In the instances where we lost sableye and have accumilated alot of hazard corviknight can come in very handy. It is also paired with the ability pressure which Stalls PP. I see your getting to understand the idea of this team PP Stall, Stack Hazard and Chip 3 things this team does best. It as runs iron defense to beat set up mons which can make it into a PP Stalling defensive wall.

THREATS:

This team in general is very taunt/encore weak. So keep that in mind when using it.


Pretty self explanitory that Tapu lele is a problem to this team especially taunt and calm mind lele.


Heatran is a problem to this team as you can see this team has well to no switch in's to taunt magma storm heatran. Going into clodsire would be the initial play but if u get predicted and tera'd upon on earthquake you basically lose your clodsire as poison jab is not even a 2 hit ko to tera grass heatran.​

Sun in general is a hard matchup against this team as it can easily breeze throught this team with a banded raging fury gouging fire in sun which iv seen frequently used on ladder, and recently in NDWC by Oculars.

i myself went 30-0 using this team ( dont mind the lost ) but this ss is kinda old and i dont think the meta has changed much since this ss as this was pre roaring moon ban.

Another notiable thing is that this team peaked 1947 on ladder ( i cant find the ladder ss it self im sorry but this is the best i can show ) but this team has been used and passed around alot and well was kinda banned in room tours and it made them extent and go onto for long periods of time. Im sorry if i caused any harm to the room whilst using this team and im sorry to all the ladder players that had to face this.

This team revolves around enabling specs iron valiant to break down teams, The most common counter to iron val is glowking which gets pursuit trapped and the less common skeliderge which likewise gets pursuit trapped or you force a tera. SD Gliscor serves as a great wincon with the spikes provided by ferrothorn as well as a solid specially defensive check to mons like Heatran and Raging Bolt. Ferrothorn serves as the primary specially defensive wall for the team and the water resist checking threatening mons like Tapu Lele, Darkrai, Iron Valiant as well as providing hazard support. Zapdos acts as this teams physical wall keeping mons like zamazenta and Mega Loppuny in check. Kartana provides speed control and late game cleaning capability as well as defog if needed.

Mega Latios is a very underrated mon in the current meta. It simultaneously offers great defensive and offensive utility to any team checking mons such as Urshifu, Gliscor, Ogerpon, Heatran etc. Luster purge + Psychic noise offers great breaking power with spdf drops and healblocking as well as being a nuisance to mons like Gliscor.

Another underrated mon Amoongus acts as a great defensive pivot as well as offering nice utility in spore. A lot of teams cant handle switching into it and essentially gives you a free mon. Amoongus is the main way of preventing physical threats from running over the team.

Heatran is a great specially defensive mon as well as rock setter. It has good synergy with Amoongus as it deals with annoying fire and psychic types while Amoongus covers water and fighting threats.
Not much has to be said here Zama is one of the best mons in the tier adds a nice dark resist for darkrai and helps check offensive threats while being a good late game wincon.

Scarf Lando is the glue of the team adding the needed electric immunity and more consistent ground immunity. It serves as a nice revenge killer and defogger for the team.

Darkrai is an excellent wallbreaker and nice speed control. It appreciates free switches provided by amoongus forcing a spore absorber like Gliscor as well as when you land the spore you get some extra damage through your ability.

So I'll be submitting two teams that I have been using a decent amount in Natdex.
Triple Steel Team

So this is an old team, created before September (when the SV DLC released, I wish that showdown showed when you created teams) and it still works even now. The main idea is to use the steel core of m-aggron, heatran and ferrothorn (and gliscor too, they are an honourary steel) to wall most of the meta while chipping them down, to allow Z Tapu koko and specs hydreigon to clean up.
The cornerstone of the team, mega aggron can basically wall anything it wants to on the physical side. Heavy metal as the base ability does mean that aggron's heavy slam is more powerful than m-aggron's against heavier targets (it does 37% minimum to garg, while m-aggron does 22%, a big difference). Heavy slam of course is stab and allows m-aggron to deal great damage. Toxic allows it to pressure some opponents that might take its hits, taunt make it able to shut down any bulkier mons or status effects, and bp deals great damage and helps with steel types.
The top dog, gliscor helps wall any ground types that may threaten the team while being a great offensive mon. Tera steel of course lets it pretend to be part of the squad, letting it wall ice types. Roost gives gliscor longevity and immediate healing while earthquake deals great damage to a lot of teams. Counter is an interesting option, allowing gliscor to potentially live a hit and ko a pokemon outright if they hit on the physical side. Finally, knock off can remove the opponents items and make spikes be more troublesome.
A defensive wall, ferrothorn gives support for the team with leech seed and can wall many mons. Tera water of course is a good defensive tera for ferrothorn, allowing it to take fire type moves really well. Leech seed gives ferro more recovery and can force switches or give teammates recovery. Body press of course take ferro's great defense stat and turns it into a weapon. Seed bomb was chosen over power whip due to its consistency, while gyro ball will be doing a lot of damage due to ferro's low speed stat.
This heatran set is a little interesting and uses assault vest, an item I think works amazingly on heatran. A mega diancie earth power does 88% max and a lando-t earth power with max special attacks evs can never OHKO you, doing 99.4% max and 84% minimum. Of course, you wouldn't be switching it into this hits, but this is to show how bulky on the special side heatran is. Magma storm of course is for stab and earth power is basically neccessitated on heatran. Flash cannon is also a good stab move and hidden power grass allows heatran to deal with opposing water or ground types. Tera bug is an amazing defensive type, allowing heatran to resist fighting and ground, while only being weak to flying and rock.
The fast cleaner of the team, tapu koko can apply tons of pressure onto the opposing team. Tera flying allows it to avoid any ground type moves that may be aimed at it. U-turn gives the team some pivoting options and doesn't get stuffed by ground types. Thunderbolt and dazzling gleam are good stab options. Toxic gives koko a sort of safe click button, allowing it to directly deal with ground types. Electrium Z allows Tapu Koko to break through some bulkier targets that it might otherwise struggle with.
The wallbreaker of the team, specs hydreigon is able to output absurd amounts of damage. Tera steel is a great defensive typing against fairies and boosts the power of flash cannon. Draco meteor is a great stab move that can annihilate anything that isn't resisting it or immune to it, for reference assault vest toxapex takes 50% from it minimum. Dark pulse is also a good stab move, while flash cannon annihilates any fairy types that might try to switch into its stab moves. Finally, earth power destroys most steel types, allowing it to again use its stab moves.

Mega Slowbro and Breaking Swipe Gliscor Stall

This is quite a unique stall team here for NatDex. It uses two unique mons. Mega Slowbro and Breaking Swipe Gliscor, to try and hard wall a lot of physical attackers, meaning the rest of the team can wall the special side.
The special tank of the team, blissey of course can wall anything it wants to. Tera dark allows it to deal with stored power users or psyshock users, which is always valuable. Soft boiled is of course for recovery, while calm mind allows it to boost up alongside special threats. Seismic toss deals good damage and shadow ball deals with ghost types immune to shadow ball.
The first innovation of the team, mega slowbro can fill a variety of roles on the team. At first, it can use regen in order to pivot in and out of hits, and then mega evolve to get the extra bulk and wall more things in the late game. Scald of course is a good stab move and when mega'd, it can deal good damage while spreading burns. Slack off allows slowbro to have some recovery when it mega's, meaning it can't be chipped as easily. Iron defense makes slowbro able to wall basically anything on the physical side and if only physical threats are remaining, that can be a game over. Ice beam allows slowbro to deal with dragons or grasses that resist scald.
Ferrothorn is the spikes setter of the team that can rack chip damage quite quickly on the opponent. Spikes of course applies pressure to the opposing side of the field, leech seed deals chip damage and heals ferro and toxic deals even more chip to the opponent. Gyro Ball is the damaging move on the set, dealing suprising damage for a mon that is more about passive damage and deals with the most common magic bounce user, M-Diancie. However, if you are worried about hatterne, then slot in heavy slam, since gyro ball doesn't do a lot of damage otherwise.
The second innovation of the team, breaking swipe gliscor can wall a lot of things in the tier. At -1 attack, not to many hits are going to be breaking through. For reference, a -1 icicle crash from a 252+ mamoswine only has a 6.3% chance to OHKO. The 130 attack stat, 85 bp stab move that is 4x effective doesn't have a good chance to OHKO. A waterpon ivy cudgel doesn't even 2hit ko. This means any neutral hit will bounce right off. Gliscor can get these impressive numbers while attacking, meaning it isn't passive. Protect allows it to be annoying while accumulating health, poison jab deals with fairy types that are immune to breaking swipe and knock off removes items to allow damage to be more permanent. Tera steel is just a good defensive typing.
Another defensive behemoth, toxapex can trap opponents and remove them from the game. Tera grass means it can resist ground type moves, which is a good trait to have. Scald helps spread burns and makes sure that toxapex isn't passive. Knock off can remove lefties from the opposing team, making its damage a lot more permanent. Baneful bunker can help spread poison damage onto any opponent that makes contact and allow for a bit of extra chip. Infestation traps opponents and means that they can be chipped down be pex's other moves as well.
The defogger of the team, zapdos I will admit is probably the most replacable of the team (moltres is a good alternative). However, it can spread status on opposing mons that make contact and can give some pivoting to the team. Tera water is a good defensive typing for it, resisting ice moves that may be aimed at it. Defog of course removes hazards, which mega slowbro loves. Roost gives it reliable recovery. U-turn helps it pivot out of bad matchups such as against ground types and discharge does good damage and can spread paralysis.

Aight, here’s another teamdump with more recent and probably better teams (idk why but each time I look at my previous team dumps I’m like why did I even build these lmao). Dates range from around moon suspect to present day. These are sample submissions!


This was made during moon era so the structure is probably a little outdated but it still works decently as a fat that isn’t too too passive either. Weav Zama was the idea but somehow it turned into fat with a twave Mtias. Weav is cool for punishing stuff like gking zap torn etc while also breaking stuff very well and not making this too passive. Ting was a part of the remnants of the moon era but it’s still a decent mon, stacking hazards while also being a good check to stuff like Darkrai and bolt and phasing out stuff like Volc (Tera steel Volc can probably beat pex) and even dnite in a pinch. Zapdos was mainly for moon but it can probably be replaced with corv but it still works well here as a more consistent way of dealing with nplot torn. Papaya pex was a funny tech for lele because I couldn’t slot corv at the time but here is a version with boots pex and corv if it looks better. Twave Mtias is just overall consistent as a para spreader and is a good Waterpon check barring play rough.

Here’s a cool balance featuring Ogerpon-c, a mon I feel is super underrated rn. I noticed it was good into zap / dnite builds so I took that idea and made this. Stuff like pex / ting doesn’t like dnite blowing past them with drag z so how about threaten dnite before it can do that? Stuff like msciz zama and torn also like zap being taken care of as well. Torn is one of the more consistent foggers on balance builds (although it has fallen off just slightly) and keeps hazards off for msciz ring and especially Rockpon. Ting is the resident bolt check, rocker, and ground. Pex is just a consistent mon overall but it is also a Fire and Water resist which are important traits to have for any team at least from what I have seen. You can also make it physdef too to have a better mu into pon with Tera dragon. Msciz helps into lele while clicking knock to force progress. Zama is just good speed control and one of the wincons used here. As mentioned earlier pon is a difficult matchup but you could try physdef pex with Tera dragon if you can just play amazingly with ur faster mons + the already existing dragon pex. Even then I couldn’t think of where to slot a pon check anyways because like half of them suck at actually doing so / don’t fit.

Ngl this is a solid structure. You have one of the best breakers in the tier in woger while having another good breaker in tornt to support it in breaking endeavors. Mega Latios was originally a latias but I felt it to be a momentum sink in terms of power here so latios was a good alternative. It’s good into mmedi and pon at once while also being a good breaker in its own right. Pex is a physical wall able to be a more consistent Zama check while also insuring you don’t lose to Volc. Heatran is a lele check and another fire resist (can’t get enough of those!) while also having toxic so you wear down bolt. Which is quite good for torn and waterpon. Lando is good speed control and a good pivot that brings in the breakers. Also good pivot into mmaw which is nice. Explosion helps keep up your momentum against Glisc while also being a good way of nuking a weakened rai or pon and I never found that I clicked stone edge much.

Eh made this a while back so it’s not THAT quality but it should be fine or passable. Mdia is a funny breaker and sets up rocks well. Ferro while unconventional on most balances nowadays (at least from what I’ve seen) is a fine lele check while also stacking hazards and clicking knock and leeching and just being annoying doing what it always has. Also a good pon check along with a fighting resist in pex. Speaking of pex is a good fire resist that also helps into Volc and Zama. Zama and glisc are the main wincons, one being able to act as speed control into more offensive teams that don’t like Idbp and 2nd being able to disconfigure more bulky teams, also sd Glisc is insane as a wincon LOL.

I hadn’t used lele in a while, not to mention scarf lele. It’s good into offense so I thought it would be a cool idea to pair with spower pon, something that generally does well into heatran and kos ferro with superpower which is nice along with mtar because scarf lele can struggle against gking and crown. Chomp is there for a good wincon that blows away ting Lu with drag z + stacks hazards with mtar. Also a good way to rack up lots of damage onto msciz ferro and even corv (drag z boosted still does a whole lot to it) so lele has an easier time clicking. Pex helps mainly against zama and Volc but is also a good general water and fighting resist. You play around pon by using Tera dragon on pex and corv and hope it doesn’t have prough and wear it down with hazards so lele can rkill.

One of my favorite balances to use when I don’t know what to load. It went through a lot of variations but this is what I settled on. Gliscor, pex, heatran, and zama are self explanatory and have already had their roles mentioned in the past teams. Prough pon is cool for the Latis and bolt, opening up more opportunities for Zama and Mtios to get in and do stuff. Taunt Tran traps gking mainly but also traps pex a bit more efficiently so then mtios and zama are freed up mid / late game. Mtios is a good breaker here and acts as the pon and mmedi check while also helping break through Garg and pex.

Before I made this team this was the time I discovered fast taunt Lando seeing it in some wc games and I thought it looked cool so I tried it and it’s been what I’ve mainly used on Lando ever since. Epower is also what I’ve mainly been using as well, as it helps you actually check Zama while also providing good insurance into kart. This is nice because you free up a moveslot on gking, allowing you to run future sight which pairs amazingly with zama and the pressure taunt Lando gives. Physdef gking is used to check pon better. Mtar makes so many more builds so much more consistent. It pursuits gking which is nice for Zama and knocks stuff which makes rocks sting more. Tera steel Volc is just a really wincon sometimes and can win games if positioned correctly. Waterpon is broken breaker while also being a good water resist into stuff like shifu and the up and coming rain.

Another Ogerpon-c team that takes more advantage of its offensive capabilities as a breaker that is the same to waterpon is strength, using spikes and knock from hsam and rocks from Lando to force immense progress. Zama is immediate power and speed control and also benefits from hsam doing things like koing gking and knocking against pex and wearing it down with spikes. Taunt Lando appears again and helps keep off hazards for pon so it can keep sturdy active. Bolt is the main pon check while also wearing down stuff like Lando and msciz for pon. Gking is the fairy resist which is always useful and helps pivot in and provide twave support for pon.

For my final team, I’ll end it off with one that took FOREVER to get right and actually do well. Got the idea for sd Glisc + mlop + pex by my nd trios teammates, and I thought it was a good idea to bring to my game as well. The encore lop, Garg, and dirge however were ideas I got from Lameflame when I asked him for help on it because I was struggling trying to make a build I liked. Encore lop is actually a cool and funny tech that helps dismantle balances well and helps the team not be deadweight into offense. It also provides a decent amount of pressure with encore as it is also a good offensive tool, taking advantage of stuff like pex and non helmet corv. This isn’t a super passive fat either unlike most, as it has defined wincons and good ways of forcing progress, such as encore mlop, dirge, and sd Glisc along with Garg pressuring stuff with scure like pex and corv so mlop can come in and encore them and be annoying. Pex is the main water resist and corv is a good lele check and fogger too. Dirge helps insure you into Zama and ival stuff obviously but is also annoying to msciz corv kart mtias etc. Garg is the main rocker, and Tera psychic helps into mmedi and lele.

And that’s it! I hope you like the teams despite some of them being a bit outdated.

This is a dual screens HO all sweepers benefit greats from screens as they all carry good natural bulk (except for val) and with screens can setup on most mons. Urshifu + Sciz + Dragonite all break well for each other opening up the game for late game ironval sweeps.

Heard Zamazenta was broken or something so I wanted to make some fat shit so I could just cancer with Zama after wearing down the oppos (or just cancer on preview because people are still making Zama weak teams in 2024 for some real). I don't really fuck with Gen 9 fat so it's a more Gen 8-esque build, which means that it kinda gets rolled over by the more modern breakers so I chose to run Ditto to stand a better chance and its worked out pretty well since people have an HO addiction. I think Mega Latias on last was just so I could have some fat annoying mon that was fast enough to harrass Kartana cuz I didn't want to run Zapdos.


This kinda sucks because I forgot to add a Knock Off user to it on the original build, but this fixed version has two now ^_^ so it has to be good. Anyways the idea was MMawile + steel harrassers + hazard stack since that's probably broken if I remember to put Knock Off on my teams.


Corviknight da goat no cap. Just spam U-turn on Corv into an actually good mon and win. Ok slightly more descriptive you just keep hazards up for as long as possible to enable Kyurem.


Specs Darkrai is so broken so I just wanted to add a mon that mauls its only real check in Chansey/Blissey with Mega Medicham. Ferro is just to provide a midground to Scarf Tapu Lele since it seemed pretty annoying. Toxapex you're really just there to sit on Shifu and Weavile but you're swag. Zapdos is meant to be the Zama check more or less but you also annoy Gliscor and Lando asw.


I really like loading this team and its probably might best one out of the bunch since you basically just pivot spam and break shit with Urshifu and Vile. Future Sight support is nice so Shifu can break Toxapex and Mola easier, and then once again you have the obligatory LandoFerro to help enable the breakers. Tornadus's job is just to be annoying and click the funny zmove once in a while.

Don't see any sun team rn, so just wanted to drop this here so people have a baseline of what to do with Sun.

Torkoal Sun

The team is pretty straight forward. Torkoal and Yard set up Sun for the Paradox forms to use. Torkoal and Great Tusk provide hazard support and control with SR on Torkoal, and spin on both. Raging Bolt provides an additional SpA breaker to pair well with Yard's already excellent breaking power, as well as providing a check to Waterpon & priority in Thunderclap. Gouging Fire provides speed control while also being the primary Physical breaker with it's proto boosted Fire moves, which become even stronger when Tera'd. Hatterene serves as a support pokemon, capable of mitigating hazards, using Healing Wish, Nuzzling, and being a pivot with Eject Pack. Nothing here is too new, but the team serves as a solid baseline of how suns should somewhat look. Most mons could be tweaked, or possibly swapped out, and still achieve the same results.

Threats:

Tapu Lele hits hard, with only 1 psychic resist, and 2 Fairy Resists. Tera Steel Great Tusk with Ice Spinner + Eject Pack Hat are going to be primary options for helping to deal with it.

Broken Dog is fairly annoying, so try to not give it opportunities to setup with Iron Defense. Tera Fairy Raging Bolt checks it pretty well, so try to keep the Tera ready if you're facing it.

Non-Torkoal Sun

This team is a good look at Non-Torkoal Sun. Yard, Bolt, and Scarf Heatran provide a majority of the offensive pressure, with Great Tusk also doing well with the Proto Boost. Alomomola and Glowking provide a regenerator defensive back bone, helping to pivot in hard hitters. Mola in particular is useful because of it's ability to provide longevity to Bolt, Tusk, and Heatran. Heatran especially appreciates Mola being able to bring it's HP back up for more Eruptions. Scarf on Heatran gives the team speed control, and allows it to clean up end game, usually with (possible Tera Fire) Eruption/Flamethrower. Great Tusk provides the hazard support and control for the team.

Threats:

Waterpon is annoying, so try to keep Bolt healthy. Mola can be Tera'd to help if needed.

Volcarona can be dealt with with by statusing with either Toxic or Twave, though Mola will also need to Tera to avoid Giga Drain. Twave is more luck dependent, so Toxic is more ideal.
Other Weather
Try to keep hazards off in order to let Yard come in as much as it needs.

If Zama gets banned then sets can be tweaked. Bolt can more comfortably run Dragonium Z-Draco and Gloking can change Flamethrower to Fsight/Psychic Noise/ Slack Off/whatever.
