Volcanion got a new toy this Generation. With the additon of Heavy Duty Boots, which allows Volcanion to not be worn down by chip from any hazards. Its speed tier is alright, for outspeeding all defensive Pokemon, and some offensive like Magnezone, Aegislash and Magearna. Its good movepool can shine a lot more as it can be alive for a lot longer.

With letfovers your able to recover health behind i Subsitute, making it easier to click subsitute more and more, though dropping Heavy Duty Boots makes you vulnerable to hazards.

Nothing really wasnt to switch into this in rain that isnt mantine, which you have Toxic for to cripple it down. Its one downside its Stealth Rocks, Volcanion dosent have any Recovery nor any hazard immunity, which could cause problems in the late game. Though it hits incredibly hard with Steam Eruption in rain, being able to 2HKO Blissey and 2HKO Physical Toxapex with Stealth Rocks.
