Mimikyu is an offensive check to Heracross, with it's ability disguise it can take any hit from Heracross and then destroy it with Play Rough. Even if Mimikyu's Life Orb is removed and it's disguise is broken Mimikyu is able to win the duel since it outspeed Heracross. It's also good to note that Mimikyu is immune to Heracross most dangerous moves in Facade and Close Combat.

Despite the amazing breaker Heracross is and how generally GOATed it is, there is one thing stopping it from mindlessly tearing through everything with Webs support: Crobat. With a 4x SE STAB, a neat quad resistance to Fighting and Bug, and reliable recovery to boot, Crobat can effectively check Heracross by taking one of whatever from full and forcing it out. It dislikes Knock Off, but with support from GWeezing or another KOff absorber, this is negligible.

Although not being able to switch in, darmanitan can come in through pivoting teammates, or after a pokemon has sadly fainted. It is 22 points faster with this set, and will ohko with a flare blitz.

Pivot Noivern is a check to heracross. It can switch in comfortably on all moves besides facade which this spread always survives. Noivern can ohko heracross with air slash or predict the switch and keep momentum with u turn making it a good revenge killer.

Talonflame is a check to heracross being able to swap in and live any attack while threataning it with an ohko. If talonflame takes facade Brave bird recoil will likely kill you near guranteed even if heracross has take burn chip. if you pivot talonflame on another attack your good. If heracross has been sufficently chipped via just rocks and burn BB will do less recoil allowing it to potentially live but usually not as you need sufficient chip. Talonflame being knocked off by heracross isnt terrible as the majority Stealth rock users are deathly afraid of will-o-wisp. you pivot talonflame on another attack your good. Running Dual wingbeat could remedy this IF nesesary otherwise just stick with Brave bird.

Indeedee is a very nice offensive check to Heracross, because of it's powerful STAB in Expanding Force getting even more powerful under Psychic Terrain. But, it's neutral or weak to all of Heracross's moves, and is extremely frail physically, so you have to switch-in safely if you want to hit it with Expanding Force (Or you can switch-in under screens, and hope it doesn't use Megahorn).

Meta always ohkos tales with bullet punch and even at +2 dark pulse is maxing out at 83% damage, meaning meta can switch in on a +2 dark pulse, and ohko revenge kill. If it nasty plots on the switch to meta, meta is able to get rocks up as it forces tales out.
