Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
So I'm (hopefully) going to be taking a small break before I (hopefully) get drafted for AGPL. I had time to hit 1760's using Togedemaru V2 and probably could've/can hit 1800's (time permitting). It's a pretty fun team so give it a try. Names are from Heartbreaker remix by Mariah Carey featuring Da Brat and Missy Elliot.

The basis behind the Arc-Grass + Alolan-Muk core is to have Muk trap MGar for Arc-Grass to do it's thing. Arc-Grass fulfills a defensive role on the team, covering Ogre, Arc-Water, SD Arc, opposing Zygarde, and other general stuff for defensive Ho-Oh and stallbreak Zygarde. MGar is just a general good teammate for Zygarde and can end the game versus a few set-up sweepers. Toge is another good teammate for MGar, being able to spread status, pivot out, and be a general nuisance.
Muk then helps with MGar for Arc-Grass. I also realized Muk beats DeoA, Geo Xern, and Mewtwo for the team in general. That's a big thing about Muk that people forget. Mewtwo is a huge threat to nearly every playstyle and the fact that this thing nearly 100% counters it is incredible. DeoA and Geo Xern are both big threats to balance and Muk pulled through. I was unable to get a single poison with Muk though (because I can't get one bit of hax to save my life) so that sucks. Looking back, I might switch out Toge with like a Chansey or something.
Overall though, I thought this round gave me new-found appreciation for Muk and it is certainly going to be a Pokémon I consider building with in the future.
Edit: Oh shit lol I didn't realize platinum was 1750+. Guess I should show proof then https://ibb.co/7bfwTtQ
