Zeraora @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Plasma Fists
- Knock Off
- Play Rough
- Volt Switch

Thanks to its incredible Speed tier, Zeraora is the fastest unboosted Pokemon in UU, which, in combination with Heavy-Duty Boots, has made it an incredible offensive pivot and revenge killer to Pokemon like Volcanion, Latias, and Calm Mind Keldeo, as well as a great check to Celesteela. The recent rise of Hippowdon to OU has made Zeraora even more effective in this role, as Zeraora struggled versus it even when running Grass Knot on physical sets. Knock Off allows Zeraora to punish switch-ins like Nidoqueen and Rotom-H, while Play Rough lets it break through Kommo-o and check a weakened Terrakion. Wallbreakers like Victini and Mamoswine appreciate Zeraora bringing them in on Grass-types like Amoonguss, Tangrowth, and Tapu Bulu. Choice Band Azumarill is also a great wallbreaker that can break through Zeraora's checks like Nidoqueen and Rhyperior. Zeraora appreciates partners that can check Ground-types, such as Skarmory for Mamoswine and Krookodile and Mew for Nidoqueen; both can also provide Spikes support to help further wear down Zeraora's switch-ins. Offensive Kommo-o is also a great partner that can provide Stealth Rock and break through Pokemon Zeraora struggles with like Rotom-H, Tapu Bulu, and Nidoqueen.

Thanks to its incredible speed tier, Zeraora is the fastest unboosted Pokemon in UU, which, in combination with its newfound access to Heavy-Duty Boots dunno if i'd say "newfound access to" since it's not like HDB is something that existed before that zeraora lacked, would just say "the addition of heavy duty boots" or remove it entirely for "in combination with heavy-duty boots", has made it an incredible offensive pivot and revenge killer to Pokemon like Keldeo, Primarina, and Latias i'm sure there are better examples here, esp since it's not the most reliable lati rker and none of these mons are too common. perhaps steamer > keld given most kelds are scarf rn anyway, other two are probably fine enough since i can't think of anything better. The recent rise of Hippowdon to OU (atm it reads like hippo was an uncommon mon that just came into relevance which makes 0 sense w/ next bit) has made Zeraora even more effective in this role, as Zeraora struggled versus it even when running Grass Knot on physical sets. Knock Off allows Zeraora to punish switch-ins like Nidoqueen and Rotom-H, while Play Rough lets Zeraora check Latias and knock does more to non-colbur lati and doesn't miss, if you really wanna put something here mention that it lets it RK terrak a bit better break through Kommo-o. Wallbreaking teammates like Victini and Mamoswine and azumarill, doesn't tie in particularly well with the grass type mention but i'd like you to include azu as a partner that slams through common zeraora checks like queen and rhyp - you can include an ice punch mention too if you can fit it appreciate Zeraora bringing them in on Grass-types like Amoonguss, Tangrowth, and Tapu Bulu, Victini in particular can help weaken checks like Rotom-H and Rhyperior for Zeraora and form a powerful VoltTurn core with it. Zeraora appreciates partners that can check Ground-types like Mamoswine, Krookodile, and Nidoqueen, such as Skarmory and Mew mew is barely a check to any of these and nidoqueen ohkos skarmory, who can also provide Spikes support to help further wear down Zeraora's switch-ins. Kommo-o is also a great partner that can provide Stealth Rock, while checking switch-ins to Zeraora like Rotom-H, Tapu Bulu, and Chansey chansey is like... not a zera switch in though. if you knock the eviolite then plasma fists just 2hkos it after rocks and you have to factor in the possibility of cc anyway. clanger is also not particularly good as a bulu answer considering it can just drop you with +2 ZHB and flame bounces + toxic isn't the worst thing in the world. if anything you should be mentioning that it can put pressure on things zeraora can't break through like bulky scizor, rhyperior etc .

(999 characters)

hmu on disc w/ any questions (or once you finish), lots of kinda strange examples and stuff here that i'd like to go over once you're done

Thanks to its incredible Speed tier, Zeraora is the fastest unboosted Pokémon in UU, which,.(AP) This, in combination with Heavy-Duty Boots, has made it an incredible offensive pivot capable of revenge killer to killing Pokémon like Volcanion, Latias, and Calm Mind Keldeo, and a great check to Celesteela. Offensive Kommo-o is a great partner that can provide Stealth Rock and break through Pokémon Zeraora struggles with like Rotom-H, Tapu Bulu, and Nidoqueen.
