Zekrom electrifies the opposition! As a wallbreaker, Zekrom shines brighter than anybody. Substitute can scout potential Terastallization and blocks Landorus-T's Intimidate or status moves from foes like Arceus-Water and -Fairy. Scale Shot makes it harder to revenge kill with foes like Koraidon and some Arceus formes. With Tera Flying, it gets free setup against Landorus-T, Gliscor, and non-Power Gem Glimmora. A Jolly nature lets Zekrom outspeed Zacian-C and Deoxys-A after a Dragon Dance. Since Tera Flying still retains the Ice weakness, Zekrom appreciates Ice-resistant companions like Zacian-C and Kyogre that can serve as wincons. Koraidon and Eternatus enjoy Zekrom trading with their checks and counters like Arceus-Fairy and opposing Koraidon. In return, they can help overwhelm defensive Ground-types like Arceus-Ground and Groudon, which can beat Zekrom.

I think these two can merge together as an opener because Zekrom shines as a stall and wallbreaker more than anything. It would also help with character limit.

In general in analyses and spotlights, we try to limit the information that everyone who has played the game knows and try to be a little bit more specific, so sentences like "Substitute helps scout opponent's Terra and blocks status" doesn't mean much. I would instead use examples, like "Substitute blocks Landorus-T's Intimidate and blocks status moves from opponents like Arceus-Water and -Fairy."

Scale shot makes it much more difficult to be revenge killed by some high-speed pokemons like Koraidon and Flutter Mane

Flutter Mane will almost always be faster because sun is almost always on the field if Flutter Mane is loaded; maybe mention something else that is usually faster, like Zacian-C? Or more importantly, Arceus formes! They're usually faster.

Jolly is applied to outspeed other 90-spe competitors like Groudon,two forms of Giratina,Dialga,and Kyogre.

Some of these examples are bad (Giratina-A, Dialga) and Groudon and Gira-O don't usually run max Speed. Jolly is preferred so you can consistently outspeed Zacian-C and Deoxys-A when you're at +1 Speed which is what is important. Merge the new sentence with the previous point I mentioned.

Tera type explanation should be after moves.


I know it's a lot of info but it's mostly things that have to do with process, so tag me again when you implement and I'll do a quick check again :)

one important thing to note is that you must put a space after periods, commas, and other punctuation

zekrom needs +2 for opposing scarf korai and it does like 50% at +1 to arc-fairy, is this correct?

2. Arceus-Fairy seldom runs full-speed or it will be easily overwhelmed. And it can force non-scarf korai to teralize and scarf korai cannot OHKO Zek if its Tera Flying is active.
3. I added Groudon to the last sentence.

got it! :blobthumbsup: 2 more things; wallbreaker means a mon that can dish out huge damage, while stallbreaker means a pokemon that can beat stall strategies, like using taunt and other moves to beat stall (if it still fits zekrom's role then feel free to keep it as it is)
