[SET COMMENTS]

At first glance Zamazenta-Crowned seems to clearly be overshadowed by Zacian-Crowned in terms of viability and sweeping potential. Due to its limited move pool, lack of recovery other than Rest and lack of attack-raising moves, Zamazenta-Crowned has very few viable movesets that it can work with. However, it definitely has some things going for it that Zacian doesn't have. For example, its 145/145 defenses are quite impressive and it also has some moves that Zacian doesn't have or can fully take advantage of. For example, Zamazenta-Crowned is strong enough to survive nearly any attack, assuming that the opponent is unboosted so Metal Burst will serve as an effective way to deal out damage to any opponent that Zamazenta-Crowned can't OHKO such as a Life Orb Eternatus that is equipped with Flamethrower. Metal burst also serves as a check to Zacian, assuming it is unboosted. Power Swap allows for Zamazenta to take the offensive boosts that the foe has and take it for itself, boosting it's overall survivability and sweeping potential. This would work well as a check for any foe that tends to rely on boosting such as Swords Dance Zacian, Sirfetch'd or Perrserker. Behemoth Bash hits any Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokemon that doesn't resist steel moves, quite hard given the investment in it's attack stat and also can be used as a powerful STAB move without the defensive drops after a Close Combat. It will at the very least 2 hit KO most Pokemon that don't resist the steel type. Lastly, Close Combat is an extremely powerful move that takes full advantage of Zamazenta's high Attack stat and STAB. It will OHKO pretty much any Pokemon in the Uber Metagame that is weak against the fighting type such as Ferrothorn and most bulky mons who were weakened from previous damage. This makes switching into Zamazenta potentially quite unsafe. Speaking of switching in, Substitute can be run over Power Swap if you are more concerned about an opponent switching out into another Pokemon that might serve as a check or counter to Zamazenta, assuming that you properly predict the switch.

In order to use this set efficiently prediction and reading your opponent's next move is key. With this moveset, Zamazenta has the ability to break down most wall or the ability to take the stat gains of offensive mons that could potentially sweep the rest of your team if kept unchecked. Unlike Zacian, Zamazenta can serve simultaneously as a wall and a wallbreaker, which gives it a unique niche in a team slot. Using Metal Burst and Power Swap properly relies on proper prediction based on how your opponent tends to play and based on the specific mon you are versing. Use Zamazenta wisely and it could potentially win you the match. Incorrectly predicting your opponent's next move is one of the biggest potential problems for Zamazenta. Also mons who resist or are immune to both Steel and Fighting serve as major potential problems for Zamazenta, often leaving it reliant of Metal Burst to do decent damage.

Hi, strategies are being worked on in the proper subforum for every tier, so that's the place to go if you want to work on something. Make sure to read the stickies + adhere to the proper formats though (and I don't think anything is up for reservation at this time?), I'll be closing this.
