Zacian-C is a potent wallbreaker thanks to boasting the highest Attack in the metagame along with near-unmatched Speed. Sunsteel Strike is its strongest, most spammable STAB move, as it has high Base Power and ignores abilities like Fur Coat. Behemoth Blade is a niche option that shuts down offensive threats that Dynamax to gain bulk and revenge kill Zacian-C, like Kyurem-B, but misses out on Sunsteel Strike's utility of ignoring abilities. V-create deals massive damage to Steel-types looking to wall Zacian-C's STAB moves, notably 2HKOing Fur Coat Melmetal after some chip damage. Earthquake is a reliable method of hitting Flash Fire Steel-types, as well as Poison-types like Toxapex and Eternatus. Zacian-C forces switches regularly, so U-turn is a move that lets Zacian-C act as a pivot and allows it to gain momentum on the foe's switch-in. This also helps avoid Dynamax mind games, as the opponent's Dynamax is revealed while Zacian-C pivots to an appropriate teammate. Volt Switch is an alternative pivoting move that helps Zacian-C avoid chip damage from Rocky Helmet but does not hit anything very hard coming from a low base Special Attack. Strength Sap is an option that can increase Zacian-C's longevity in battle while also making it more difficult to revenge kill, and it allows Zacian-C to come in on moves like Anchor Shot and Knock Off and take advantage of its great bulk. Stealth Rock can be used as another method of gaining momentum by forcing switches, since in most cases, Zacian-C checks do not run Magic Bounce. Play Rough is a solid secondary STAB move that lets Zacian-C land OHKOes on Zekrom, Zamazenta, and Dragapult and is also the best option for V-create sets to hit Reshiram, which would otherwise check Zacian-C. Bolt Beak hits switch-ins like Golisopod, Corviknight, and Toxapex extremely hard, and also deals nice neutral damage to foes that don't resist Electric. Photon Geyser is another option to hit Toxapex and Eternatus, as well as 2HKOing Fur Coat Seismitoad with minor chip damage. A Jolly nature is needed to allow Zacian-C to outspeed other offensive threats like Zeraora, Dragapult, and Galarian Darmanitan-Z .
Zacian-C is checked by physical walls, so strong special attackers like Choice Specs Lunala, Sheer Force Life Orb Eternatus, and Poison Heal Reshiram can punish common switch-ins like Melmetal and Seismitoad. Due to Intrepid Sword's mechanics, Pokemon transformed into Zacian-C are extremely threatening to your own team, since they come into the field with +2 Attack. Knowing this, choosing a teammate bulky enough to Imposter-proof Pokemon transformed into Zacian-C is very important. Flash Fire and Fur Coat Steel-types, like Melmetal, Zamazenta-C, Steelix, and Ferrothorn, are usually the best bet at handling Pokemon transformed into Zacian-C, but bulky Water-types like Seismitoad, Toxapex, and Golisopod can work as well, depending on chosen coverage moves. These same Pokemon all threaten Pokemon transformed into Zacian-C in various ways, like with burns from either Scald or Will-O-Wisp, super effective STAB moves, and Anchor Shot trapping.
