Let's talk about Shiny Pokemon. Which ones would (or did) you go to the depths of hell and back to get, and which ones would you sell your soul to never waste the random encounter chance on?
My single favorite; I hope I'm not the only one who thinks the orange flames make it look even more haunting and dangerous than the original purple.
A black fox whose accents turn blue or purple is something I simply cannot refuse.
They have alien motifs, and their new colors make them look more unearthly - and therefore more awesome - than they already were.
What I like about these isn't just that they look cool, but also the context around them. Toxicroak's color scheme also makes it seem more unearthly, which is pretty fitting since it's a Pokemon Team Galactic uses. Shiny Vikavolt seems almost like a robot, which is also fitting considering the Ping Totem Sophocles used in USUM.
Why yes, I do think taking an awesome Pokemon and turning it black makes it even more awesome, thank you very much.
How to do a green mantis the correct way.
Not much I can say about these besides "this looks really cool". But... they kinda do.
Poor Lumineon just can't catch a break; poor stats, a shallow movepool, and a Shiny that makes it look like it had been living in the sewers for 10 years. I'll take the original blue over this any day.
Turd brown and yellow instead of the awesome red and black from before. Hard pass.
I'm not against green shinies per se, but these are IMO the three Pokemon that green works the worst with. I tried to like Scizor, but the nuclear green just makes it look gaudy and sucks out any awesomeness it possessed in its non-shiny form.
Probably the biggest example of a Pokemon that shouldn't turn black. The Tapus in general are hit-or-miss when they turn black, but Lele's pink clashes horribly with the rest of it, making it the biggest miss of the bunch.
I already hate Dugtrio to begin with, and turning its noses blue doesn't make me like it any more than I previously did.
There's a few of mine. Feel free to share yours.
