Lucario's niche lies in its great mixed wallbreaking capacity and amazing STAB combination, with Close Combat and Steel Beam hitting the majority of the metagame for good damage and potentially 2HKOing them. Earthquake deals with Toxapex, Dark Pulse smacks Gholdengo, and Stone Edge prevents Zapdos and Iron Moth from switching in safely. Nasty Plot lets it muscle through bulky teams that try to dance around its coverage moves. An alternative EV spread of 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe can be used to deal more damage on the physical side. Lucario's excellent wallbreaking abilities make fast offensive partners like Roaring Moon, Deoxys-S, and Chien-Pao good partners, as they can clean up after it has broken holes into the opposing team. Lucario's lack of defensive utility makes walls like Corviknight, RegenVest Manaphy, and Swampert much appreciated; additionally, they can bring it back onto the field with a slow pivot. Lucario greatly struggles with four-moveslot syndrome, so teammates that can deal with Zapdos and Iron Moth like RegenVest or Magic Guard Roaring Moon when not using Stone Edge and teammates that can switch into Gholdengo like Swampert when not running Dark Pulse are appreciated.

Lucario's niche lies in its great mixed wallbreaking capacity and amazing STAB combination. Focus Blast provides a stronger option against threats like Corviknight while Aura Sphere trades in power for reliability. Dark Pulse smacks Gholdengo, Stone Edge prevents Zapdos and Iron Moth from checking it, while Nasty Plot boosts its relatively meagre Special Attack, allowing it to OHKO Corviknight with Focus Blast while having strong chances to OHKO it after Stealth Rock with Aura Sphere if used instead. Magic Guard allows it to use a recoil-free Steel Beam while negating Life Orb recoil and entry hazard chip. Lucario's excellent wallbreaking abilities make other offensive partners like Roaring Moon, Deoxys-S, and Dragonite good partners, as they can clean up after it has broken holes into the opposing team. Is this not just the last line but lacking the mention of these mons being fast Lucario's lack of defensive utility makes walls like Corviknight, RegenVest Manaphy, and Swampert much appreciated. Lucario's mediocre Speed also makes fast teammates like Barraskewda, Hisuian Electrode, and the aforementioned Deoxys-S good teammates. It is a bit subjective but I think a bit more should be emphasised on its drawbacks (painfully prediction reliant, 4MSS and slow/fragile) and it being niche. Could also mention struggling a lot into Physdef Manaphy.

Lucario's niche lies in its great mixed wallbreaking capacity and amazing STAB combination. I know they are obvious STAB moves, but it's worth a sentence or clause explaining that CC + SB hit the majority of the metagame for a 2HKO between their high BP and mixed coverage Focus Blast provides a stronger option against threats like Corviknight while Aura Sphere trades in power for reliability. honestly does Aura Sphere hit anything notable? I might drop it and slash something like EQ there for the rare Pex + EdgeQuake Dark Pulse smacks Gholdengo, Stone Edge prevents Zapdos and Iron Moth from checking it switching in safely, while Nasty Plot boosts its relatively meagre Special Attack, allowing it to OHKO Corviknight with Focus Blast while having strong chances to OHKO it after Stealth Rock with Aura Sphere if used instead lets it muscle through bulky teams that can try to dance around its coverage moves.
