[OVERVIEW]
Oricorio-F serves as one of the deadliest setup sweepers in the tier, utilizing its combination of excellent typing, decent offensive stats, reliable recovery, and one of the best setup moves in the game in Quiver Dance. Oricorio-F can find opportunites to set up through its ability to pressure common bulky Grass-, Steel-, and Ice-types like Shaymin, Orthworm, and Articuno; furthermore, it can also set up in the face of specially offensive threats like Charizard and Shaymin, especially with bulk investment. Revelation Dance makes Oricorio-F especially flexible by serving as an excellent move both before and after Terastalization which it can use both offensively and defensively. Oricorio-F often struggles against common special walls like Regirock and Snorlax. Furthermore, priority from the likes of Floatzel, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Brute Bonnet often pressure Oricorio-F, though Terastallization can help it choose its checks more reliably. While it faces fierce competition from Charizard as a more immediately threatening Fire / Flying type as well as Oricorio-P as a Quiver Dance sweeper able to run Grassy Seed, Oricorio-F makes its name in the tier through combining the best of both its typing and movepool to devastate teams once set up.

[SET COMMENTS]
With full offensive investment, Oricorio-F aims to immediately set up and sweep the opposing team once it hits the field. Hurricane's increased power is required over the higher reliablility of Air Slash due to Oricorio-F's middling Special Attack, and it hits foes like Charizard and Clawitzer extremely hard. Revelation Dance serves as excellent secondary coverage to Oricorio-F's Hurricane with or without Terastallization. Oricorio-F's different Terastallization options help aid its setup opportunities and improve its coverage. Tera Ground allows for easier setup versus Electric-types like Jolteon, Choice-locked Rotom formes, and Vikavolt. It also blesses Oricorio-F with a resistance to Lycanroc's Accelrock and an immunity to Electric-type moves like Lanturn's Electric-type STAB moves and Regirock's Thunder Wave. Tera Grass provides Oricorio-F with similar boons against foes like Floatzel and Clawitzer while giving it a resistance to Aqua Jet from Floatzel and Hisuian Qwilfish. Tera Fighting flips Oricorio-F's weakness to Rock-type attacks from foes like Regirock, gives it a strong coverage move against Snorlax, and grants it a helpful resistance to Brute Bonnet's Sucker Punch.
Oricorio-F thrives on balanced and offensive structures that need a wincon once opposing teams are battered and bruised, often taking advantage of the opportunities gained from pivot moves used by Floatzel, Rotom-C, Lanturn, and Passimian. Oricorio-F struggles immensely with special walls like Regirock and Snorlax, so physical wallbreakers like Passimian, Floatzel, Brute Bonnet, and Hisuian Sneasel are greatly appreciated as partners. Special wallbreakers like Mismagius, Rotom-C, and Shaymin work well alongside Oricorio-F in the effort to put additional pressure on special walls as well. Knock Off support from the likes of Passimian, Sneasel, and Sandslash is also appreciated to weaken the aforementioned walls, Lanturn, and Hisuian Qwilfish. Entry hazard support from offensive teammates like Sandslash, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Mesprit is invaluable to help break down the walls like Snorlax and Regirock that can often get in the way of Oricorio-F's sweep. In return, Oricorio-F benefits its teammates by serving as a devastating wincon while being able to pressure certain physical walls like Dipplin and Orthworm prior to going for a sweep.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Oricorio-F can opt for Tera Water on both Quiver Dance sets to have a generally better defensive typing than Tera Grass offers, but it risks being completely walled by opposing Lanturn as well as taking severe damage from the likes of Jolteon, Rotom-C, and Thwackey. Due to access to a few rare and excellent utility moves in Defog and U-turn, Oricorio-F can be used as a bulky utility Defog user and pivot. However, this role is often done better by other entry hazard removers like Sandslash and Lurantis, especially as Oricorio-F is extremely reliant on its Heavy-Duty Boots to maintain its overall health, whereas Sandslash resists Stealth Rock and Lurantis often runs recovery.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Special Walls**: Snorlax, Regirock, and Lanturn can all cause grief for attempts at an Oricorio-F sweep.
**Priority**: Priority Aqua Jet from foes like Floatzel and Hisuian Qwilfish and Accelrock from Lycanroc can cut Oricorio-F's sweep short without Tera Grass. Sucker Punch from the likes of Brute Bonnet can also threaten Oricorio-F, though it's far less reliable due to it being able to play around Sucker Punch with Roost and Quiver Dance. Prankster Encore users like Grafaiai and Whimsicott can use Encore to lock Oricorio-F into a utility move if they manage to switch in safely, though they must be wary of Tera Dark.
**Fast Choice Scarf Users**: Faster Choice Scarf users like Floatzel and Hisuian Sneasel can threaten an OHKO on Oricorio-F even after a Quiver Dance boost.
