- Nasty Plot / Thunderbolt

[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Specs Girafarig is one of the scariest wallbreakers in the tier, blasting through offensive and defensive foes with its narrowly-resisted STAB combination and good Speed. Hyper Voice targets Psychic-resistant Pokemon like Duosion, opposing Girafarig, and Alolan Grimer. Trick cripples anticipated switch-ins like Tinkatuff and Clefairy. After trading away or losing its Choice Specs, Nasty Plot can let Girafarig set up against walls like Quaxwell and Clefairy. Thunderbolt is its strongest option against select targets like Quaxwell, Pawniard, and Vullaby. Sap Sipper gives Girafarig additional switch-in opportunities against Grass-types like Servine, Thwackey, and Ivysaur, though it should be wary of their utility moves like Knock Off, or in Servine's case, Glare.

Girafarig greatly benefits from pivots like Thwackey and Quaxwell, with the former providing Knock Off support and passive recovery and the latter providing entry hazard removal. Fire-types like Monferno and Raboot can threaten out Steel-types like Tinkatuff and Hisuian Sliggoo, two otherwise common switch-ins, while also providing pivoting support. Entry hazard support from setters like Piloswine and Tinkatuff can help push foes into range of Girafarig's moves, such as consistently allowing it to 2HKO Piloswine and OHKO opposing Girafarig with the right attack. Piloswine is a notable teammate that performs well against Tinkatuff and Clefairy and can absorb Thunder Wave while providing additional entry hazard support. Girafarig can, in return, pivot into non-Thunder Wave Misdreavus. Offensive Water-types like Wartortle and Choice Scarf Frogadier can capitalize on Girafarig's wallbreaking and help finish off the opposition; they also appreciate having a switch-in to Grass-types. Dragon-types like Fraxure and Gabite can work together to overwhelm shared checks such as Clefairy and Tinkatuff with their powerful STAB attacks. Status spreaders like Servine and Misdreavus pair well to slow down the opposition with not only paralysis but also item disruption.
Knock Off absorbers and disruptors like Koffing allow Girafarig to maintain its wallbreaking prowess.

(might be good to mention how grounds help switch into tink and also stuff that switches into darks)

I would somehow add that Girafarig can also come-in generally against non-TWave Misdreavus, which enables it to wreak havoc. Which is huge as Missy is a staple in the tier.

Beyond that, idk if we could add something like Knock Off-absorbers including Tinkatuff and other mons with Trick/Thief like Clefairy or Koffing synergize with Girafarig as Knock Off is super-effective and it hates getting their item removed before tricking and the reduction of raw power.

With Choice Specs, Girafarig is one of the scariest wallbreakers in the tier;, blasting through offensive (teams? right now you're saying offensive walls) and defensive walls with its narrowly resisted STAB combination and good Speed. Hyper Voice targets common Psychic-resistant Pokemon likesuch as Duosion, opposing Girafarig, and Alolan Grimer. Trick cripples anticipated switch-ins likesuch as Tinkatuff and Clefairy. After trading away or losing its Choice Specs, Nasty PlotGirafarig can set up Nasty Plot against defensive walls likesuch as Quaxwell and Clefairy. Thunderbolt is its strongest option against select targets like: Quaxwell, Pawniard, and Vullaby. Sap Sipper gives Girafarig additional switch-in opportunities against Grass-types like Servine, Thwackey, and Ivysaur (see note 2), though it should be wary of their utility moves.

Girafarig greatly benefits from pivots likesuch as Thwackey and, Quaxwell, with the formMonferno, and Raboot, each of which offer additional utility. Thwackey providinges Knock Off support and passive recovery, and the latter providingQuaxwell offers hazard removal. Fire-types like Monferno and Raboot are both Fire-types which can threaten out Steel-types likesuch as Tinkatuff and Hisuian Sliggoo, two otherwise common switch-ins., while also providing pivoting support. Piloswine is a notable teammate which performs well against Tinkatuff and Clefairy and can absorb Thunder Wave, all while providing entry hazard support.(see comment 3)Entry hazard support from setters like Piloswine and Tinkatuff can helpand other hazard setters can also push foes into calculation ranges, such as consistently(consistently != always. if you want to emphasize, consider "guaranteeing the 2HKO against Piloswine...")allowing Girafarig to 2HKOing Piloswine and OHKOing opposing Girafarig with the right attack. In return, Girafarig can, in return, pivot into non-Thunder Wave Misdreavus (which threatens them with x? not sure why Piloswine and Tinkatuff care about Misdreavus. does it Taunt them? get a free switch against them?). Offensive Water-types likesuch as Wartortle and Choice Scarf Frogadier can capitalize on Girafarig's wallbreaking and help finish off the opposition; they also appreciate having a switch-in to Grass-type attackers. Dragon-types likesuch as Fraxure and Gabite can work togeuse their powerful STAB attacks to overwhelm shared checks such as Clefairy and, Tinkatuff, and togeother wichecks that ir powerful STAB attacksthey share with Girafarig. Utility spreaders likesuch as Servine and Misdreavus also pair well with together to not onlyGirafarig, slowing down the opposition with not only paralysis and, but also item disruption. Piloswine is a notable teammate for performing well against Tinkatuff and Clefairy, and can absorb Thunder Wave while providing additional entry hazard support. Knock Off absorbers and disruptors likesuch as Koffing also pair well with it, allowing Girafarig to maintain its wallbreaking prowess.(see comment 4)

some notes:
  1. like = similar to, resembling; such as = inclusive of, "for example"
    • if you find yourself using "such as" too frequently and want to vary it up, consider leading with the pokemon names
      • "Tinkatuff and other hazard setters can also push foes into calculation ranges" > "Hazard setters such as Tinkatuff and Piloswine"
  2. if you're going to say "it can switch into grass-types but should be mindful of their utility" and list examples, i want to know what utility to look out for. if that detail isn't very important, i don't think the examples are either. the reader can identify grass-types without our help
    • if there is utility that feels worth calling out, rephrase to "...against grass-types such as...wary of [Toxic, Encore, etc.]"
  3. you had this bit about Piloswine toward the end, but if it's a notable teammate as you say, it should be closer to the top. you also mentioned it as an example of a good hazard setting teammate, so i tried to situate this sentence beside the hazard setter sentence
  4. this sentence is flimsy. all that i can say after reading it is that koffing helps girafarig break teams with knock off, but you're also vaguely gesturing at "disruptors" without giving a sense of what that means or which other pokemon qualify for the role. i would either cut the sentence or add more substance to it.
good work. i know there's a lot of color but i didn't really make any major changes apart from shifting a sentence.

didn't know that NFE was a played format these days. sounds fun!!

1/1 GP Team done. feel free to include any more in-depth strictural edits from above as well

With Choice Specs (RC) Girafarig is one of the scariest wallbreakers in the tier (RSC), (AC) blasting through offensive and defensive walls foes with its narrowly resisted narrowly-resisted STAB combination and good Speed. Hyper Voice targets Psychic-resistant Pokemon like Duosion, opposing Girafarig, and Alolan Grimer. Trick cripples anticipated switch-ins like Tinkatuff and Clefairy. After trading away or losing its Choice Specs, Nasty Plot can let Girafarig set up against defensive walls all walls are defensive like Quaxwell and Clefairy. Thunderbolt is its strongest option against select targets like Quaxwell, Pawniard, and Vullaby. Sap Sipper gives Girafarig additional switch-in opportunities against Grass-types like Servine, Thwackey, and Ivysaur, though it should be wary of their utility moves. feel free to address the comment about adding mentions of the utility moves

Utility spreaders do you mean status spreaders? utlity isn't a spreadable thing like Servine and Misdreavus pair well together to not only slow down the opposition with not only paralysis (RC) but also item disruption. Piloswine is a notable teammate for performing that performs well against Tinkatuff and Clefairy (RC) and can absorb Thunder Wave while providing additional entry hazard support. feel free to address the comment and move this point up as well Knock Off absorbers and disruptors like Koffing also pair well with it, allowing allow Girafarig to maintain its wallbreaking prowess.
