all i want to know what team did you use to beat the pokemon league and still use in your game.

these pokemon do not include your EV trained pokemon.

also wich starter pokemon did you choose.

the team i originally used to beat the pokmeon league and still used after was:

1.Infernape
2.Golduck
3.Crobat
4.Luxray
5.Abomasnow
6.Rhyperior

what was yours?
 
I always choose grass for the first time and then get a second game for that generation and get the others or GTS in this case...But I just always choose grass lol

for my in-game team for the first time was infernape/torterra/empoleon/palkia/garchomp/ and a sucky luxray. All around 55 except luxray
 
I defeated the league with the folowing pokes:
Infernape,
Torterra,
Luxray,
Floazel,
Staraptor,
Dialga,

Now I've dumped them all in my boxes. in-game I'm walking with my Swellow (lv60, not EV'd or something) just for flying and simply get rid of those ignorance pokemon showing up in tall grass.

Now they rot in my boxes. Infernape sucked because it had a -speed nature.

Basically, all the Pokemon that I started the game with. Yes, I started with the chimp, penguin, and turtle. I traded with my friend. And Abra was one of the first good Pokes I captured, so it was a staple on my team ingame. They all had terrible movesets, though. For example:

Nape:

-Flame Wheel
-Close Combat
-Mach Punch

Staraptor:
-Fly
-Aerial Ace
-Brave Bird
-Close Combat

Torterra:
-Crunch
-Razor Leaf
-Earthquake
-Rock Smash

I remembered I used up so many ethers, revives, and hyper potions when I got to the E4. Both were around the mid 50s or so iirc. Using two pokemon with recoil moves and a 5 pp move through the E4 was fun. These three were also the only pokemon i captured throughout the game besides Palkia and a hasty Abra I caught for getting a hasty Palkia.

I started off with Chimchar and later traded for a Piplup over the GTS. Wanting not to waste a Dawn Stone, I EV trained a Roselia in Ruby and used my friend's Pal Park and traded it to my game. Joining the team were Staraptor, Luxray, and Dialga (the latter to give me time when reviving other Pokemon).

I was severely crippled in two areas. First, my Staraptor was female and I didn't want to waste a U-Turn TM on it, so I had to use Luxray against Lucian, and his Alakazam almost swept my team. Second, Garchomp was sweeping me pretty badly and Empoleon couldn't switch in and take the hit. I tried to stall Garchomp out, and I got really really lucky when it used Giga Impact and my Infernape fainted. I didn't know what GI did, and I was elated when Garchomp had to recharge that turn.

basically, when I beat the E4 with these bums, none of them were over Lv.51, and I really should be shot for Drifblim's Moveset. But as I know, Staraptor died when I restarted, Drifblim is on my current game, Empoleon is on my friend's game until i get him back and Rozerade is with someone random on the road of the GTS system....

well, those are my teams. I feel that my 2nd one i had sold to pokemon hell if there is one as I used my AR to give my character about 5,000 rare candies, and unlimited TM's, and berries. as seeing as the first team had been Rare Candied to Lv.65 b/f the E4 I felt kind of guilty although I did lose to Cynthia once.....

In Emerald, I beat the E-4 with my Swampert and Swellow. I had Rock Tomb for Salamence....it was still a major pain though...

i traded in a lvl one oddish, shuppet, and lileep instead.

That's what I went through my Diamond with. It mostly sucked and was seriously underleveled through the E4 (When I beat Cynthia, Empoleon was the highest level at Lv50.), but I was fortunate to catch a Jolly Magikarp and a female Adamant Shinx with Rivalry--that Luxray and her Crunch was a big help against Fantina.
 
Chimchar. Very easy to use. Either Swords Dancing or Plotting (I used Swords Dance Infernape to clear the game)

While i was at Lv.59 or so, I ripped Cynthia apart just by using Infernape. I gave it an X-Speed to make sure it's faster than Garchomp
 
I had only Torrterra, Staraptor, and Gyarados(and HM slaves by the E4. All were about lv50 (besides the slaves), and by the end 'dos was close to 60. The E4 is really gyara weak >.>. Never blacked out once during the entire game, even though I did make it a point to battle nearly every trainer I saw...
