With its Poison / Fairy typing and access to Defog, Galarian Weezing can act as both entry hazard control and a check to some of the numerous physical attackers in OU. However, Galarian Weezing suffers from a lack of reliable recovery and weak offenses, meaning it is often worn down easily and struggles to pressure foes, making it outclassed as a consistent source of hazard removal. It's also easily taken advantage of by common Pokemon such as Rotom-H and Toxapex, adding to its drawbacks. Strange Steam lets it threaten Dark-, Dragon-, and Fighting-type Pokemon such as Mandibuzz, Hydreigon, and Conkeldurr. Flamethrower allows Galarian Weezing to dissuade Steel-types such as Aegislash, Ferrothorn, and Excadrill from switching in. Will-O-Wisp neuters most physical attackers and makes Pokemon such as Corviknight and Excadrill hesitant to switch in. Alternatively, Toxic can be used to cripple common hazard setters such as Seismitoad and Galarian Corsola, as well as offensive switch-ins such as Rotom-H and Cinderace. Levitate is the ability of choice due to Galarian Weezing losing its Ground weakness and becoming immune to Spikes, which is more valuable than Neutralizing Gas suppressing abilities or Misty Surge setting Misty Terrain.

Galarian Weezing is very weak to extremely strong wallbreakers that either target its weaker Special Defense and exploit its typing such as Hatterene and Aegislash or just have the raw power to muscle through it such as Dracovish. Offensive Dark-types such as Bisharp and Hydreigon can deal with the former issue while taking advantage of Galarian Weezing's ability to check Fighting-types. Defensive Pokemon such as Ferrothorn and Seismitoad check Dracovish and appreciate Galarian Weezing's Defog, which can remove entry hazards that are wearing them down and prevent them from being taken advantage of by Pokemon such as dual screens Grimmsnarl. Hydreigon and Seismitoad are good partners in particular, as these Pokemon can check Rotom-H, a common foe that takes advantage of Galarian Weezing.

Probably ready for QC. Two things I thought were worth mentioning:

1) Neutralizing Gas mention for some niche interactions (Conk losing all its power, checking scarved Dracovish/zolt)

2) Slashing Sludge Bomb so that it's either Sludge Bomb + Wisp or Flamethrower + Toxic. Flamethrower is more versatile in either case and I think Wisp is generally more useful, but this lets Galarian Weezing generally beat Fairy-types and maybe switch into LO Clef etc, and Wisp isn't as necessary when you just want to Strange Steam something it checks anyways.

However, Galarian Weezing suffers from a lack of reliable recovery and weak offenses, meaning it is often worn down easily and struggles to pressure foes outside of status, making it outclassed as a consistent source of hazard removal. You can also mention that it's easily taken advantage of by Pokemon like Rotom-H and Toxapex. Strange Steam is Galarian Weezing's main STAB move that lets it threaten Dark-, Dragon-, and Fighting-type Pokemon such as Grimmsnarl, Hawlucha, and Conkeldurr. Grimmsnarl isn't particularly relevant, another Dark-type like Mandibuzz or Hydreigon, which are far more relevant would make more sense to mention here. You should also mention a Dragon-type instead of Hawlucha. Flamethrower allows Galarian Weezing to dissuade Steel-types such as Excadrill, Aegislash, and Ferrothorn from switching in. Both of those Pokemon are definitely relevant enough to explicitly mention. Will-O-Wisp neuters most physical attackers and makes it risky for them to switch in for fear of being burned. Some specific mentions would be useful here. Corviknight and Excadrill in particular hate being burned, so you could mention those. Alternatively, Toxic can be used to cripple common hazard setters such as Seismitoad and Galarian Corsola, as well as offensive switch-ins such as Rotom-H and Cinderace. You should have a sentence that points out why Levitate is better than Neutralizing Gas and Misty Surge.

Defensive Pokemon such as Ferrothorn and Seismitoad appreciate Galarian Weezing's ability to remove hazards that might be wearing them down, and can prevent them from becoming setup fodder for Pokemon such as Grimmsnarl or Hawlucha. Powerful attackers that are vulnerable to hazards such as Galarian Darmanitan and Dragapult also benefit from hazard removal, and can bring in Galarian Weezing via their U-turn. This isn't particularly relevant. Galarian Weezing is very weak to extremely strong wallbreakers that either target its weaker Special Defense and exploit its typing such as Hatterene and Aegislash, or just have the raw power to muscle through it such as Dracovish. The aforementioned Ferrothorn or Seismitoad can form a decent core and deal with the latter, while offensive Dark-types such as Bisharp and Hydreigon can deal with the former while taking advantage of Galarian Weezing's ability to check Fighting-types. It's really important to have good checks to Rotom-H alongside Galarian Weezing, that should be mentioned here.

Good job, 1/2.

I recommend the Neutralizing Gas mention, maybe even a slash? Most common EQ users in the meta are Excadrill who either Mold Breaks or just Iron Heads you, Dugtrio who you can escape from either way, Seismitoad who is better off clicking Scald, Conk who gets majorly fucked by Neutralizing Gas (a burned Conk EQ does less to Neutralizing Gas Weezing than burned Conk Thunder Punch does to Levitate Weezing), and Hippowdon (fair enough but it still doesn’t do much if you burn it first). Spikes immunity is pretty nice too. Meanwhile Neutralizing Gas has some pretty great benefits like being able to Defog freely if they have a Bisharp, not being PP stalled out of Flamethrower PP by Corviknight by disabling Pressure (it does about 30% to standard Defog Corviknight), improves Dracovish matchup a lot, and has a lot more fringe benefits like disabling Magic Bounce, Prankster, Magic Guard, etc. which aren’t as gamechanging but can add up to some extra damage over the course of a game.

Check implemented. I imagine GP will have a field day with this one. I'll try to be more concise.

One thing to note with the points made above regarding EQ users is that having Neutralizing Gas basically means that GW ceases to be able to switch into/check some of them whereas it previously still could to some degree. No Levitate means that you can't actually switch in for a Defog or Wisp or w/e vs a Duggy that's just RK'ed your Pokemon (unless you want to eat the EQ anyways), you can't check Hippo until you Wisp it, but it's now not safe to switch in and you probably still just lose 1v1 to it (reliable recovery + repeated STAB EQs will still whittle it down), and you can no longer have any semblance of getting off an emergency Defog/status/damage on Seismitoad.

The benefits to Neutralizing Gas are imo neat enough for a mention, as some of those effects are pretty great, but I personally think Levitate's overall utility makes a slash sort of questionable. I might be overrating it though since I very much think that anything with Defog wants to minimize its hazard damage at all costs, and the Spikes immunity alone makes me think of it as clearly superior. QC knows best here though.

I feel like this sentence is just kinda confusing. Like I know you're implying that the reader already knows that you're referring to Defog removing Grimm setting up screens and Lucha in Terrain, but tbh I can totally see someone not fully understanding. I'd specify what you mean by preventing them from becoming setup fodder, because normally people will associate setup fodder with boosting moves.

Galarian Weezing is very weak to extremely strong wallbreakers that either target its weaker Special Defense and exploit its typing such as Hatterene and Aegislash,(RC) or just have the raw power to muscle through it such as Dracovish. Offensive Dark-types such as Bisharp and Hydreigon can deal with the former issue while taking advantage of Galarian Weezing's ability to check Fighting-types. Defensive Pokemon such as Ferrothorn and Seismitoad check the latter,(RC) Dracovish (is this the only important one to list? otherwise, just add "issue" or any synonym instead of removing "the latter"--do remove the comma no matter what, though) and appreciate Galarian Weezing's Defog, which can remove entry hazards that are wearing them down and prevent them from being taken advantage of by Pokemon such as Dual Screens dual screens Grimmsnarl or and Hawlucha under Terrain. Hydreigon and Seismitoad are good partners in particular, as these Pokemon can check Rotom-H, a common foe that takes advantage of Galarian Weezing.
