Weakness Policy (Metagross) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Clear Body
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 248 HP / 100 Atk / 28 Def / 132 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Heavy Slam / Meteor Mash
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake
- Psychic Fangs / Hone Claws

[SET COMMENTS]
* Heavy Slam is for Fairy-types like Iron Valiant and Whimsicott as well as light Pokemon such as Meowscarada and Porygon-Z.
* Meteor Mash can be used for consistent damage, being particularly useful against heavy Rock- and Ice-type Pokemon
* Bullet Punch is useful for securing KOs on faster Pokemon, Encore + Disable Pokemon such as Iron Valiant and Alolan Ninetales, and pinch Berry users such as Sneasler.
* Earthquake is for Hisuian Goodra and Metagross mirror matchups.
* Psychic Fangs is for Pecharunt and some Urshifu-R sets. It also helps break Reflect from Pokemon like Primarina and Kyurem.
* Hone Claws allows Metagross to set up against Counter users like Hisuian Goodra, which cannot be OHKOed by Metagross's Earthquake, allowing it to OHKO Hisuian Goodra with +1 Earthquake.
* The bulk EVs let Metagross survive Modest Choice Specs Kyurem's Earth Power and Adamant Choice Band Haxorus's Earthquake. The rest of the EVs are put into Attack for more Regidrago reliability.
* If Metagross is not running Hone Claws to set up Attack against Counter Hisuian Goodra, it can chip away at Hisuian Goodra's HP with Bullet Punch, since Counter won't do much, then it can KO Hisuian Goodra when it's in Earthquake's KO range.
* Since Metagross is weak to Fire-, Dark-, and Ground-type moves, a Water- or Fairy-type Pokemon like Manaphy or Primarina makes a good teammate.

*Meteor Mash is another great stab move with high risk and high reward (not really, Meteor Mash has only 90% accuracy, it's not Focus Blast high risk high reward, this isn't worth mentioning, rather, "Meteor Mash is used for more damage against heavy Rock- and Ice-type Pokemon like Kyurem, Iron Boulder, and Rhyperior.".)
Hp and Defense is for earthquake from Choice band Haxorus, (and Hyperspace Fury from) Choice scarf Hoopa-U and Assault vest Hoopa-U
Hisui-Avalugg custap. (irrelevant to current meta, remove it.)
*Psychic Fangs is for pokemons that are weak to Psychic-type moves like Sneasler, Urshifu-R and Annihilape (also helps break Reflect from Pokemon that can set it like Primarina and Kyurem)
Azurmail (ok this one is a step too far you have to fix it)
*Hone Claws allows Metagross to set up against stall pokemon (like? search examples.)
(there's no bullet point on Earthquake, please fix that)
light-weight pokemons. (like? also search an example)
sorry that they're not ordered, tell me on cord when you implement and i'll take another look.

Hisuain-Goodra (hisuian, and also it fears Counter, so you should mention that.)

*Heavy Slam is good against for Primarina, Iron Valiant, and Whimsicott, and it can also deal massive stab damage to as well as light-weight (i'll let u decide if its necessary) pokemons Pokemon such as Meowscarada and Porygon-Z.
*Meteor Mash is another great stab move can be used for more consistent damage, especially useful against heavy rRock- and Ice-type Pokemons like Kyurem, Iron Boulder, and Rhyperior. And because Meteor Mash can deal consistent damage, unlike Heavy Slam, which relies on weight, it is a good alternative for steel-type moves.
*Bullet Punch is useful for securing KOs on faster Pokemon. It's also used for eEncore-Disable pokemon such as Iron Valiant and Alolan-Ninetales., It is also good against as well as Custap pPokemon such as Primarina custap and Sylveon custap.
u beat sylv without BP and you lose to custap prim anyway find a new example

*Earthquake is a great Ground-type move that is good against for Raging Bolt (u lose), HisuainHisuian-Goodra, Iron Hands (u have psyfangs), and Iron Crown. https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen91v1-2181694476-15gdg7582d3s7mlr4sobrdswaevaiblpw ( u lose) find another example, meta mirror odds might (?) be fine but try to find another surefire one
*Psychic Fangs is for pokemon that are weak to Psychic-type moves like Sneasler, (it dies to slam or eq) Pecharunt, and some Urshifu-R., and Annihilape. (u dont beat any) It also helps breaks Reflect from Pokemons that can set it, like Primarina and Kyurem.
*Hone Claws allow Metagross to set up against stall pokemon such as Pecharunt (u win w psyfangs) add a new example (or remove the stall bit if there are none) and good against pPokemon with cCounter like Hisuian-Goodra, which cannot be ohko OHKOed by Metagross's eEarthquake.
*The HP and Special Defense EVs is to let Metagross survive against Earth power from Choice specs. Kyurem, Modest Choice Specs Kyurem's Earth Power. The HP, and Defense EVs are for Earthquake from Choice Band, Haxorus, Adamant Choice Band Haxorus Earthquake. and Hyperspace Fury from Choice Scarf. Hoopa-U and Assault Vest Hoopa-U. The rest of the EVs are put into aAttack for more Regidrago reliability.
*Since Metagross is weak against Fire-type, Dark-types and Ground-types moves, Water- or Fairy-Type Pokemon like Primarina and Manaphy make goodare a good second pick teammates.

Add a usage tip point on scouting/outplaying counter vs things that can't do much damage to you by using bullet punch eg. Hoodra

2/2 when implemented
